[00:01] many of my followers are between the ages of 18 and 24. However, I also know that many of you are under 18, which is why I decided to create this video. If this is your case, I know you probably feel [00:14] limited, thinking there aren't many things you can do at your age and that all doors are closed to you. However, I'm here to tell you that this isn't entirely true. There are many things you can do today to build [00:26] wealth in the years to come. These years you're currently in are your foundational years. Many of the things you do at this age will serve you for the rest of your life. So, if you're young, this is the best time to watch this [00:39] video. And if you like this type of content, subscribe to the channel, like the video, and comment with the brain emoji so I know you're taking action on this and all your goals. When someone asks me what steps they [00:51] need to take to generate wealth, I always answer the same: to be rich, you first have to think like a rich person. And that's why the first step to building wealth as a minor is to nourish your mind, be intelligent, and get good [01:04] grades. Learning in school will never be enough to create wealth in this world. To truly achieve it, you have to develop critical thinking. So, before starting any activity, I need you to read these three books: [01:16] number one, Think and Grow Rich; number two, Atomic Habits; and number three, Naval's Almanac. You'd be surprised to know how many people want wealth and don't even manage to complete this simple task. And this is when you [01:31] realize that wanting something is one thing, but being truly committed to it is quite another. If you are truly committed to generating wealth while still a minor, you have to read these books. The first book will [01:43] give you the mind map of the wealthy. You will understand how these types of people configure their minds to achieve what they want. In the second book, you will learn to create habits for the goals you set for yourself because it's not just about [01:55] wanting something; it's about creating an effective system to achieve it. And in the third book, you will learn everything you need to create wealth with today's tools. The book talks about how wealth is being created [02:07] in the world today and, above all, how you can leverage today's systems to this step, the second activity you need to do to create wealth as a young person is to find a profession. And by this, I don't necessarily mean [02:22] create wealth in your youth, you have to start making money to succeed. We have to work for it, and that's why I recommend finding a profession, which is nothing more than a vehicle to achieve your goals. I know this [02:36] in today's world when you have so many people trying to lead you somewhere, telling you to do forex, crypto trading, and a thousand and one other things, just [02:48] want to sell something. But my recommendation here is very simple: Research as much as you can. Here on the channel, we have a couple of videos on how to generate income and earn more money. But in addition to watching these videos, it's [03:02] necessary that you do detailed research, and you can do this completely free without investing anything but your time, using Google, YouTube, you have to do is know what to ask in the search engine to [03:16] get your answers. It's important that before buying any product or anything from someone, you have done detailed research about their industry and about... What they want to sell you in this world is important to have [03:28] guides and mentors. But it's also very important to be self-sufficient with your decisions. Literally searching for "How to make money online" is how I discovered the area I wanted to dedicate myself to: finance. So when [03:41] you finish this video, dedicate some specific time to researching what you would like to work in. I repeat, these videos are an excellent foundation, but have an idea or concept that [03:54] seems interesting for your profession, the third thing you have to do is gain experience. Just imagine trying to learn to drive by watching YouTube videos of people driving; it would be practically impossible to [04:06] learn, right? Well, this is exactly the same thing that happens with your profession. If you do n't start doing the things you want to do, you will always doubt yourself and you will never be able to achieve anything. Therefore, you need to test that concept you have [04:21] example, if you want to set up an online store, then try Shopify and start creating your first project. Don't wait any longer. And here I'm going to give you an extremely personal piece of advice: focus only on the next step. When I was a [04:37] minor, I tried many businesses; however, Many of them didn't prosper, and not precisely because they weren't good ideas, but rather because I suffered from something called analysis paralysis. I would often tell myself, "I'm [04:52] because I don't know how to ship my products," or " because I don't have a warehouse," or "because I don't have enough products to sell," and so on and so forth. However, I didn't even have worrying about how I would manage when I had 50, which wasn't even [05:08] close to happening. While thinking several steps ahead is a good planning strategy, sometimes it 's a limitation in execution. Therefore, you need to focus on one thing at a time. Richard Banson, founder of [05:22] someone offers you an amazing opportunity but you're not sure you can do it, say yes, and then learn how to do it later." In short, do an order if you don't even have your first customer in line?" stop you. [05:38] Unlock the business step by step. Get your first customer, then figure out how to ship the product, and then, with your first sale, start buying more products to sell. Don't be fooled. Take on the world in one [05:52] bite. Because if you try to do everything at once, you'll never accomplish anything. Now, if you're already testing your concepts, it's important that you important that you streamline them, and you can only achieve this by [06:06] learning from others. Sometimes the fastest way to learn something is by helping someone who's already doing it, and you can do this by working for someone who's where you want to be. If you 're very young, I recommend that you don't [06:19] work solely for money. I understand; I know the desperation to create wealth is immense, and believe me, I've experienced it. But it's much more valuable to work to learn. And this is primarily because if you learn the [06:32] right skills at your current age, by the time you're my age or older, you'll be completely unstoppable. And all because you were able to prioritize the long term over the short term—advice and a skill you'll learn in the book * [06:47] Atomic Habits* that I recommended at the beginning of the video. You see how everything has step, find someone who's where you want to be and try to contact them to ask for an opportunity. Be very frank about your expectations and [07:00] what you want to achieve. I'm being honest, you're going to have to Send a lot of messages and probably not many will reply, but don't get discouraged by this. In fact, I did this myself when I was younger. I wanted to work [07:13] in investments, so I contacted many important people in the field. Many didn't answer, others did, but I only spoke with one of them. She was the investment director of a [07:26] major bank, and you can literally see on the screen how I persisted for months and months just to get a single call with her. That call didn't get me a job, but it brought me much closer to my goal and allowed me to make my name known [07:40] in the field. What I'm getting at is that opportunity will never fall into your lap; you have to go out and find it. And that's why the fifth piece of advice for building wealth is to try many things. You're young and [07:54] have plenty of time, so take advantage of it and learn from everything. The more experiences you accumulate in your youth, the better decisions you'll make in your adulthood. You'll often find tons of professions or [08:07] businesses to start online, so don't be afraid to try the ones that interest you most until you find the one where you feel right. Well, otherwise you'll always think the other path or profession was the [08:19] right one when it was just one you didn't take. And I know that failure can make you believe you're on the wrong path, but anyone you admire in any industry started exactly like you, searching for their own [08:33] path in something they weren't sure was right for them. So don't be afraid of failure, embrace it and learn that it's a fundamental part of success. You need to fail to learn. It's better to try and fail today than to try and fail in [08:46] five years. You'll never get younger, and that's your great advantage. If you don't reach the goal, don't change the goal; change the plan to reach the goal. And for this very reason, and to be able to change the plan, you have to take risks. Whenever we do or [09:00] try something new, we receive the typical advice from our family or friends: "Don't risk it, it 's impossible, you'll waste your time, you'll get scammed," and many other things. And these may not be well- [09:14] these may not be well- this world, to build wealth you have to be risky, and to maintain it, you have to be conservative. If you're currently younger... If you're [09:26] between 18 and 25 years old, you might not have much wealth, and what you 're risking might not seem like much, but don't be discouraged because this is your business. But if you're afraid of losing your savings, remember that you're young and you can [09:42] recover them in the future. What you'll never be able to recover is all the lost time, and the worst part is that the longer you wait, the more you'll have to lose. In my case, when I decided to leave my secure job at the bank for this [09:56] dream of helping people, advising clients, and creating content, I was really risking everything. You saw it in the messages. All the struggles I endured just to get closer to and reach those jobs I wanted so much, and I [10:09] left all of that just for a dream. And all of that was because I realized one thing: regret weighs more than the loss. The worst thing that could happen to me was having to look for another job from scratch, and yes, starting over wasn't [10:23] easy. But the longer I waited, the harder it would be because I would have more and more to lose. So believe me, if today you don't have much to lose, you should start now. You're facing a great opportunity, don't let it [10:36] intimidate you. Remember that a brave person isn't someone who isn't afraid, but rather someone who acts despite their fear. And well, investors, that's all for today. I hope you enjoyed the video and found it helpful.
