## Summary

This video provides a comprehensive, budget-friendly guide for starting VTubing with zero cost. The creator outlines essential free tools, software, and resources, emphasizing a pragmatic approach to launching a stream without expensive equipment or complex setups.

### Key Points

- **Prerequisite: Computer Required** [0:00] — A computer is the only essential piece of hardware; without one, the guide cannot help you.
- **Free Streaming Software: OBS Studio** [0:04] — OBS Studio is 100% free and highly capable, offering extensive customization for streams.
- **Audio Solutions for Budget Streamers** [0:17] — Assumes use of a headset mic; suggests Googling 'how to make headset mic sound better' for free audio improvement techniques like Noise Gate and EQ adjustments.
- **PNG Tubing: Low-Cost VTubing Method** [0:43] — PNG tubing is recommended for low cost and effort. Free resources like P-cruise (with DL) and Canva's free version can be used to create the model and overlays.
- **Using Canva for Overlays** [1:12] — The free version of Canva is best for creating simple overlays; avoid complex overlay sets. A simple full-screen game with a logo or watermark is sufficient.
- **Free Assets from Stream Elements and Twitter** [1:43] — Stream Elements offers free overlays, widgets, and alerts. Twitter (X) is a rich source of free VTuber assets like Stingers (e.g., a free pentagram Stinger from spavuki).
- **Just Go Live: Avoid Overthinking** [2:09] — Don't spend excessive time on branding, game selection, or social media strategy. The priority is to start streaming and determine if you enjoy it before committing to improvements.
- **Alternative: VRoid for 3D Models** [2:33] — VRoid is a free program for creating 3D VTuber models using free assets from Booth. A $15 investment for fancy blend shapes is recommended for better quality.

### Conclusion

The cheapest way to start VTubing is to use free tools (OBS, Canva, Stream Elements), embrace PNG tubing, and begin streaming immediately without overthinking perfection. Real engagement and enjoyment come first.

zero dollar V tubing guy you guys ready
step one you need to have a computer I'm
sorry you do if you don't have a
computer I cannot help you I apologize
step two OBS Studio it's 100 free it's
incredibly powerful you can do basically
anything you could possibly want any
kind of microphone I'm imagining in
order for this guide to be zero dollars
that your headset has a microphone is it
gonna Sound Studio quality no but there
are a bunch of stuff you can do totally
for free to make it sound better so I
would just Google on youtube.com how to
make headset mic sound better and
there's just a bunch of guides to make
it passable so people can listen to you
without their eardrums bleeding a little
bit of a Noise Gate here a little
finoodling and it'll sound pretty good
actually PNG tubing is 100 the way for
low cost and relatively low effort
v-tubing I'm assuming that not only are
you broke but you're also exhausted
so PNG tubing is 100 the way so I would
recommend there are a couple of P cruise
actually and there is actually one
Linked In Our Discord server that will
allow you the TOs allows you to use it
for PNG tubing the picus look great you
can make any character you want and you
can add enough personality you can have
some kind of branding I would use the
free version of canva canva I would say
is the best but use the free version of
canva to make yourself some very very
simple overlays I think there is an idea
in the v-tubing community that you need
a whole set of overlays I would highly
recommend just slapping yourself on top
of the video game and making that mostly
full screen and then maybe adding like a
little bit of a logo here or there right
and then depending on how much skill you
have and how much time you're willing to
spend on canva you can make something a
little bit more fancy than that for your
chat stream elements has a whole bunch
of really cool overlays and widgets that
you can use to make your chat look
really nice and they also have a bunch
of baked in alerts and basically all of
them are free there are a million people
on Twitter making a million different
kinds of free streamer assets so I would
just type in on zitter Twitter whatever
the [ __ ] it's called now type in free
vtuber assets and you'll get Stingers my
Stinger that I use with the pentagram
that's a free Stinger I got on Twitter
from spavuki my chat is custom but I was
using zatri's free version which is
actually amazing looking
um and then yeah and then I would just
hit go live and start streaming don't
spend a bunch of time thinking about
what your brand looks like don't spend a
bunch of time worrying about what kind
of games You're Gonna Play Don't freak
yourself out trying to figure out like
what kind am I gonna post on Tick Tock
oh my God don't think about any of that
just go live and you know what worst
case scenario you love it and you think
that you could do it better and just
Rebrand because first you need to decide
if you actually like streaming at all
that's my that's the the cheapest guide
to doing v-tubing you can do vroid vroid
is a free program you can get free
assets on booth and if you have a little
bit of skill and unity you can make a
really great YouTuber model on vroid for
almost no money for basically zero money
though I would recommend spending 15
bucks to get the fancy blend shapes
that's my streamer advice mermaid waffle
