[00:00] Have you ever seen websites that claim you can get&nbsp; free products just for testing and reviewing them?&nbsp;&nbsp; I recently came across a platform called TryAndReview where brands supposedly send you products&nbsp;&nbsp; to test and all you have to do in return is&nbsp; to share your opinion. But does it actually&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:13] work or is it one of those platforms where it's&nbsp; almost impossible to get selected for anything? I&nbsp;&nbsp; decided to test it myself and in this video I will&nbsp; share all the details. In case you don't know,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:25] including things like service sites, get paid&nbsp; to platforms, and product testing opportunities&nbsp;&nbsp; like this one. And in this video, I'm going&nbsp; to show you exactly how TryAndReview works,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:37] how to sign up, what kind of products you can&nbsp; actually get, and some very important things&nbsp;&nbsp; you need to know before spending any time on it.&nbsp; Because while getting free products sounds great,&nbsp;&nbsp; platforms like this can sometimes be a&nbsp; bit different from what people expect. So,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:50] let's take a closer look at how try and review&nbsp; works and whether it's actually worth joining. So,&nbsp;&nbsp; let's start by going over who can join. And on the&nbsp; website, you can see in the top corner there's a&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:02] flag and you can choose your country. So, these&nbsp; are the countries it's available in. However, it's&nbsp;&nbsp; a little bit confusing because on the website it&nbsp; says join the largest reviewer community in Asia,&nbsp;&nbsp; but clearly it's not only for Asia. It also has&nbsp; all these other countries. But then some places on&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:17] platform it says it's available in 30 countries.&nbsp; Other places in FAQ section I found that it said&nbsp;&nbsp; it's 17 and on this list here it is 20. So it is&nbsp; a little bit confusing but definitely here in the&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:29] top corner that's where you can find the countries' platforms. So it seems to be these countries you&nbsp;&nbsp; can currently join from even though it is a little&nbsp; bit confusing to be honest. And you can just join&nbsp;&nbsp; for free. Just be aware that even before you&nbsp; join, this is something is quite unusual for&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:44] for a site like this. They have pop-up ads&nbsp; in the corner here. For example, activate&nbsp;&nbsp; your account. Three easy steps to start. This is&nbsp; actually an ad, really annoying ad because you&nbsp;&nbsp; probably think that, oh, this is how I need to get&nbsp; started. I really dislike they have these pop-ups&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:58] before you have even started. But anyways, just&nbsp; wanted to point that out. Other than that, just&nbsp;&nbsp; ignore it. You can click to join for free. Then&nbsp; you just need to fill out your profile and then&nbsp;&nbsp; you can get started. So let me now log in and show&nbsp; you a little bit more about what type of products&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:11] you can find here and how to potentially get&nbsp; them. So once you are inside you need to be aware&nbsp;&nbsp; that there are not only test here there's also&nbsp; products that you can review. So you can see all&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:24] the products here and these are also the type of&nbsp; products you potentially can get free samples for&nbsp;&nbsp; free products or these type of products you can&nbsp; potentially get. You can see food, baby health,&nbsp;&nbsp; bath and body fragrance all these different&nbsp; ones. But they would also like you to actually&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:37] leave reviews of them. Some of these different&nbsp; products if you have used them, not only if&nbsp;&nbsp; you have actually gotten them as free samples in&nbsp; here, but also if you have in general used them,&nbsp;&nbsp; you can come here and then leave reviews. There's&nbsp; not that many that have done it. Again, that&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:51] depends on your country, but it is something you&nbsp; can do. And it is also something that will help&nbsp;&nbsp; you potentially qualify for more tests you can&nbsp; participate in, more free products you can get.&nbsp;&nbsp; We'll talk a little bit more about that later, but&nbsp; let's first go over how you can find these tests&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:06] and how to apply. So, to find tests, you need to&nbsp; go to this test option. And in some countries,&nbsp;&nbsp; it just empty. And there's not even a notification&nbsp; where it says currently there are no tests. So,&nbsp;&nbsp; that's a little bit confusing. But you can&nbsp; see here, for example, I can just choose a&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:21] different country here. And then you can see&nbsp; it actually shows the tests that are there. So,&nbsp;&nbsp; then you can get an idea about which type of&nbsp; products or tests there are in some countries.&nbsp;&nbsp; But as you can see in some countries there are&nbsp; not always some. So it's a little bit limited&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:35] even though it says it's the one of the largest&nbsp; testing communities. So if there are none in&nbsp;&nbsp; your country there's nothing you can really do&nbsp; because it doesn't make sense to choose another&nbsp;&nbsp; country even though you can because they need to&nbsp; ship it to you. It doesn't make sense if you live&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:48] in the US to apply for a product test that is only&nbsp; available in the Philippines or reverse or the&nbsp;&nbsp; other way around all these things. But anyways,&nbsp; if you find one that is available in your country,&nbsp;&nbsp; you would need to then go here and apply. So just&nbsp; because there is one, it doesn't mean that you're&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:02] guaranteed to get this product. You need to go&nbsp; through this qualification survey and then wait.&nbsp;&nbsp; But you will not necessarily be told if you do&nbsp; not qualify. But in general, if you have not&nbsp;&nbsp; heard back from them within a week, then you&nbsp; can assume that you just did not qualify. But&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:17] you can apply for several at the same time. So if&nbsp; there are any products you in general think could&nbsp;&nbsp; be interesting, then just apply for as many as&nbsp; possible. And then if you're lucky, you will get&nbsp;&nbsp; chosen. But also, I mentioned that there are not&nbsp; that many tests available, but there are actually&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:31] something that you can do to potentially qualify&nbsp; for more tests. So, let's go over that next. So,&nbsp;&nbsp; to get a good chance of participating here, it's&nbsp; not enough to just go and apply for the test. They&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:43] want you to be active to qualify for more test.&nbsp; And what does that then mean? Well, it for example&nbsp;&nbsp; means to write product reviews. I talked about&nbsp; that just a little while ago there that you can go&nbsp;&nbsp; and find all these products. So it doesn't have to&nbsp; be products that you have gotten from them. They&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:57] expect you of course to leave reviews of the ones&nbsp; you get for free. But if you just come here and&nbsp;&nbsp; start leaving reviews, you are more active. That&nbsp; will give you better chances of qualifying for&nbsp;&nbsp; further tests. They do not say that it has to be&nbsp; a lot. They actually just recommend that it needs&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:12] to be at least three reviews per year. So that's&nbsp; not a lot, but of course you also need to be sure&nbsp;&nbsp; that it's actually products you have used. But in&nbsp; my opinion, it's not difficult to do. For example,&nbsp;&nbsp; even just a few per month if you really want&nbsp; to do this because that will also significantly&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:25] increase your chances. You can also upload photos&nbsp; and videos when you leave reviews. Uh you can&nbsp;&nbsp; complete surveys when they have them sometimes.&nbsp; And also in your profile, you can link your social&nbsp;&nbsp; media account. They say all this together will&nbsp; increase your chances of getting access to more&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:39] free tests. So it does require quite a bit of&nbsp; work to potentially get some of these products.&nbsp;&nbsp; So just keep that in mind. But also I know that&nbsp; many will maybe be thinking what about shipping&nbsp;&nbsp; then do I then have to pay is it one of those&nbsp; sites where you get a product for free but then&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:53] they charge a lot in shipping and all that. So&nbsp; let's just quickly clarify that also. So they&nbsp;&nbsp; talk about the shipping very clearly in the FAQ&nbsp; section and it says if you have been selected as&nbsp;&nbsp; a tester you will receive the item free of charge&nbsp; including delivery. And I really like that they&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:10] make that very clear. So, it's not one of these&nbsp; trick platforms that just end up charging you&nbsp;&nbsp; more for shipping than the products is actually&nbsp; worth. Sometimes they do have what they call buy&nbsp;&nbsp; and refund campaigns and that basically means that&nbsp; then you would have to buy a product and then test&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:25] it and then you will get the refund from them if&nbsp; you feel comfortable about that or not. That of&nbsp;&nbsp; course up to you to decide. But they sometimes&nbsp; do have that and that can give you more options.&nbsp;&nbsp; But overall, what you need to keep in mind, it's&nbsp; definitely can be a way to get some free products&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:40] once in a while, but it can be hard to qualify.&nbsp; It does require some effort and there are not that&nbsp;&nbsp; many options from what I have seen while testing&nbsp; it. But I would say if you like the type&nbsp;&nbsp; of products that you potentially can get here,&nbsp; why not sign up as an extra option, do not expect&nbsp;&nbsp; too much from it, but just apply once in a while&nbsp; if there's an interesting product for you. And&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:08] if you then get it, it's just a nice bonus. But&nbsp; do not just count on this one as the only one.&nbsp;&nbsp; If you want to earn online or if you want free&nbsp; samples or or something like that because it's&nbsp;&nbsp; just not enough for that, but as an extra one,&nbsp; if you don't have too high expectations, then&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:23] why not do it? It is free and they don't charge&nbsp; you for shipping and all that. But as mentioned,&nbsp;&nbsp; you should definitely make sure to use other&nbsp; platforms as well.
