## Summary

The video is a developer announcement from Co-Carnage of Signis Cross, revealing that the early access launch of their game Emberville has been delayed from its original date to January 7th, 2027. The delay is attributed to critical issues and the team's desire to ensure a polished first impression, despite the game being technically playable. The developer also shares positive news about the game's demo performance at Steam NextFest.

### Key Points

- **Announcement of Delay** [00:02] — Co-Carnage announces that Emberville's early access launch is delayed to January 7th, 2027, just one day before the original release date.
- **Development Challenges** [00:17] — The team at Signis Cross has been integrating main features into the EA client, encountering numerous problems, with only two coders working on it.
- **First Impression Priority** [00:55] — The team emphasizes that there is only one first impression, and they want to ensure the early access launch is done properly, even if it means delaying.
- **Reasons for Delay** [01:21] — Critical issues and feedback from the demo (especially combat and controller feedback) made it impossible to launch the next day. The game would be incomplete and buggy otherwise.
- **Commitment to Quality** [02:18] — The developer admits the game could have been released 'probably okay,' but they want to do it 'as right as we possibly can,' hence the delay.
- **Demo Success at Steam NextFest** [03:01] — Emberville was one of the most played demos at Steam NextFest, and the demo will remain available and may receive updates until the new release date.
- **Apology and Future Vision** [03:32] — The developer apologizes for the delay but believes it is the right decision to deliver a better product and a stronger introduction to the game's journey toward 1.0.

things behind the scene, which is the reason this delay took so long to do. reason this delay took so long to do. And it is the kind of thing where there And it is the kind of thing where there are just a few critical issues that make
