Continuing to stream in 2025 is a waste of time. The dream of growing and making a living from live performances is dead. Today I'm going to tell you the truth. No fluff, just facts and a story you probably have n't heard in full. Let's start with what's
happening today. The market is more saturated than ever. Millions of channels on Twitch, YouTube, and other platforms compete for the same audience. Only the compete for the same audience. Only the top 0.1% to 1% manage to make a living from this.
Even giant creators like Ibai, Rubio, or Aurón have reduced their streaming hours and moved to YouTube, podcasts, and collaborations because live streaming is no longer as profitable as it once was. And pay attention to this fact: a
recent study shows that 80% of channels don't even reach five average viewers. Being a streamer is no longer enough. The audience is looking for content they can watch whenever they want, not just your live schedule. Streaming is not the
best solution. Most of our revenue today does not come from subscriptions or donations. The real money is in sponsorships, collaborations, product sales, and your constant presence on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Doing
only long live streams won't set you apart from the crowd. You need to use every transmission as raw material for shorts, BODs, reels, that keep working for you at all times. That's the main problem with streaming.
producing. In contrast, on other platforms you're producing 24/7, accumulating views and making money. Now let's talk about something that almost no one dares to say. According to Devin Nash, a marketing expert, when his agency analyzed
campaigns on Twitch, they noticed something worrying. The larger the stream, the worse the conversion results. Upon further investigation , they discovered that many of these numbers were inflated using view
bots. The bots that enter the channel and boost your score and say things like, "How beautiful the bots are, how beautiful the numbers are." Well , here's the problem. If you don't have views, you don't appear on Twitch, and since Twitch doesn't have a
discovery system for small streamers, this pushes you to use bots. It's a reality. By doing so, you gain more viewers and that gives you more sponsor opportunities, but then you don't generate real results and sponsors lose faith, not
only in you, but in all streamers. In other words, it's a vicious cycle that ends up harming everyone equally. Bots may give you a boost in numbers initially, but in the long run they damage your reputation and affect the
entire industry as a whole. And while some see Kick as an alternative because of its high return on investment, the problem is that the viewers simply aren't there either. No matter how much more they pay, if there's no audience, there's no
real growth. And we see this both in the metrics and in the experience of many creators. It doesn't matter if they give you 100% of everything you earn. 100% of zero is still much less than 10% of one. So, is
streaming still worthwhile in 2025? Well, yes, but not as a primary source of income. It's useful for creating content, connecting with your community, and recording material that you can then reuse on all other networks. But relying solely on live streams
is playing on very unstable ground and, as you can see, quite unstable ground and, as you can see, quite rigged. My advice: diversify, multistream, use streaming to generate clips, VODs, and content that will bring you
new people. Build your community outside of live streaming and make your income come from multiple sources. Build your Discord, build all your other platforms. And now I ask you, do you stream yet? Are you just starting out or
platforms? Leave it in the comments. Join our creators' Discord and subscribe to learn how to turn each of those live streams into truly worthwhile content. Here's a video where I show you
how to multistream on all platforms. See you there.
