strategy video for you today. And in this video, we're going to be proving that 16 versus dealers 10 basic strategy says that we should hit this whereas a lot of people end up standing. Now, a couple of notes here. First off, if you
a few other hands, you might want to go check that video out. It was very wellreceived. In fact, it has some of the best comments I've ever had on this really good ideas of what you want to see next and kind of some ideas to
implement this. And so, if you want to add to that discussion, you can uh back to the other video and see what the comments were all about on there. So, we're going to keep some tallies today. But the overwhelming favorite for the
next hand, like I said, was a 16 versus a dealer's 10. Now, you had a few suggestions with how I do this. First off, you made a really good point that was the count can really determine what happens. And I absolutely agree with you
as a card counter. That's what this whole channel is about is card counting. whole channel is about is card counting. Um, a 16 especially, whether it is a actually make a different decision. That's called a deviation. If you don't
know about that, that's okay. But, um, in any positive running count, you're supposed to stand on this hand. But, basic strategy says that we should hit. and that's at zero and any count that is negative. Right? So, because the count
can really determine what happens here, we are going to add in a second hand. 16s. One where I hit doing what basic strategy says to do and one where I strategy says to do and one where I stand and um do kind of what maybe a
poppy might tend to do. Or if you are a ploppy and you're here just to reduce the house edge as much as possible, then I'm glad that you're here. All right? because we don't want to um let the casino take more than they should from
us. Okay. All right. So, with that said, they're both going to be here. I'm going the stands on this side, and what happens whether I win, lose, or push. And uh we can push when we hit, right? We cannot push when we stand because the

way better uh by hitting than I thought it was going to be. And by the way, I know several of you are going to say in the comments, "Well, a 100 hands was not enough." And yes, we did um each one a 100 times. But I agree, that's not
enough. If I were to do this um 10,000 times or a million times, the results probably would be different. That's why computer simulations are very important, and that's why I trust the math that the computer spits out. However, those of
kind of make a video that does this for you. And so, let's look at these results. It looks like um in both cases, you are very likely to lose, which I know we don't like to hear that. However, as that comment from earlier
said, you are likely to lose less if you play basic strategy. And we clearly saw that here. In fact, a push was a very big reason um why hitting is the better
thing to do. There was, I think, seven instances where we pushed with the dealer, which means we didn't lose our money. And when you have a 16 versus dealers 10, you like to not lose your money because 80 times when we went
against what basic strategy says by standing, we did lose our money and 20 times we won. So, um, I don't like those odds. I I don't like these odds either, but I do like them better than playing against basic strategy. So, you should
hit your 16 versus dealers 10 when that happens. Now, I did notice there was uh a streak, I think at the beginning where we were winning more by standing than
remember what I said at the very beginning of this video, that there is a deviation if you're a card counter to actually stand on your 16 versus 10. So, video back obviously and I wasn't counting cuz I was writing all this
down, but um I have a feeling that the count was probably positive then because that's what the deviation says to do is when the count turns positive, we should stand. Now, that's only true if you're a card counter. If you are not a card
counter, you might want to consider that and kind of check out some of the other resources I have on this channel. All right, I think I'm going to save the other video, which is a pair of nines versus a dealer seven. Or if you guys
