[00:29] took a while. I'm really hard on myself but um I think it was like I had another creator tell me, "Wait till you hit a million followers." And I remember being at like 100,000 and being like, "Oh, oh I'm never quitting my job. Never. Like
[00:43] this is going to take forever." But I mean I stuck with it for like 2 3 years like, "All right, I'm going to leave my job." thought about creators that you know was just like a complete not true anymore?
[00:55] videos. I think I went through a period where I like I did actually hire like a like cameras. don't need the fanciest stuff. I would just say have a good mic and lighting
[01:09] >> Is there any advice you got when you started that was really helpful to you? named Victoria Paris. I'll never forget this. She said, "You don't have to be creative, you have to be consistent." And I think that really stuck with me is
[01:23] that consistency because I would never have found my niche in like nostalgia if I wasn't showing up every single day. Even the days I was sobbing on my bed being like, "I'm going to give up. Like no one no one's watching my stuff. No
[01:35] one cares." Like I just kept going every single day cuz I was like I got to get video now? >> I think like 17 million or so. Like like even 10 people watching is like a coffee shop and then like 50 watching is
[01:50] like a nightclub and like 1,000 watching is a pretty good theater and then like >> Sometimes you have to like stop and remember that though because it's always it's a comparison game. I also feel like, you know, you feel like you hit
[02:03] person. So, I think also another piece of like I don't you didn't ask for advice, but also just like comparison is like the thief of joy. So, just trying to really stop comparing against and sometimes that that video that didn't
[02:16] hit the millions those that 1,000 views are new people that are coming in. So, >> Truly. >> Yeah, absolutely.
