[0:10] yesterday. But with that being said,
[0:12] there's been a bit of a situation and
[0:14] something that I kind of wanted to give
[0:15] an update on because I covered this
[0:17] information a few days ago. You'll
[0:19] probably recall me talking about this
[0:20] petition that was basically trying to
[0:22] force Shift Up in Stellar Blade Blood
[0:25] Reign to censor Eevee as a character.
[0:27] And the petition title was protect
[0:29] against sexualization of youthful
[0:31] characters in stellar blade blood reign.
[0:33] And so when I did my video last time,
[0:35] there was around like 50 signatures. And
[0:36] as you can see now, it's at 70
[0:38] signatures of the mentally ill. However,
[0:40] I also covered within that same video a
[0:42] few days ago that there was a counter
[0:45] petition that basically got a lot of uh
[0:47] you know, actual signatures to kind of
[0:49] counter this uh procensorship petition.
[0:52] And I want to show you just how much
[0:54] it's evolved since then. This is the
[0:56] petition to counter the censorship
[0:59] petition. Almost 4,000
[1:02] signatures.
[1:04] I love democracy. I really love
[1:07] democracy so much because if there is
[1:11] never like there's never been a better
[1:13] showcasing of just the complete shutdown
[1:16] of those that scream they want to censor
[1:19] characters, they want to censor gaming.
[1:21] This is a really good indication that
[1:24] the people that scream so loud that
[1:26] things are problematic, things are uh,
[1:28] you know, turning female characters into
[1:30] sex objects and all sorts of stuff like
[1:32] that, they are the vocal loud minority
[1:36] and the silent majority and the majority
[1:38] are individuals like this. The data
[1:40] proves itself. the fact that this
[1:43] information and this this petition has
[1:45] been covered by multiple content
[1:47] creators talking about it. And even
[1:49] then, after thousands upon thousands,
[1:51] tens of thousands of views talking about
[1:53] this petition and it still only has 70
[1:56] signatures at this point in time after
[1:58] almost a week, but the other petition
[2:00] almost has reached 4K. I think it is
[2:02] indication enough that yeah, people are
[2:05] tired of censorship. People are tired of
[2:08] these loud individuals that want to just
[2:10] censor everything because it makes them
[2:12] uncomfortable because they cannot
[2:14] separate fiction from reality because
[2:16] they think that Eevee for some reason
[2:19] looks like a kid. When as I've said many
[2:21] times already, if you think Eevee looks
[2:23] like a kid, you need to get yourself
[2:25] checked in and to a mental institution,
[2:27] take your meds or whatever because there
[2:29] is something inherently wrong with you
[2:31] if you think you see a real living
[2:32] breathing kid from this image. But with
[2:34] that being said though, I just more or
[2:36] less wanted to showcase an update to
[2:39] everything that's been going on with
[2:40] this and that yeah, I feel like the data
[2:43] here is just indication that Shift Up is
[2:46] in good hands that people are rallying
[2:48] behind Shift Up, the CEO, the character
[2:50] design and everything and they are just
[2:53] done with the screeching Karens, people
[2:56] that just want to completely censor it.
[2:58] And you know, as I commented on, one of
[3:00] the main individuals that were kind of
[3:01] advocating and pushing this to begin
[3:04] with was Yorch. It still makes me very
[3:06] sad just to see the spiral from this
[3:08] individual because, you know, I I'm I'm
[3:11] just going to say it. The man I've had
[3:13] pleasant conversations with him in the
[3:14] past. He is someone that has even
[3:16] defended me in the past. And so it is
[3:19] really sad to see an individual that I
[3:20] thought was like very anti-censorship
[3:23] that would fight for the true freedom of
[3:25] expression within artwork would just
[3:27] kind of turn coat so quickly and want to
[3:30] censor gaming. It's just like it's the
[3:33] horseshoe fury that you push so far on
[3:35] one side that you become the very thing
[3:38] that you are fighting against. And that
[3:39] that's basically what it feels like that
[3:41] Yorch became. And it makes me just so
[3:43] sad because I have nothing against the
[3:45] guy, but I can't defend his recent
[3:47] statements on being even happy that, you
[3:49] know, Shift Up was being reported to
[3:51] payment processors that like for
[3:53] instance they were trying to get payment
[3:54] processors to debank and deplatform
[3:57] Shift Up in Stellar Blade. I can't
[3:59] support that. It's legitimately just
[4:01] insane to see. And the crazy thing after
[4:03] the recent videos I made talking about
[4:05] the subject, the man actually has
[4:06] unfollowed me. I'm not upset about it,
[4:08] but you know, it's clear that he's not
[4:10] happy with me covering the situation and
[4:12] being against him. Go figure. But, uh,
[4:14] yeah, he's even unfollowed me because of
[4:16] the entire situation. Now anyways with
[4:19] that though I just think that the data
[4:21] is proof in of itself that yeah the it's
[4:25] a very small loud individuals that
[4:28] screech the most and that if there is
[4:30] not bots involved like bots like you
[4:32] know liking up a post with almost a
[4:35] million likes or something you can
[4:37] actually see truly how many real people
[4:40] are on one side or the other. And I
[4:42] mean, obviously this isn't a good sample
[4:44] data of showcasing every single fan and
[4:46] everything, but I think that with how
[4:48] much coverage this situation has gotten,
[4:51] there would be at the very least
[4:52] individuals that would be pro censorship
[4:53] that would be voting on this more. And
[4:55] the fact that, like I said, hasn't even
[4:56] reached 100 signatures, I think really
[4:59] does showcase just how bad this actually
[5:02] is, how bad like uh you know, their
[5:05] their stance is, and that nobody agrees
[5:07] with them whatsoever. I actually
[5:10] appreciate this. just seeing this type
[5:12] of stuff. But uh yeah, I I I kind of
[5:14] wanted to cover this to give a brief
[5:15] update because I felt like this was very
[5:17] important that um complete shutdown
[5:20] shuts down the calls for censorship. I
[5:23] hope the CEO sees this that the real
[5:25] fans are going to be supporting this and
[5:28] it's just a few angry Karens and
[5:29] individuals that uh just want to destroy
[5:32] gaming and art and fiction writing and
[5:34] stuff because they can't separate
[5:35] fiction from reality. But I will leave
