[0:00] Have you seen the redeyed little gnomes [0:02] at the gear stall in Grow a Garden, too? [0:04] Well, if you're wondering, they are as [0:06] evil as they look and determined to [0:08] cause destruction and take down anyone [0:10] who tries to steal your crops. In this [0:12] quick guide, we'll break down how much [0:14] they cost, how to get them, what they [0:16] do, and how to best use them. Gnomes are [0:19] sold in the gear shop, the one with the [0:20] blue and white striped canopy in the [0:22] center that's run by George. They cost [0:25] 100,000 shekels and are epic rarity. So [0:28] unfortunately they are often not in [0:30] stock. But when they are, there are [0:32] usually multiple available at once. So [0:35] if you have the funds, you can stock up [0:37] on these aggressive garden ornaments. A [0:39] gnome is there to protect your garden, [0:41] and it takes that job very seriously. [0:44] When you place a gnome down, it will [0:45] patrol around sternly with its angry [0:48] little eyes laser focused on anyone who [0:50] tries to mess with your crops. If anyone [0:52] dares to enter your garden, it will slap [0:54] them around. It doesn't even need to be [0:57] night for them to attack. A gnome will [0:59] kick out about anyone who enters your [1:01] garden, even during the day. And guess [1:03] what? They also climb. So, if a thief [1:06] tries to climb up a bamboo or mushroom [1:08] to get away from you, that little gnome [1:10] is going to climb and track them down [1:12] every single time. Gnomes last just 10 [1:16] minutes, though. While a gnome is a [1:18] fantastic guard, be aware that they do [1:21] run out. Since a night cycle only lasts [1:23] 2 minutes, they'll at least have you [1:25] covered if you leave your garden [1:27] unlocked and unattended. Since gnomes [1:30] are not permanent additions to your [1:32] garden and are pretty costly, I'd wait [1:34] until players are sniffing around before [1:36] placing them down. Sometimes you'll be [1:38] in a server where people leave you alone [1:40] entirely, especially if you got some of [1:43] the more basic craps, so don't waste [1:45] your gnomes. [1:48] That's gnomes covered, but they're not [1:50] the only type of defense you can get in [1:51] Grow a Garden, too. Looking for extra [1:53] defense? Then head on over to our wiki [1:56] guide where you can find recommendations [1:57] of the best pets, including a tier list [2:00] and suggestions for pet combos, such as [2:02] the defensive duo that you can use [2:04] alongside gnomes to stop thieves in [2:07] their tracks.
