> Source: [Don't Create Systems, Hire Experts](https://youtube.com/watch?v=BxJW_Lw6z3c)

## Summary

The video argues that solo founders should avoid creating detailed systems and documentation, as it wastes time. Instead, they should hire high-level experts who can figure things out independently.

### Key Points

- **Avoid Documentation for Solo Founders** [00:00] — Creating systems and documentation is inefficient for solo founders; time is better spent elsewhere.
- **Hire High-Level Experts** [00:00] — Hire people with a 'figure it out' mindset to avoid micromanagement and increase efficiency.

### Conclusion

For solo founders, prioritizing expert hires over documentation leads to greater productivity and less overhead.

don't create systems hire experts if you see any blog post about how to get more done in your business or how to be more productive or how to be more efficient they're all going to tell you systems and documentation but if you're a solo founder business where your time is your most important asset and you need to get as much done as possible you can't be spending time creating documentation I used to create documentation for everything I was big into this whole systems thing like yeah you need to create systems because then you can hire anyone off the street they'll execute because you just have to follow a document that you created there's a couple problems with that first of all if you're hiring people that need to have their handheld through every step of a process they're probably not going to be a good fit for you as a solo founder right because you need High Lev people you don't have time to be holding someone's hand on how to send an email or how to create a blog post in WordPress basically you want people that have this figure it out Gene they're the people that are like I started a project I ran to a roadblock and I figured it out
