[00:01] YouTube shorts. And in this video, I'm that they've implemented so that you could steal it and you could go viral, too. This works no matter how many subscribers you have or no matter what [00:13] niche you're in. All you need to do is implement these five changes. Change you have the right account settings set up. Because if you have even just one of these messed up, it'll be why YouTube isn't giving you the views that they're [00:26] thing that we need to make sure that you have set up correctly are going to be thing I want to make sure that you do is come over here to the top right-hand because of my face, but you're going to want to click on your channel when you [00:40] right-hand corner. From here, you want need to make sure you have several things filled out. For example, you need You need to make sure you have a picture. You need to make sure you have [00:52] a name right here and a custom handle. And ideally, your niche should be example, this channel right here is my AI channel, so I called it RobtheAIguy, and it has my niche, AI, inside of the actual name. You want to make sure that [01:06] to that, when it comes to your description you want right here, you want to make sure that it has your niche in it multiple different times. For example, AI is in here. We could see AI news, AI trends. We could see learn how [01:19] different keywords that I'm going to be uploading on. In addition to that, if we come over here to the home tab, we could see that this is optimized with my popular videos, all of my videos, my shorts, my posts, and my collaborations. [01:32] set up. In addition to that, you could add in other sections if you have other important for your audience to see it. Now, once you have that all set up, you right here. You want to click on channel. You want to make sure you have [01:46] the correct country of residence because if this is wrong, your content will get shown to the wrong audience. In addition to that, these keywords, you want to make sure that you have three things in here. One, you need your channel name in [01:58] here. Two, you need your competitors channels in here, at least two or three that you have keywords in here. If you don't have all of these things set up, addition to that, when you come under feature eligibility, you need to make [02:12] sure you have three green enables right here. If you don't, do whatever they ask that could be holding your views back. Then if we come over to advanced sure is turned on. Let's start from the bottom. First, you need to make sure [02:24] this is turned on hype. Third-party training, have this turned off. Video quality enhancement, you want this on for both visual and audio. If we scroll up, you want to make sure that you have clips on. Under allow automatic dubbing, [02:37] turned on. And then if we scroll up a little bit more, audience, make sure this is no unless you are explicitly uploading content for children, like But for 99% of you, you're probably not [02:51] need to make sure that you understand who you're actually competing against on means or you don't know how to find those people, here's how you'll figure different ways that you could actually figure out exactly who your competitors [03:05] into your analytics and you click on audience right here, this should reveal to you exactly who your competitors are. If you scroll down, it'll show you channels your audience watches. Now, if these channels have nothing to do with [03:18] what you're posting about, what that means is that YouTube is classifying are probably all messed up or you've uploaded a bunch of content that your audience doesn't actually want to see or that's not what you're actually trying [03:31] There are three different tabs. This will show you everybody that's a that, if we come over here to what your audience watches, we could see there are other things under here. So you want to make sure that you're paying attention [03:44] to all of these. In addition to that, if we click on trends over here, this will here. It'll show us what people are actually searching for. We could click In addition to that, if we see new videos to inspire you, this will also [03:58] show us things that our audience is going to be interested in. And that is literally just coming over here and typing in things that your ideal audience might search for, like AI news. And then we could see all the different [04:10] Or if we come over here and type in ChatGPT, you could see all the other And you want to make sure that you are doing this constantly because you constantly want to know who's new on YouTube, who's up and coming in your [04:23] be paying attention to if there's another big creator that's now in your incredibly important for you making sure that you're actually creating the right viral. Everything I've shared with you up to this point in this video has been [04:38] setting up your page and setting up your strategy correctly. But here is where we Change number three is you need to make sure that you're now going through and using those competitors to help you create your posts and optimize your old [04:51] posts. In fact, you don't even have to do this manually because AI could do favorite way to do this is actually coming into a tool called Content Buddy right here and they have this AI Video Remixer tool, which is incredibly [05:06] allow you to do is actually take whatever videos are going viral. For example, if we come over here, we could see that this video right here is going viral and has gotten a lot of reach and we can actually just take the link to [05:18] this video, come over to Content Buddy, put this in here, click on remix, and and give us everything that we need to be able to recreate that viral video. And if you know who your competitors are and what your audience is watching, this [05:30] literally now gives you a script, gives you the title that you should use, gives you the description you could use, and even the tags. And now you have everything that you need to be able to create this viral video from one that [05:43] did really well. In addition to that, let's say that we have a video on our channel that didn't do as well as we wanted it to do. For example, if I come right here didn't do anywhere near as well as I would have wanted it to. What [05:56] I could actually do is grab the link for this. We could come back over here into the dashboard and what we're going to be able to do is come into performance right here, past post optimizer. I could put in exactly the URL for this video. [06:09] We could grab the title for this video, which is going to be right here. Come optimize and this is going to go through, grab the metadata for this post and it's going to tell us how we should change our title by giving us new [06:23] suggestions, how we should change our description right here and how we should change our tags and then we could go through and update all these things. back into the algorithm cuz it's going to have brand new metadata and this will [06:36] give us a chance to continue to get more views on YouTube from this post that's an older post. And the best part about Content Buddy is you can go to the with the 7-day free trial today. This tool is going to help you spend less [06:48] actually going viral on shorts and it allows you to take other people's viral shorts, turn them into viral shorts for yourself by recreating them. sure that you're actually focused on the right analytics. Let me explain. Now, in [07:03] terms of what analytics actually matter, I want to be very clear. Here I'm referring here specifically only to YouTube shorts. This does not work for long form also. So, if we come into the analytics of this video, we could see [07:16] two things are true. One, my state to watch is over 70%. That's the first you're doing. If you're not hitting 70% state to watch, it's because your title is messed up or your hook is messed up. Your hook being the first three seconds [07:30] of your video. Most people don't realize that the topic also ties into this a lot. So, if you're posting about a topic that a lot of people are interested in, In addition to that, we have this average reiteration number. You need to [07:42] make sure that this number is greater than the length of your video. So, we piece of content. If we come over to this piece of content, we see the same second shorter. That's fine. It's only because this video has gotten millions [07:56] least in the beginning, these things are going to be true because if these things aren't true in your content, you could literally do everything else right. You topic. You could have the best thumbnail. You could have the best [08:09] watch or the average view duration, it means you're not going to get the views you a video that flopped to prove to you that this is true. So, let's say I come over to this video right here, which admittedly did flop. If we come down [08:24] here, state to watch is 33% way too low. Average view duration is also way too low. Now again, this comes down to the hook that I added in my content, what I actually posted about, what the topic is, and then also what I did and what I [08:38] said in this video. This chart right here is really great to be able to figure out why people are dropping off, where people are dropping off. And that you're focused on is your packaging when it comes to YouTube Shorts because I [08:51] Now, the last thing I did want to emphasize here is how you need to make all of your videos. For example, we could see this one has a custom thumbnail, this one does, this one does, this one does, this one does, this one [09:05] does. And essentially, what I'm doing is this is how you do this. So, when you go could see that this has this little pencil icon. If you actually click on that, it's going to allow you to actually grab which frame you want from [09:19] your video to be your custom thumbnail. And you need to make sure that you are want to do is if you make a custom thumbnail outside of your video, you want to put it at like the last 0.5 seconds of the video. And then what you [09:31] do is just grab the slider, pull it to you to grab that point of the video in order to make it your thumbnail for the video. And if you implement this type of strategy, it's going to allow you to [09:44] videos are going to stand out way more when somebody goes to search for something. For example, if we come over here and we type in something like YouTube Shorts thumbnail, what you are going to notice is that if we come over [09:56] here, all of these different Shorts have these custom thumbnails. Or if we come over here and type in YouTube algorithm #shorts, and then we actually come under to notice that every single one of these [10:09] Shorts that's doing well has a custom thumbnail. This one does, this one does. If we scroll down, this one does, 4 million views, which is actually my you're doing this every single time if you want to get more views, not only [10:23] somebody's on YouTube and they're actually on browse features right here, Shorts actually get shown to them. The ones with the custom thumbnails are the you enjoyed this video and you want to learn exactly how YouTube Shorts [10:37] would strongly suggest you check out this video right here that walks you through exactly how it works. I'll see you over there.
