[03:15] just do a female voiceover newest arrivals and it's going to show you all of the girls that don't have any work right they don't have any reviews they need work they're looking for work and experience on the platform so now ten
[03:28] dollars for a hundred words is on the extreme low end price for voice over work he wants you to offer a payment that is so below rock bottom it is melting into magma He suggests making this offer to 10 people because he knows
[03:43] nine people will just reject it immediately he is hoping that there is at least one person so desperate or so gullible who doesn't know their own gullible who doesn't know their own worth who will accept your ridiculously
[03:58] low offer voice acting and voice over work are skilled occupations just in terms of human decency capable should be paid the value of their work however
[04:10] even if you are the worst kind of person in the world the VA Market is a competitive one offering such under Market rates is going to ensure that the people with talent and equipment to produce good VA work
[04:26] are going to shift to better paying jobs you are guaranteeing that you're going to get low quality voice over so now that you have poorly recorded voiceover based on a mangled script Ryan's next step is to take it to an editor He
[04:43] suggests that you offer the princely sum of twenty dollars for a 10 minute video a video editor so again we're going to search for a video editor on Fiverr using the same tactics budget is going to be twenty dollars this time since
[04:58] it's a little bit more technical now I am still learning a video editing and I will admit my process requires me to do a lot of extra work in the Motion Graphics that are more straightforward edit wouldn't need it takes me on
[05:13] average about eight hours of work to make five minutes of video so he is make five minutes of video so he is expecting someone to make about 16 hours expecting someone to make about 16 hours of skilled technical labor for Less than
[05:27] a quarter of the U.S federal minimum wage no editor worth their jog wheel is ever going to bother putting effort into finding and creating visuals that will enhance and support a scripted narrative for such a low paying job what they are
[05:44] going to do is grab a library full of vaguely appropriate stock footage then vaguely appropriate stock footage then hit the insert random b-roll footage hit the insert random b-roll footage button until they reach the required run
[05:58] time after you underpay the thumbnail artist you will then upload this degraded telephone game version of a successful video to YouTube where it's going to compete with the original higher quality video an original video
[06:14] that already has an established viewer base now perhaps just perhaps this strategy succeeds perhaps you're able to sucker 1 000 people into subscribe
[06:26] driving to your poorly scripted badly voice acted and clumsibly edited video voice acted and clumsibly edited video and get the 4 000 hours of watch time that you require now you can apply for monetization and there you will hit into
[06:41] the next hurdle one that Ryan doesn't tell you about YouTube's monetization tell you about YouTube's monetization rules on repetitious and reused content here are some of the examples that YouTube says that they will not monetize
[06:57] under its repetitious content rules content that exclusively features content that exclusively features readings of other materials that you did not create similar repetitive content or mindless content with low educational
[07:11] mindless content with low educational value commentary or narrative templated mass produced or programmatically generated content but that's not all generated content but that's not all here are YouTube's rules against reused
[07:24] content reuse content refer refers to channels that repurpose someone else's content without adding significant original commentary or educational value taking someone else's content making minimal changes and calling it your own
[07:41] original work would be violations of this guideline it's almost like YouTube recognizes that left unchecked this type of low effort content would flood the of low effort content would flood the platform and make YouTube as a whole a
[07:56] less attractive place for viewers even legitimate channels sometimes have trouble convincing YouTube that they are not making reused or repetitious content
[08:08] however the legitimate channels can defend themselves by showing evidence of the process they use to make videos If you showed YouTube that the only research you did was ripping off another YouTuber's content they would reject
[08:23] YouTuber's content they would reject your channel immediately if you have for your channel immediately if you have for some reason set your life on having a monetized YouTube channel but strangely also have no desire to make YouTube
