[00:02] Hey everyone, me Kevin here. It looks like we have just handed war victory to Iran and China. Okay, maybe that is a little bit hyperbolic, but let me explain because this is actually pretty
[00:14] embarrassing. Listen to this. A couple of days ago, Donald Trump said, "I quote, I am considering a massive attack, bigger than ever before. I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it." Then, Donald Trump decided
[00:29] to meet with the Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as other members of our of the presidential cabinet. And apparently, Donald Trump was quote persuaded to
[00:41] temporarily put aside bigger bombing plans, which minds you mind you many of people have been calling for, right? Many of people have said like, "Donald Trump, go finish the job. Like, show that American might. Might makes right.
[00:54] Why right? We're going to you know, show Iran who's boss." Because bombing, which is another thing that Donald Trump said. And people said, "All right, then do it. Then have the balls and go do it."
[01:09] Well, apparently, Donald Trump put aside those plans those plans in part because his military advisers made an assessment that we now have dwindling supplies of Patriot missiles,
[01:25] which were down to a low which were down to a low in late April because we had used over 1,200 Patriot missile interceptors in the Iran war. By the way, those are worth about $4 million apiece.
[01:40] these Patriot missiles, but what's worse than that is we have also moved more than that is we have also moved more Patriot missile batteries out of the Asia Pacific region to help with this Iran war, and we still
[01:55] don't have the munitions to defend Kuwait, Bahrain, Israel, or our allies in the region. So, really what we're doing is we're showing China, who in fairness hasn't fought a war since the '70s. So,
[02:09] well, was China really, you know, experienced in fighting? Again, that's you know, and then Xi Jinping would be gambling if he went for Taiwan here, but let's just put it this way. We have moved our MEUs, the Marine Expeditionary
[02:25] Units, out of the Japanese area. Area. Why do they matter? Remember the matter? Well, because Taiwan is a freaking island, okay? That's why we have our MEUs there, to protect Taiwan. Like
[02:42] I I I know that makes sense when I say it, but I mean, pause for a moment. Did you realize that our MEUs came from Japan, and they're specifically in the Asia-Pacific theater because of Taiwan?
[02:56] We have, obviously, massive capitalistic relations with Taiwan Taiwan Semiconductor is, obviously, core to the country, but there's much more than that. We have a fantastic relationship with them. And And really, it lets us
[03:08] with them. And And really, it lets us expand our power and influence in Asia, and enable our allies like South Korea and Japan. and Japan. We've also moved 48 THAAD interceptors
[03:20] off of the Korean Peninsula, which actually now strengthens North Korea. So, look at what we're doing here for a moment. We doing here for a moment. We are dwindling our defensive supplies
[03:32] uh against Iran. We are moving our defensive supplies, and some offensive supplies, including our MEUs, away from the Asia-Pacific region, to where now North Korea has a stronger edge over South Korea.
[03:46] Taiwan. Uh and the United States is actually weaker at defending our allies to the point where we are now concerned that if we keep attacks going, our sword
[04:01] is still nice and sharp. But, if we keep our attacks going in Iran, we're concerned that we're going to run out of defensive munitions. In other words,
[04:13] the way I look at this is it's kind of like Halo. Okay, we got a big scorpion that's the tank. And you know you need the rockets for the tank, right? Okay, the rockets, you got the plasma grenades, you got all the weapons.
[04:28] But, you walk out to fight the tank and you know what you hear? nah. Nah, I got all the rockets I need, but I'm going back inside. What? Cuz your shield just went down.
[04:42] So, like, we got the sword, but we don't have the shield. That's mean, it says something to the production efforts that we have in Like, we need to step up our defense
[04:57] production, no doubt. No wonder there's been talk about like some automotive factories getting converted to producing weapons. Sounds like we need them more than ever before. But, in my opinion,
[05:09] this is a massive invitation to countries like China and Russia because we've just proven that we are even weaker than it appeared. That makes me nervous. See, I've always
[05:24] thought that, you know, train America is so powerful, invincible. You must, uh, you know, be an ally of America. America first, invest in American companies, the best in the world.
[05:38] And now, I hate to say it, but I I I feel like, it's like, wow. You know, a low to middle-sized power in a region,
[05:52] not even a superpower like Russia or China, uh or any other superpower, right? Not a not a superpower. >> All right, guys.
[06:04] Uh diplomacy's not working. Uh striking them is just making them of a bomb. We can't hit their nuclear facility at We don't want to send in ground troops
[06:17] and be bad for our re-election. And we don't really want to keep doing air strikes, we we're probably going to run out of bombs, like defensive munitions, missiles to to defend against their
[06:30] drones and their missiles, which means more people could lose their lives. We their lives uh to a strike that we weren't able to defend. We For some reason, we weren't able to defend an American military
[06:42] >> [sighs and gasps] >> let's just give up. Now, I maybe that's again hyperbolic. Maybe I'm being too extreme to say, "Okay, we're just giving up." I don't think we're giving up. I guess
[06:56] what frustrates me is that we literally like, how did we not factor this in up front? Right? How do we not say in February, "Hey, if we do this and Iran
[07:09] ends up playing a game of attrition where they dig into their caves and they pop out with their cheap drones. We already knew they had them. We've known How long are we willing to fight and how
[07:23] what capability do we have to take down Iran's attacks for how long? And does that then weaken us against a potential China-Taiwan incursion or some other issue around the world?
[07:39] And I can't help but think Donald Trump got a really big head after Venezuela. And then it was now we're going to take Iran and we're going to take Cuba. And then you know, we went to phase two which was Iran and we're now we're like
[07:53] oh >> [sighs] maybe it's that gravitas, you know, of like oh America's so great. But I feel
[08:08] you know, when I thought we were a four-legged stool we're actually just a three-legged stool and we're much more wobbly than I thought. uh is sad.
