[00:02] the way it's grown over the years, you have believers, you don't have believers, you know, whatever it is, but it's a big deal. >> Attention crypto holders, breaking news. President Trump says crypto is a big [00:16] deal as he calls for Congress to pass the Clarity Act. Right now, Clarity has a 60% [music] chance of passing this month. >> I'm at 60% chance that this will pass. >> This is the final chance for this to [00:30] move forward. Of course, [music] in the same interview where Trump says that crypto needs to be number one in America, he is facing questions on how much himself and his family has made in crypto. 1.4 billion in 2025 alone. [00:46] Curious what you think about Trump talking about crypto here. Do you think for crypto? >> The way I view crypto is a little differently. We have to be at the top, otherwise China's going to take it over. [01:00] Like for instance, AI, we're leading substantially in AI over China and everybody else. I mean, we're leading. When I was with President Xi 3 weeks ago, he greeted me me and his his first words were literally were, "Wow, you've [01:14] really done a great job. You've really" cuz this country was dead. We had a dead in the world. And the way I look at AI or the way I look at crypto is if we're not going to do it, China's going to get it. Most [01:27] somebody else. And I want to It's a big industry. Crypto, you can call it an industry, but it's a big deal. it and the way it's grown over the years, [01:41] believers, you know, whatever it is, but it's a big deal. And anything we do, I want to be number one and and we're number one in crypto and >> And the disclosure to week, the amount [01:56] of money that that doing the family made in crypto, it was an an outsize number. I I was just saying, did you were you in know about how the crypto ventures? So >> way, I could know about it. >> I That's what I said. [02:09] >> So, as explained by Bloomberg Intelligence here, we are truly in the final stretch of whether they're going to be able to pass Clarity Act or not. Surprisingly, Bloomberg Intelligence is is giving [music] this a 60% chance. [02:24] They have just submitted a new version of Clarity that they hope will pass, and it's going to go to a vote either way, he says, but apparently ethics might be up to par, and now they're just worried about other banking issues. Listen to [02:36] >> What is the most significant change [music] from this updated draft compared it meaningfully address Democratic [music] concerns like ethics or conflicts of interest? >> We think it does on the ethics side, but [02:50] more work done on the law enforcement side, aka the bank uh you know, bank provisions [music] that essentially allows you to do know your customer Bank Now, this text will come out over the 4th of July weekend. Senate returns on [03:04] be 2 weeks' [music] worth of debate, and we do think that there's going to be a not. Now, I'm at 60% chance [music] that this will pass. I may be out of consensus here, but ultimately, you know, this is going to be the final [03:17] line. If it [music] doesn't, then we see August recess, and I think it's going to just essentially slip and not pass during this congressional session. So, a it through. [03:30] >> And yet, Michael Saylor is still the boogeyman of this bear market as many of his peers in tech are questioning, is this guy losing it? With just how combative he is with this Channel 4 interviewer. Now, I've interviewed [03:46] Saylor quite a few times, and you need to give him room to answer the question. You know, he does want to really explain his answers and and this channel for interviewer seems to kind of want to play ping pong with him. Now, as far as [04:01] is Sailor losing it, I don't think he's losing it. I think people are looking at him with a very sour taste in their mouth and the fact is people feel this way about him because Bitcoin is bottoming. But nonetheless, watch how [04:15] this interview heats up. >> The idea of economic immortality or economic sovereignty so that your family is [music] is so that your family is [music] is economically secure. That's a very [04:28] compelling idea. Social security >> is very [music] compelling for >> immortality is the basis of religion. Economic immortality is the basis >> What happened last year? What happened with the price last year? [04:42] >> down, but it's irrelevant because the point is it's going up and double the triple the rate of the S&P over the long term. [music] Because it's economically superior. >> People shouldn't panic if it loses 50% [04:55] winter? >> way to think of it is people shouldn't >> way to think of it is people shouldn't invest some in a volatile capital asset. If you want to make a capital investment in anything, if you need the money in [05:08] credit investor. >> But it But although you're going down down this But I just want to ask >> If you're going to ask me the question, you got to listen to the answer. The point really is Bitcoin is the world's [05:23] >> [music] >> It's 21 million blocks. It's the cyber Manhattan. So, all of the people in the world that in cyberspace, they don't trust the government, [05:36] trust >> You're a company. You represent the to listen to [music] the answer? >> And then this is when it really starts to ramp up. She brings up quantum to Sailor and it is very important to [05:50] Sailor to shut the quantum thing down. >> Even though 10 million companies will come and go and 10 billion people will come and go in 500 years and the Bitcoin [music] still holds its economic value. >> Well, then unless quantum destroys that [06:05] >> The entire quantum thesis is maybe someone will invent a better computer. we get to quantum >> If you're going to ask me these >> I before we get to >> Right? Because it's like [06:18] that like you're being offensive right now to do this. Like uh it's literally a fantasy. You fantasize like [music] the tooth fairy might actually come out of the clouds in 37 years with magical wands and wave them at you [06:34] >> I hope she's not coming after my teeth. >> destroy your house. Uh it's like, okay, yeah, well, maybe the tooth fairy will come and dematerialize my house, but I'm still going to have the house cuz I don't really think it's that likely. [06:47] >> Is it the proletariat that benefits from Bitcoin's expanse or is it people who have very big shares? People like you. >> Did I not just point out that I have 55 [06:59] million beneficiaries? It's a technology and million people, but there's no reason why it shouldn't touch 5 billion people. >> I think people are just really mad at Sailor. They're trying to make him a [07:14] boogeyman because Bitcoin is bottoming and this is something that CZ kind of and this is something that CZ kind of talks about. CZ says the Sailor FUD is peaking right now, but in his opinion, Sailor is a net positive for the [07:28] industry, although I guess he doesn't understand stretch. He told Sailor he it. >> Michael is not some guy who's just going to go out there and like, you know, make a fake uh scammy product. Um I think uh [07:42] my my my um he he's a he's a he's a reputable guy. Um, he's a he's a he's a Bitcoin die hard. Uh and he believes uh he he and I both believe Bitcoin uh long over over the long run will will will do [07:54] >> But short-term volatility is very high. So, I don't know how that affects those >> Uh well, I understand he hosts a lot of dinners with different people and and he takes his time to to explain to them. So, Michael gives CZ a call and [08:07] >> No, no, he he did spend 15-20 minutes uh and and at the time I thought I understood it, but when I look back, I don't really understand. But I also think what you said is really important. [08:19] He does spend the time to educate people about Bitcoin, which is a huge um which >> It's a net positive, for sure. >> It's a he's definitely a net positive. So, I think right now Bitcoin's down um and everyone's like not happy and they [08:32] will they will find places to vent. And he he unfortunately right now is that Um at different times I was that vent for a little bit uh here and there as well. It just happens. >> My name is Aaron. This is Altcoin Daily. [08:44] keeping you informed on the entire crypto market. When risk appetite for crypto comes back, Ethereum is going to skyrocket. Ethereum is going to lead the way, in my opinion. And I think Joseph [08:59] Chellom here on the Unchained podcast, he's former BlackRock. Now, he does the Ethereum treasury company. He really articulates why a lot of cryptos are back, including Solana, [09:14] but Ethereum is really going to lead the way, and this is his thesis, and I tend Again, subscribe to Altcoin Daily and >> I think Solana plays a really important role and will have a swim lane. [09:29] markets use case, and I just want to start with facts, I'm you know me, I'm the most optimistic, positive person in this industry. I will not fund other [09:41] people, but I'll share facts. Look at the scoreboard. The Ethereum community the scoreboard. The Ethereum community has more than 50% of all stablecoin uh settlement and activity on it relative to any other chain. I think 10x [09:54] relative to any other chain. I think 10x Solana tokenization, it's over 55% and my guess it is it will grow. And then in the DeFi land, DeFi was built on Ethereum largely in the early days. And if you talk about high-quality DeFi, [10:09] borrowing, lending, and swaps, it's dominated on Ethereum by the Aaves and the Morpheuses of the world. So, I think each one of these chains is going to offer something that's unique. I just happen to think that in capital markets [10:22] where you want a decentralized player that's never gone down, where you're not having vendor lock-in, and you actually have liquidity, and I mean real transactions, not transactions happening off-chain that you then represent [10:36] on-chain, Ethereum is a clear winner. We need to get our narrative right, and I think this past 10 days with these two announcements are turning the corner on has the license to win. We just need to tell the story and make it easier for [10:51] institutions to choose the Ethereum ecosystem, but it has all the characteristics that are winning. That's my honest, straightforward opinion. It's inertia and storytelling.
