[00:02] throws this massive wedding banquet for his son, sends out invites, and the guests, they just ignore [music] him. So, the king's like, "Fine." And sends his servants to invite literally everyone they can find. The hall fills
[00:15] up fast. But then, one guy shows up without the proper garment. And he gets [music] removed. Here's what Jesus is saying. God's inviting all of us, but we can't just show up however we want. We need genuine faith.
[00:31] We need transformed hearts. This isn't just any invite. Say yes to the king [music] today. Matthew 22:1-14. Jesus again in reply spoke to the chief priests and the elders of the people in parables saying, "The kingdom of heaven
[00:44] [music] a wedding feast for his son. He dispatched his servants to summon the refused [music] to come. A second time he sent other servants saying, 'Tell those invited, "Behold, I have prepared my banquet. My calves and
[01:00] [music] fattened cattle are killed, and everything is ready. Come to the feast." Some ignored [music] the invitation and went away. One to his farm, another to his business. The rest laid hold of his servants,
[01:13] mistreated them, and killed them. The king was enraged and sent his troops, their city. Then the king said to [music] his servants, "The feast is not worthy to come. Go out therefore [music] into the main roads and invite
[01:27] to the feast whomever you find." Show mine. streets and gathered all they found, bad and good alike, and the hall was filled to meet the guests, he saw a man there not dressed in a wedding garment. He
[01:43] you came [music] in here without a wedding garment?" But he was reduced to silence. Then the king said to his attendants, "Bind his hands and [music] outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth."
[01:57] grinding of teeth." Many are invited, but few are chosen.
