Forgive me if I look a little bit
sweaty. I just got done from hiking and
all that. So yeah, I probably look a
little bit gross. But uh at least I'm
not living in the UK. I could have no AC
unit right now. I'm not joking. This is
actual real news that came out
yesterday. But with that being said,
there's been a bit of a situation and
something that I kind of wanted to give
an update on because I covered this
information a few days ago. You'll
probably recall me talking about this
petition that was basically trying to
force Shift Up in Stellar Blade Blood
Reign to censor Eevee as a character.
And the petition title was protect
against sexualization of youthful
characters in stellar blade blood reign.
And so when I did my video last time,
there was around like 50 signatures. And
as you can see now, it's at 70
signatures of the mentally ill. However,
I also covered within that same video a
few days ago that there was a counter
petition that basically got a lot of uh
you know, actual signatures to kind of
counter this uh procensorship petition.
And I want to show you just how much
it's evolved since then. This is the
petition to counter the censorship
petition. Almost 4,000
signatures.
I love democracy. I really love
democracy so much because if there is
never like there's never been a better
showcasing of just the complete shutdown
of those that scream they want to censor
characters, they want to censor gaming.
This is a really good indication that
the people that scream so loud that
things are problematic, things are uh,
you know, turning female characters into
sex objects and all sorts of stuff like
that, they are the vocal loud minority
and the silent majority and the majority
are individuals like this. The data
proves itself. the fact that this
information and this this petition has
been covered by multiple content
creators talking about it. And even
then, after thousands upon thousands,
tens of thousands of views talking about
this petition and it still only has 70
signatures at this point in time after
almost a week, but the other petition
almost has reached 4K. I think it is
indication enough that yeah, people are
tired of censorship. People are tired of
these loud individuals that want to just
censor everything because it makes them
uncomfortable because they cannot
separate fiction from reality because
they think that Eevee for some reason
looks like a kid. When as I've said many
times already, if you think Eevee looks
like a kid, you need to get yourself
checked in and to a mental institution,
take your meds or whatever because there
is something inherently wrong with you
if you think you see a real living
breathing kid from this image. But with
that being said though, I just more or
less wanted to showcase an update to
everything that's been going on with
this and that yeah, I feel like the data
here is just indication that Shift Up is
in good hands that people are rallying
behind Shift Up, the CEO, the character
design and everything and they are just
done with the screeching Karens, people
that just want to completely censor it.
And you know, as I commented on, one of
the main individuals that were kind of
advocating and pushing this to begin
with was Yorch. It still makes me very
sad just to see the spiral from this
individual because, you know, I I'm I'm
just going to say it. The man I've had
pleasant conversations with him in the
past. He is someone that has even
defended me in the past. And so it is
really sad to see an individual that I
thought was like very anti-censorship
that would fight for the true freedom of
expression within artwork would just
kind of turn coat so quickly and want to
censor gaming. It's just like it's the
horseshoe fury that you push so far on
one side that you become the very thing
that you are fighting against. And that
that's basically what it feels like that
Yorch became. And it makes me just so
sad because I have nothing against the
guy, but I can't defend his recent
statements on being even happy that, you
know, Shift Up was being reported to
payment processors that like for
instance they were trying to get payment
processors to debank and deplatform
Shift Up in Stellar Blade. I can't
support that. It's legitimately just
insane to see. And the crazy thing after
the recent videos I made talking about
the subject, the man actually has
unfollowed me. I'm not upset about it,
but you know, it's clear that he's not
happy with me covering the situation and
being against him. Go figure. But, uh,
yeah, he's even unfollowed me because of
the entire situation. Now anyways with
that though I just think that the data
is proof in of itself that yeah the it's
a very small loud individuals that
screech the most and that if there is
not bots involved like bots like you
know liking up a post with almost a
million likes or something you can
actually see truly how many real people
are on one side or the other. And I
mean, obviously this isn't a good sample
data of showcasing every single fan and
everything, but I think that with how
much coverage this situation has gotten,
there would be at the very least
individuals that would be pro censorship
that would be voting on this more. And
the fact that, like I said, hasn't even
reached 100 signatures, I think really
does showcase just how bad this actually
is, how bad like uh you know, their
their stance is, and that nobody agrees
with them whatsoever. I actually
appreciate this. just seeing this type
of stuff. But uh yeah, I I I kind of
wanted to cover this to give a brief
update because I felt like this was very
important that um complete shutdown
shuts down the calls for censorship. I
hope the CEO sees this that the real
fans are going to be supporting this and
it's just a few angry Karens and
individuals that uh just want to destroy
gaming and art and fiction writing and
stuff because they can't separate
fiction from reality. But I will leave
