## Summary

The video shares the creator's personal journey of completing 100 trades using the Ichimoku system, revealing that the real lesson was not about the indicator itself but about discipline and mindset. It emphasizes that Ichimoku is a philosophical system rooted in Japanese culture, teaching clarity, patience, and emotional control.

### Key Points

- **Initial Misuse of Ichimoku** [00:43] — The creator initially treated Ichimoku like a Western indicator, cluttering charts with extra tools, but learned that Ichimoku is designed to keep things simple and disciplined.
- **Clarity Beats Complexity** [02:56] — Ichimoku looks complex but each line has one purpose: to show the equilibrium. Trading is about aligning with the present moment, not predicting the next move.
- **The Kumo as a Mirror of the Mind** [03:42] — The Kumo (cloud) is a psychological visualization. When the market is messy, the Kumo becomes flat; when momentum builds, the chart clears. Never trade inside the Kumo.
- **Japanese Discipline in Action** [05:03] — Adopting Japanese cultural practices: Kaizen (continuous improvement), Shuhari (stages of mastery), and No Mind (detaching from emotion).
- **Distancing Beats Direction** [06:36] — Ichimoku doesn't predict; it prepares. The edge comes from following the system without second-guessing. The real question is how well you can follow your plan.
- **Bonus Insights from 100 Trades** [07:29] — Bonus insights: trade less, respect every loss, detach from money, and prioritize consistency over accuracy. Trading mastery comes after 100 lessons, not 100 wins.

After 100 trades using Ichimoku, I thought I'd found the holy grail of trading. But what I actually found was myself. My flaws, my fears, and the ultimate truth about what really matters in trading.
Everyone in the West says Ichimoku is a powerful system. And that's actually true. But after 100 trades, I learned a hard lesson. It's not the indicator that makes the money.
It's actually the discipline behind it. If you think Ichimoku is just a bunch of lines and colorful clouds, think again. Hello everyone, welcome back to the channel. My name is Kei and I'm a Japanese full time trader currently living here in Dubai.
And over the years I've been teaching the true essence of trading and it has become my absolute passion here on YouTube. When I first started using Ichimoku Kimikojo system, I treated it like any other Western
traders would, like I thought it was just another fancy indicator that predicts support and resistance and future targets. But I read the original Japanese texts that sit behind myself here, and I studied the
philosophy behind it. And after executing 100 trades using only Ichimoku King Gojo, I discovered that this Japanese system isn't technical.
Instead, it's deeply philosophical. In fact, it's designed to teach you three things that Western gurus really talk about. Number one, surrender to the market. And number two, trade as if you have no position.
And number three, become a non-losing trader. Today, I'm going to share the reality of what 100 Ichimoku trades taught me, lessons that no strategy book ever could.
Just like most traders, I used Ichimoku completely wrong at first. I let myself get pulled into what other educators call a never-ending vortex of confusion.
I cluttered my chart and mixed Ichimoku with RSI, Ohibarashi, or other random price action patterns. And I was ignoring the very thing Ichimoku was designed to do Keep things simple structured and disciplined The result i was simply reacting to noise at that time and that when i drew a line on the hand and decided myself that for the next one a 100
trace i should start there i would trade only ichimoku no exercise no shortcuts just pure Japanese discipline. And here is the first thing that happened. Number one, clarity beats complexity.
Ichimoku looks complex to the unshined eye. Five lines, sperm and akuma clouds, but the truth is that it's a masterclass in clarity. Each line has one purpose, to show you what most traders
cannot see, which is the equilibrium. After 100 trades, I realized that trading is not about predicting the next move. It's about aligning with the present moment. When all the small components
align, the price, the trend, the Tenkan-sen, the Kijun-sen, and the Kumo-cloud, you don't need 10 extra confirmation. What you have to do is, you just simply need to wait. Patience creates
clarity, and the clarity creates confidence which leads to the result. The Kumo is a mirror of your mind. The Kumo or the Ichimoku cloud isn't just a presentation of Christ's action.
It's a psychological visualization. When the mark gets messy and sideways, the Kumo become flat. When the momentum builds and directions clear, the chart clears up. During my 100th day,
I realized my mindset was the exact same way. When I was calm, I saw a clear setup. When I was emotional, everything looked cloudy. There's a golden rule in Ichimoku. Never trade inside of
the Kumo. It's a no-go zone. If the price is inside the Kumo, it simply means the market is confused. So, I learned to stop trading when I felt mentally cloudy. Because no system
on earth can save you if your mind is not clear 3 The Japanese discipline in action Ichimoku is deeply rooted in Japanese culture Patience structure and precision To survive the 100th ray I had to adopt the three
cultural practices. Number one, kaizen, continuous improvement. After each of the 100th ray, I wrote them one insight, even if it was tiny, 100 training, 100 lessons, with equal massive
progress. Number two, shuhari, stages of mastery. First, you follow the rules, perfectly, which is shu, and then you adopt them, which is ha. Finally, you innovate,
which is Lee. I stopped system hopping and stayed entirely loyal to Ichimoku to master the Shu phase first. 3. No mind. This means detaching from emotion. Trading as if you have no positions. You increase
life personalized, calm, emphasized, and completely emotionless. Surrender to the market's will. Number 4, the power of waiting.
Ichimoku teaches you that no signal is a signal too. Before this challenge, I used to chase setups just to feel productive. I wanted the unwind going,
but during this 100th race, when the march was ranging and Ichimoku Kumo told me to wait, I forced myself to sit on my hands. I realized that doing nothing was the most profitable move I could ever make.
The best traders in the world don't trade all the time. They protect their capital and they wait for the perfect strike. Number five, distancing beats direction.
Ichimoku doesn't predict, it prepares you. The system is built around probabilities, not guarantees. The real edge doesn't come from finding a secret setting.
It comes from following the system without second guessing it. After 100 trades, I stopped asking where will the market go. Instead I started asking myself how well can I follow my plan today today This is the only indicator on your chart that never retains over time Before we wrap up today here are a few rapid bonus insights from those 100 trades
Number one, trade less, learn more. Your best insight comes from observation, not over-trading. Number two, respect every loss.
Each losing trade reveals a behavioral weakness for you to fix. So embrace it. Number three, detach from money. Become a non-losing trader by judging your performance by your process, not your daily profits.
And lastly, consistency over accuracy. A trader with 6% discipline will always beat a trader with 90% luck. So after 100 Ichimoku trades, I didn't just master a trading system.
I mastered myself. Ichimoku taught me clarity and patience and balance. It taught me that trading is not about catching every tiny movement.
It's about waiting for the perfect alignment and executing it with firm precision. The biggest lesson for all, trading mastery doesn't come after 100 wins, it comes after
100 lessons. If it resonated with you, please subscribe to the channel to get notification for more of these guides into mindset-based trading and the true Japanese philosophies behind
