[00:02] robot vacuums fix the biggest issues I kept running into again and again no matter which Robot vacuum I use seriously some of the things they can do seriously some of the things they can do just blew me away I can't wait to show [00:16] sponsoring this video okay the first issue I keep running into is this my robot vacuums get stuck right here on these side tables because of the frame on the bottom and getting stuck is a common [00:28] problem especially with door threshold between rooms but this new Robo Rock Q Revo curve can fix this with something that you've probably never seen before check this out it's crazy the wheels can individually extend lifting the entire [00:41] Robot vacuum higher in the air you know those cars with hydraulics that can go up and down or even the Cyber truck yeah this vacuum can do that it's like this cyber truck of robot vacuums and the reason it can do this is to get over big [00:55] bumps on the ground so I built a little obstacle course starting with a small speed bump and it handled it no problem next was a larger door threshold and at make it but then it recognized it and marked it on the map to remember it for [01:09] next time so I tried it again and this time it drove right over then I had to really test the limits with a massive threshold and it never broke a sweat vehicle acting like my little obstacle course was just fun so this feature is [01:25] called adapt lift and it's really smart because it adjusts for the threshold sometimes it it would just lift the front wheel or other times just the back or all three to clear it the chassis can lift to overcome thresholds up to 4 cm [01:38] which might not seem like a lot but an inch and a half for a robot vacuum is the industry and what's really cool is that this can help the robot vacuum deal with carpet normally mid to high pile carpets are a no no for robot vacuums [01:52] but not the Q Revo curve it raises high enough to still vacuum without clogging so it was easily able to vacuum this front rug when lifted up and when it was lower it could barely move and that's why I normally block this area off from [02:05] the robot vacuum at first I wasn't sure if this was enabled since I couldn't find it in the settings but then I realized you have to enable it for each specific section of carpet or rug it's nice that you can dial it in though [02:17] especially since I don't need it to lift up on my living room rug now back to those side tables which have been my robot vacuums Nemesis in the past the qevo curve never got stuck here it would lift itself up and figure out a way to [02:30] get out no matter how many times I try to trick it this is so awesome I'm glad Reed why don't you just block off that little area on the map so it doesn't get stuck well I've tried that but my kids move those tables and the vacuum still [02:45] gets stuck so this completely avoids that and hearing it little Hydraulics really cool and the dream of having a robot vacuum that can go up the stairs robot vacuum that can go up the stairs just got one step closer it's exciting [02:59] despite my robot vacuums being mostly hands off long hair from people or pets can still get tangled in the brushes and somehow I'm the one that ends up cleaning it off the brushes and I have the shortest hair in the family yeah [03:12] tell me how that makes any sense well the qevo curve completely re-engineered both the main brush and side brush to fix this problem they call it the Dual anti-tangle system and the main brush is now split into two instead of the hair [03:25] being pushed towards the spots where it can get stuck these brushes are designed to push the hair the other direction now the side brush and the main brushes push all the hair towards the center thanks to the new design Robo Rock claims this [03:38] has a 0% tangle rate and wo that's a high bar so let's test this out I asked my test subjects to put all their loose hair for a day in this bag instead of throwing it on the ground okay I didn't need that much but thanks I guess I [03:53] place some on the carpet and on the tile and let the qevo do it sing all right moment of truth wow for how much hair there was this is looking really good there are zero hairs on the side brush which is usually the biggest culprit and [04:07] looking at the middle brush and there is nothing what I thought it was going to be like all the other tangle-free brushes that we've seen in the past but this is the real deal and looking inside the dust bin it was full of hair and I [04:20] kept checking throughout testing this vacuum and every time the brushes were empty and the bin had hair it looks like my days of cleaning hair off the brushes my days of cleaning hair off the brushes are behind me [04:34] enough for my carpets it's been adequate but I still use a stick vacuum for a deeper clean well the Q Revo changes that it has an insane suction power of 18,500 pascals and just earlier this year we were all impressed with the [04:50] 10,000 pascals on the S8 maxv Ultra so don't leave your small animals and babies on the ground when this vacuum is roaming around I'm kidding the vacuum actually recog izes pets and will turn on quiet mode when it's nearby so it [05:02] doesn't scare them but babies they're fair game now actually I wish the robot vacuum could lock onto our baby while she's eating and just follow her around drops it would clean it up so much faster but anyways the higher suction [05:17] power does a great job cleaning and it sucked up basically anything I threw at it and when it's on carpet the vacuum automatically turns to Max suction power for a deep clean and surprisingly with all the extra suction power it's not [05:29] loud at all and when it's on balanc mode which is what I normally use around my house it's even quieter than the S8 Max V [05:44] video which I think is going to surprise a lot of you since this is a qevo it has the Dual spinning mops and it does a fantastic job they spin at 200 RPM which is the same as last year's qevo but this time it also has the flexi arm on the m [06:00] that way it can swing out next to the edges and not miss any spots if you're serious about mopping the Dual mops and the qevo are probably my favorite for flexi arm for the side brush too that extends when it's in a corner pair that [06:13] with a crazy high suction power for carpets and well any cleaning I used to do with the stick vacuum is basically gone and I'm fine with that okay so this next issue might seem like a weird one but it's all about a [06:28] door the door to our laundry room and what does that have to do with the robot vacuum well we keep our Robot vacuum in the laundry room and sometimes the door gets closed making it impossible for the vacuum to go around and clean this is [06:42] clearly an issue but how does the qevo curve solve this well we mainly keep it in the laundry room because Ally doesn't like the look of it it's like the leg lamp for some reason she doesn't want to keep it in the main part of our house I [06:55] don't understand anyways the cevo curve gets its name from the shape of the dock it's kind of futuristic and clean looking see why I called it the Cyber truck of robot vacuums but I like this way more the whole robot vacuum goes [07:08] into the dock instead of sticking out more like the traditional design so it's basically hidden with both of the water tanks and dust bag under the lid and the dock is when emptying the dust bin emptying [07:32] so that must be helping reduce the noise you know what this means it means higher spouse approval factor which means there's a higher chance I could have instead up hidden way back in the laundry room I got a solid maybe from [07:48] Aly so there is hope not only that as a bonus it actually stops dust from settling on the robot vacuum and this might not seem like a big deal but it's just less cleaning you have to do for the sensors nice but if you're not a fan [08:01] of the rounded look there's also the cevo edge as you guessed it it has edges instead of Curves on the dock but the vacuums are identical except for the different docks both docks have all the bells and whistles to automate and [08:15] maintain the robot vacuum it empties the dust bin refills the mop tank on the vacuum scrubs the mop with hot water and cleans and dries it with warm air not only that but just like the S8 Max V Ultra if the dock senses the mops are [08:28] extra dirty it will rub them even more and the dock cleans itself so it doesn't leave behind dirt and grime I just love all the tech in these like a big deal at first but let me tell you it's been super annoying lately we [08:44] when everyone leaves the house and it's one of my favorite automations ever because we leave and then come home to clean floors we don't see the vacuum run and it's like magic but there's an issue that throws a wrench in the entire thing [08:59] before a robot vacuum can finish cleaning the house it has to top up on battery it can't quite make it on a single charge and sometimes we come home charging back up and after it's charged up enough it continues cleaning to [09:14] finish the last section but it usually does this at the worst time possible like at baby's nap time well here's the good news the qevo curb has a much bigger battery than the S8 Max V Ultra giving it a whole extra hour of runtime [09:28] 4 hours and instead of three this allows the vacuum to finish cleaning before running out of battery so it's way less annoying problem solved the Q Revo curve is also packed with lots of high-end features of a robo Rock vacuum it can [09:41] avoid objects so it doesn't get stuck and there's a camera on board to help identify objects and it did a great job avoiding everything I tested it with you control the vacuum in your house to check on things like your pets Robo rock [09:54] is very compatible with smart home systems and they also announced that matter coming as an update later there are a couple of things missing from this one compared to the S8 Max V Ultra which I'll go over at the end but I think the [10:07] I'll go over at the end but I think the qevo curve packs a massive punch Between the Wheels extending less hair Tangles higher suction power and a clean looking dock it might be my new favorite so as you can see the qo curve solves a lot of [10:20] my issues with robot vacuums but there is one more new Robo rock that I want to quickly show you it's called The qevo Slim because it's shorter than most other robot vacuums this solves one last issue that I've had and I know many [10:32] other people have too finding a robot vacuum that fits under furniture for example our TV stand is too low for a normal Robot vacuum to fit underneath because of the spinning liar sensor on top to map out our house [10:46] well the qevo slim doesn't have the spinning liar on top so it can fit under our TV stand easily what's great is that this vacuum can still map out our house with dual light solid state liar it's using 3D time of flight to scan the [11:00] environment as it goes around so it's very similar to the traditional lar it mapped out my house just fine but it was slightly different because the sensors are only in the front and back so the vacuum would have to turn side to side [11:12] to see everything but besides that it was really good this is also being used to avoid objects and that worked really well too I would say it was slightly better than the qevo curve in object avoidance because it kept a safer [11:24] was able to scan the objects from further away which is way better the slim also has a camera on board for remote control video calls and all that one big thing to note the qevo slim does not have many of the features of the qo [11:39] curve mentioned earlier the wheels do not extend the dock looks normal and it has the Dual roller brush instead of the one that's divided into two but it does have concealed scrapers to cut the hair so that's cool basically if you want a [11:51] really good Robot vacuum that can fit better under Furniture then you have a really great option now and I know there are so many different Robo Rock options now it can definitely be confusing so let me quickly break down the [12:03] differences between the qevo curve and the S8 Max V Ultra the sat8 max V Ultra is the flagship so it has a few extra features one there's a detergent tank in the dock to automatically add detergent to the clean water with the Q Revo curve [12:16] you would have to manually add detergent if you want to use it the second extra feature is the ability to sense an extra dirty spot on the floor and automatically clean that spot more than normal before moving on it can also lift [12:28] the mop 20 mm instead of 10 mm on the qevo besides that has a high-speed Sonic mopping pad instead of the two spinning mops reactive AI 2.0 and a slightly larger water tank on the vacuum at 100 ml versus 80 ml those seem to be the [12:44] main extra features of the sa Max V Ultra here are the extra features of the qevo curve there's a higher Max suction power a bigger battery larger dust spin can extend the wheels for door thresholds and carpet and has a [12:59] tangle-free side brush with dual divide main brush so really come down to what everything linked down below so you can check it out Robot vacuum Tech is these new features will solve the problems I've run into before and I'm so [13:14] excited to see what the future holds thanks for watching hey that's a really cool robot vacuum oh thanks it's kind of like the Cyber truck of robot vacuums cuz it can raise and lower oh so it's like a 10 [13:28] raise and lower oh so it's like a 10 Canon Wheels what no well is the acceleration pedal going to fall off no how do you even know all this is it how do you even know all this is it bulletproof H let's find out
