[0:00] So, how much does YouTube pay for 1,000 [0:02] views in 2025? Let me show you. This [0:04] right here is one of my YouTube [0:05] channels. And in the last 28 days, I [0:07] have gotten 1.6 million views, 166,000 [0:11] hours of watch time for a grand total of [0:15] $8,479. And the RPM was [0:18] $5.17. For those of you that are [0:19] confused about what RPM is, that [0:21] essentially just means how much YouTube [0:22] pays you per 1,000 views. And yes, you [0:25] can manipulate this. Now, I know you [0:26] don't know who I am, but my name is [0:27] Romero. I was one of the first ones to [0:29] start doing YouTube automation back in [0:31] 2018. And with only three of my faceless [0:33] YouTube channels, I have made over $1.6 [0:35] million. So, if you're looking to start [0:37] YouTube as a side hustle or just as a [0:39] hobby, I'm going to show you how to [0:40] manipulate your RPM and how you can make [0:42] the most amount of money, even if you're [0:44] just doing it to [ __ ] around. Now, the [0:45] first thing I want to talk about is what [0:47] niches have the best RPM. Everybody [0:49] knows that the health niche, business, [0:51] finance, crypto, all of those niches are [0:54] going to have the highest RPM, but that [0:55] doesn't mean you should do it, right? [0:57] Every guru on YouTube is going to tell [0:58] you to do those because it's the easiest [1:00] answer. But this YouTube channel that [1:02] you're seeing here is in the celebrity [1:03] news niche. And yes, you know, the [1:05] business niche probably has like a $8, [1:07] $10 RPM, but it's very hard to pull [1:09] views like this. And by the way, this [1:11] channel is underperforming by a lot. [1:13] What I'm trying to say is that to have a [1:15] high RPM on YouTube, you don't have to [1:16] do boring niches like that. For example, [1:18] this is one single YouTube video that I [1:20] posted about the Pawn Stars, the Golden [1:22] Silver Pawn Stars, uh, on the History [1:24] Channel. It's a TV show. This video [1:26] ended up getting 9.9 million views, 657 [1:29] hours of watch time, and that paid me a [1:31] total of [1:34] $69,780. And the RPM was [1:37] $7.7. So that's a huge difference. [1:39] That's a $2 difference per,000 views. [1:41] Now, why is the RPM so much higher on [1:43] this YouTube channel even though it's [1:44] still talking about celebrities? One of [1:46] the biggest reasons, and something that [1:47] you should consider before starting [1:48] YouTube, is the age of your audience. [1:51] This is the average age of the audience [1:53] that watch this video. over 60% of the [1:56] viewers were over the age of 35 years [1:58] old. Now, if I go into my celebrity news [2:00] channel, you can see there's a huge [2:02] difference. We're talking about 25 to [2:03] 34. We have almost a 10% of viewers [2:06] under the age of 24. So, yeah, the older [2:08] your audience is, the more money you're [2:10] going to make. Think about it from the [2:12] advertisers perspective. Let's go ahead [2:13] and say you work for a pharmaceutical [2:15] company and your job is to run [2:16] advertisement on YouTube about a [2:19] diabetes medication. you're going to go [2:20] to YouTube and try to target all of the [2:23] older people. You're definitely not [2:24] going to target people under the age of [2:26] 17. So, as an advertiser, you have to be [2:28] very strategic on what niches you're [2:30] going to run your advertisements, what [2:32] videos, what channels, what age group, [2:34] and try to find the target audience that [2:35] you're going for. That's just one of the [2:37] things that come into play. Now, the [2:38] second thing that affects RPM is the [2:40] season. You know, we have Q1, Q2, Q3, [2:42] and Q4. Everybody knows that Q4 is the [2:45] best. That is October, November, and [2:47] December. This is when advertisers on [2:49] YouTube go crazy. They try and spend [2:51] their entire budget, right? That's when [2:52] people buy the most. We have a bunch of [2:54] holidays. It's crazy. And I'm going to [2:56] show you an example of that. Right? So, [2:57] this channel as of right now, the [2:58] Celebrity News One, is underperforming [3:00] by a lot. And just to show you, this [3:02] channel started in March of 2020. It's [3:04] gotten 213 million views, 13.8 million [3:07] hours of watch time, and I've made over [3:10] $1,34,000. Now, in September of 2024, [3:13] this YouTube channel, because this is [3:15] when Q4 started, made [3:18] $50,34, right? And this had an RPM of [3:21] $8.83. And in October, this channel made [3:25] $28,000 with an RPM of [3:27] $8.51. Now, I switched this back to the [3:29] last 28 days. It dropped down to [3:32] $5.17 because I I think we're in Q2. [3:34] We're still in Q1. I don't know. But [3:36] seasons do matter. The third thing that [3:38] matters is where your audience is from. [3:40] US viewers have the highest RPM. I [3:42] believe Germany is the second. Now, in [3:43] the last 28 days, this YouTube channel [3:45] that is not in English, this is in a [3:47] completely different language, has [3:48] gotten 1.2 million views, and that's [3:50] paid [3:53] $2,588. And the RPM was [3:56] $221. So, target US viewers, target an [3:59] older audience, or you can just get a [4:01] [ __ ] ton of views. Now, the fourth and [4:03] last thing that affects RPM and how much [4:05] you're going to make on YouTube is your [4:07] average view duration. For example, I [4:08] posted this video 27 days ago. It's [4:11] gotten 366,000 views, and I got paid [4:15] $1,863. This video had a $59 RPM, and [4:19] the average view duration was 4 minutes [4:21] 39, which is a minute less than usual. [4:24] What average view duration means is [4:26] exactly what it sounds like. It's on [4:27] average, how long did people watch the [4:29] video? Now, I posted this video on March [4:31] 31st of this year. It's gotten 242,000 [4:34] views and that paid me [4:37] $1,497. The RPM of this video was [4:40] $6.18 because the average view duration [4:43] was 7 minutes and 19 seconds, which is [4:46] really good. So, as a little bonus, on [4:47] average in 2025, again, it's April 29th, [4:51] this channel has gotten 5.5 million [4:53] views, 538,000 hours of watch time. It [4:56] gained 9,600 subscribers, and that paid [4:58] me [5:00] $31,200. If I go into revenue, the [5:02] overall RPM this year has been [5:05] $5.71. I only focus on these faceless [5:08] YouTube channels. All of my channels are [5:09] completely automated and they run by [5:11] themselves. Besides this, this is the [5:12] only channel where I actually have to [5:13] sit here and and show my face. But yeah, [5:15] if you're interested in doing YouTube [5:16] automation, I have a school community [5:18] where I show you guys exactly how I did [5:19] it. See, I got a bunch of videos and [5:21] [ __ ] I'm really bad at promoting. I [5:23] have a blueprint here or whatever. Give [5:25] you a list of niches, give you my [5:26] extension for free, blah blah blah. You [5:29] know, you know, I have members in here [5:31] making $5,000 in in the last 7 days. [5:33] Other members making 5,000 in 28 days. [5:35] This student here made $6,000 in 3 days. [5:38] And there's a bunch more. I don't know. [5:39] You guys can check it out if you want. [5:40] Link will be in the description or pin [5:42] comments. I don't feel like promoting [5:44] right now, but I hope this video helped. [5:46] You know, it's very possible to make [5:47] passive income on YouTube even without [5:49] getting millions of views, right? If [5:50] you're just looking for extra money, why [5:52] not? [ __ ] it. Give it a shot. Post a [5:54] video about the Kardashians. You know, [5:55] everything's done with AI nowadays, so [5:58] why not?
