[00:01] had lots of gaming laptops. I've never liked any of them. Here's why. They're which would be fine, but the battery dies really fast, which means they have to be plugged in all the time anyway. They sound like a jet engine even when [00:14] some reason, every time I try to turn it if I fully charged it last time I used it. It's dead. Origin PC and Microsoft wanted me to try their new Ion 18X, which has an RTX 5090 in it, and Intel [00:30] Ultra 9 275HX. Oh, that's a mouthful. And Copilot integrated right into it. And the short version of my story is, this is the first laptop I've actually enjoyed using. I was getting insane frame rates, [00:43] anywhere from 160 to 200 frames, which this is a 4K screen. I was getting 4K 200 on this laptop. The fan only turned on while I was gaming, and it was quiet was wearing gaming headphones. The battery life was much better, especially [00:57] tasks that you use a laptop for. And having a hot key to open an AI assistant is actually is actually really cool. And way more useful than I thought it would be. Like just helping me get rid of mundane tasks like drafting up a going [01:10] live tweet before going live on Twitch, or even creating a recipe based on what food I still have in my fridge based around my current macros that are in my diet. Like offloading that from my brain to the computer allows me to use all of [01:22] my brain for my creative stuff, which was awesome. First great PC laptop experience for me. And like I know I mentioned the screen, but like this is mentioned the screen, but like this is an amazing screen. Beautiful.
