## Summary

Patch 12.0.7 goes live on June 16th, packed with new mini zones, difficulty options for solo players to obtain myth track gear, and a new one-boss raid with high item level loot. The patch also introduces the Omnium Folio talent tree system, updates to the Turbulent Timewise event, and significant quality-of-life improvements.

### Key Points

- **New Mini Zones** [[1:00]] — Two new mini zones (Val and Nigel) offer open-world difficulty options (Normal/Heroic). Rewards include field accolades, warbound champion gear, and cosmetic items. Heroic mode drops warbound hero gear from world bosses.
- **Myth Track Gear for Solo Players** [[2:57]] — A heroic mode quest rewards a myth track piece of gear (cloak, belt, or bracers) after killing world bosses four times on heroic, taking up to four weeks. This is the only source of myth track gear for solo players.
- **Field Accolade Rewards Update** [[3:38]] — Field accolades can be spent on hero gear boxes for specific slots (750 accolades each) or warbound champion gear boxes (100 accolades each). New cosmetic bags targeting specific transmogs are also available.
- **Omnium Folio System** [[5:14]] — A new talent-tree-like system unlocked via a short quest. Passive bonuses to damage and healing, with points earned weekly. Core rune powers: Void Touched Orbs (consistent) or Unleashed Fire (RNG). Persists through the rest of the Midnight expansion.
- **New One-Boss Raid: Sporefall** [[7:14]] — A flexible mythic difficulty raid (15-25 players) in Harendar. Drops up to item level 298 gear (same as fully upgraded myth track). A quest rewards a nebulous void core bonus roll.
- **Ritual Sites Tier 6** [[8:31]] — New difficulty for ritual sites offers greater challenges and rewards 5 myth crests per run. This provides a farmable source of myth crests for solo players, enabling faster crafted gear upgrades.
- **New Story Content** [[9:53]] — A new main story campaign sets up patch 12.1, focusing on Ammani troll history. New lorewalking adventures cover iconic troll lore characters. The lorewalking screen has a visual facelift.
- **Turbulent Timeways Event Returns** [[10:56]] — Back-to-back timewalking for 6 weeks, including Dragonflight dungeons. Rewards include new mounts, transmog, toys, and the Spawn of Viaan mount from the Master of Turbulent Timeways achievement. Weekly quests reward heroic gear caches.
- **Leveling Experience Changes** [[12:36]] — First-time delve quests reward over 140k XP (nearly double). Weekly event quests from major renown factions now give over 100k XP. Prey hunts and dungeon quests also significantly increased.
- **Housing and UI Updates** [[13:22]] — Outdoor lighting added. Exterior decor limits raised (300 for level 5, 350 for level 7). New common decor from neighborhood vendors. Personal resource display UI overhaul with size, opacity, and color options.
- **Abundance World Event Quality-of-Life** [[14:22]] — Multiple shards of Dund can now be spent at once, multiplying rewards. Players can complete weekly eight-shard requirement in a single run, greatly speeding up farming.

### Conclusion

Patch 12.0.7 is a substantial update introducing solo-friendly myth gear and crests, a persistent borrowed power system, new raid, story content, and numerous quality-of-life improvements. It aims to bridge the gap between season 1 and season 2 while providing significant catch-up mechanics for all players.

## Transcript

Hey folks, this is Khani. Patch 1207
goes live on June 16th, and it's shaping
up to be quite a large patch with a lot
of content to look forward to. We have
some new mini zones to explore with
openw world difficulty options that let
solo players obtain myth track gear.
There are new ways to get your hands on
myth crests without doing any group
content. There's a brand new one boss
raids that drops significantly higher
item level loot. The Omnium Folio system
will provide some large power boosts
that will persist through the rest of
the Midnight expansion, and we have a
bunch of new story content to look
forward to. The Turbulent Timewise event
returns with all new rewards. There are
various updates to the user interface.
Some systems were made much more player
friendly, and leveling your alts will be
much faster when the patch goes live.
This patch is jam-packed with new
gameplay options and gear catch-ups. So,
let's go over everything coming in patch
1207. Now, before we jump in, be sure to
hit up that like button and subscribe so
you never miss another video. First up,
patch 1207 introduces or reintroduces
two new minis for us to explore. We'll
be venturing back to Val and Nigel, but
this time we'll be spending a lot more
time here completing quests and farming
currencies. Almost every activity in
these new zones will reward you with
field accolades, including completing
world quests, killing rares, and looting
treasures. Each rare you kill also has a
chance to drop warbound champion gear.
So, if you have any alts that you still
need to gear up, that might help out a
bit there. Both zones also have a new
world boss to take down, which can drop
warbound champion gear on normal mode or
heroic gear on heroic mode. Killing the
world bosses also rewards you with a big
chunk of field accolades. So, these
zones will make it very easy to catch up
on gear or get any of your alts up to
speed ready for season two. There are
also a whole bunch of cosmetic rewards
to pick up, including new mounts, pets,
and transmog, and plenty of achievements
for you to complete. Now, all of these
rewards are significantly increased if
you enter the zones on heroic mode.
Whenever you use a portal to the new
zones, you'll get a delveike screen that
lets you pick a difficulty. So, you can
head in on normal mode or heroic mode.
On heroic mode, you'll be earning far
more field accolades from every source.
rares can drop four of six champion gear
instead of one of six, and the world
bosses will drop warbound hero gear. So,
it's definitely worth upping difficulty
if you can handle the heroic mode. This
is the first time that we've seen
difficulty options for the open world
outside of a remix event. So, I am very
interested to see how the dev team
expands upon this idea in the future.
Maybe we'll eventually have difficulty
options for every midnight zone like how
Legion Remix worked. Or maybe difficulty
options for the new zone coming in patch
12.1. But we'll just have to wait and
see how this little experiment goes. I
guess it's not just additional field
accolade farming, though. In heroic
mode, you can also pick up a quest that
rewards you with a myth track piece of
gear. You can choose between a cloak, a
belt, or braces. The quest requires you
to kill the new world bosses four times
on heroic mode, which means it could
take up to four weeks to finish this
quest, but this is the only source of
myth track gear available to solo
content players. So, it's definitely
worth completing. The weekly quest to
take part in the new zones activities
has better rewards on heroic mode 2,
including some myth quests. So, that's
another source of myth crests for solo
content players. That doesn't mean that
the extra field accolades will be
useless, though. will have some new ways
to spend this currency. In 1207, you'll
now be able to buy hero gear boxes for
specific gear slots. So, you can target
helms, shoulders, cloaks, whatever item
you actually still need. Those gear slot
boxes will cost you a bit more, though.
They're currently slated for 750 field
accolades, which does make them quite
pricey. The increased field accolade
rewards from the new zones, especially
on heroic world tier, should more than
make up for that increase, though. You
can also buy warbound champion gear for
specific gear slots as well. So, not
only can you target specific items here,
but you can then send those boxes to
your alts to help them gear up much
faster. Those boxes will cost you 100
field accolades each. We'll also have
some new ways to spend dark particles.
The cosmetic vendor has some bulging
bags that you can purchase that contain
specific transmogs that have been quite
annoying to pick up so far. So you can
target Twilight bags, Naga bags, Ammani
bags, and Elven bags to try and narrow
down your options to earn the transmogs
that you're most interested in.
Curiously, there are some similar
transmog focused bulging bags available
from vendors in the new zones that offer
up ethereal and winter themed transmog
options, but those ones will cost 250
field accolades each, making them
significantly more expensive when
compared to the dark particle boxes.
Still, if you want to hunt down some
specific transmog unlocks, these bags
give you a way to target things more
specifically. So, if you're interested
in any of these new bags or boxes, I
would hold on to your field accolades
and dark particles until the patch goes
live. Patch 1207 also introduces the
Omnium Folio feature. This is a new
talent tree style system that unlocks
after a short story quest. Upon
completion, you'll unlock the Omnium
Folio and earn your first talent point.
You get to choose between two different
core rune powers. Void touched orbs
gives you an extra boost of damage or
healing every 10 seconds, so that seems
more consistent. And then unleashed fire
is just a chance to deal extra damage or
healing. So that seems more RNG based.
It looks like we'll earn a new point
every week, which lets you progress
through the tree. After four weeks, we
should have the whole thing unlocked. If
you're curious what some of the other
powers in this tree can do, the second
row provides you with some extra healing
and defensive options. The third row
gives you some extra healing or damage
overtime effects when your core rune
procs. The fourth row gives you some
secondary stats whenever your core rune
activates. And then the last row
improves your core rune effect, the
overtime effects or gives your runes a
damage accumulation effect. So, as the
weeks go by, you'll be able to unlock
new powers that provide passive bonuses
to your damage and healing. And while
they may not be the most exciting thing
in the world, those passive increases
should help you achieve any end of
season goals you may be struggling with.
Now, what's really interesting about
this feature is that unlike previous 7
patch power boosts like the Cersei
Cirlet Ring and the Titan belt, this one
is going to stick around for much
longer. In the preview blue post for
this specific feature, the dev team
notes that these rune powers will be
available to players throughout the rest
of the Midnight expansion. So, this
isn't a quick power spike to finish up
season 1 before it gets deactivated.
These runes will provide some passive
bonuses for the rest of the expansion,
which means we might also see some new
options added in future patches to keep
things interesting. Either way, the
Omnium Folio will definitely be at the
top of every player's to-do list when
this patch goes live. It's not just gear
catch-ups and passive bonuses in this
patch. Will also have a brand new raid
to plunder with some of the best rewards
available in the season. Sporefall is a
new one boss raid in Harendar. And if
you can overcome the challenges of Rott
Meer, you can walk away with up to item
level 298 gear. That's the same item
level as fully upgraded Myth Track gear
with an ascendant void core boost. So,
you actually can't get most of these
gear slots at this high of an item level
outside of this raid, making it some of
the best gear available for the rest of
the season. Of course, every other
difficulty will have a high item level
when compared to similar difficulty or
gear track rewards. So, it is still
worth doing even if you aren't heading
into mythic mode. This new raid is also
the first time we'll have a flexible
mythic difficulty. So you can take 15 to
25 players into mythic and the fight
will adapt to your player count just
like normal and heroic do. It will be
interesting to see if this leads to more
mythic kills overall and it should make
pugging the boss a bit easier as well.
As an extra incentive to get folks into
the new raid, we'll have a special quest
to take down Rott Meer on any difficulty
that rewards you with a nebulous void
core bonus roll. So you can pick up an
extra bonus roll if there are still some
items that you need to roll on. Now solo
content players will have some more
updates to look forward to as well.
Starting with a new difficulty for
ritual sites. Tier six will offer
greater challenges and even better
rewards, including five myth crests at
the end of every run. You can still
complete as many ritual sites as often
as you want. So this provides you with
an infinitely farmable source of myth
crests. This is the first time solo
content players have access to farmable
myth crests, which will let you upgrade
your spark crafted gear much faster than
before. Every 80 crests you can earn can
be turned into another piece of 285
crafted gear. With the current spark
count at around 14, that means you can
make seven pieces of gear, which is
almost half of your gear slots. You can
also boost the item level of a crafted
weapon using the ascendant void cores,
so easily farmable myth crests open up a
lot of very easy gear upgrades. This may
be the highest item levels that solo
content players have ever been able to
obtain in any season so far, which will
make the transition into season 2 quite
interesting. You'll still be earning
hero crests, which can help fuel gear
upgrades or can be traded up to myth
crests eventually, and field accolades
to buy specific pieces of gear to fill
in your gear slots. If you need another
reason to take on this new difficulty,
there's also a quest that rewards you
with a nebulous voyor bonus role for
completing tier six ritual sites. We
also have quite a lot of story content
in this patch, including the start of a
new main story campaign that sets the
stage for patch 12.1. With the initial
threat of the void well quelled for now,
the Harendar invite members of the
various factions of midnight to a
special ceremony. But during the
ceremony, the history of the Ammani
trolls is brought into question, and the
real history of the Ammani might not
quite line up with their own teachings.
You'll join Zuljan as they try to
uncover the mysteries of the past and
the dangers lurking just beyond the
coasts of Zoran. We'll also have some
new lawalking adventures to work through
that focus on the lower and key events
surrounding them. You'll get to learn
about some of the most iconic lower in
troll history and how they shaped the
different troll tribes. With the next
patch most likely being very troll
ccentric, this new law walking story is
a great chance to brush up on your troll
lore to get the most out of the new
story content coming our way. As an
extra bonus, the law walking screen has
had a facelift and it looks much better
overall, which is always nice to see.
The turbulent timeways event will be
returning, giving us backto-back time
walking for 6 weeks if the PTR calendar
holds accurate. That does mean we might
not see every available expansion this
time around, but we will see the
addition of dragonfly dungeons and
rewards, including new mounts, transmog
sets, toys, pets, and reputation
commendations for the dragonfly renowned
factions. So, if you never got around to
finishing those off, that should be much
easier with the dragonfly time walking
vendor goodies. You can also pick up any
of the previous turbulent timeways event
mounts that you may have missed, like
the Timely Busby or Chronoc Corsair. The
turbulent time wise event is also still
a great time to level up any alts you
haven't gotten around to yet, thanks to
the stacking experience buff that caps
out at 30% bonus experience gains. As
you complete time walking dungeons, you
can also work towards the master of the
turbulent time waste 5 achievement,
which requires you to obtain the mastery
of time waste buff for four weeks of the
event, which is one less week than it
used to be. To get that buff, you just
need to run a few timeing dungeons each
week, which is super easy to complete.
That achievement rewards you with the
spawner via an mount, which is very cool
indeed, and not just cuz it's covered in
icicles. So, there are some unique
rewards on offer this time around.
During the event, the weekly time
walking quests will reward heroic gear
caches instead of champion gear caches,
which will give you one last chance to
get some very easy heroic gear for all
of your characters, which will make
gearing up your alts much faster as
well.
It's not just the turbulent time weights
event that will speed up leveling. This
patch also makes some significant
adjustments to the experience rewards
from one time or weekly quests. Delve
first time completion quests now reward
over 140,000 experience each, almost
double what they used to reward. So that
will help you shave off an extra level
if you complete them all before you hit
level 90. Weekly event quests from the
major renowned factions now reward over
a 100,000 experience each. And this
includes the leveling weekly quest in
Silver Moon. Prey hunts now also reward
over a 100,000 experience while leveling
up. So they're actually worth
considering now. And the experience
rewarded from dungeon quests has been
massively increased, too. So, all in
all, if you are doing any of these
activities while leveling up, you should
level significantly faster in patch
1207, and the bonus experience bust from
the turbulent timeways event will just
speed things up further. There are also
a few housing updates to look forward
to. Lighting will now be available
outdoors, so you can add lights to your
exterior plot to brighten things up a
bit. And then the exterior decor limits
for houses level 5 to seven have been
raised up to 300 and 350. So you'll have
some extra budget to add in some lights
even if you've maxed out your exterior
limit before the patch goes live.
There's also a bunch of new common decor
available from the neighborhood vendors.
We also have a handful of important UI
updates coming with this patch. Most
notably for the personal resource
display. You'll be able to change the
overall size, width, and height of the
health and power bars. the padding
between the bars, opacity, and
visibility. The health and power bars
can be hidden individually. You can
tinker about with the class resource
bar. There are new options to show class
colors or bar text. And the personal
resource display has been updated with
some new art. So, you might be able to
play around with the default personal
resource display and make something that
suits your needs. And then there's a
huge quality of life change coming for
the abundance world event. You can now
spend multiple shards of Dund done at
once, which multiplies your rewards by
how many shards you use at a time. So
you don't have to do eight runs per week
per character anymore. You can get all
of your rewards from your weekly eight
shards with just one run, which will
speed up your alloyed abundance farming
quite significantly. This is an amazing
change, though I do think it could have
been added in much sooner, and arguably
should have been the way the system
worked from day one. But I guess it's
still better late than never. and
farming for your epic profession tools
should be much much easier with this
change in place. But that's everything
coming in patch 1207 on June 16th. So
that's it for this video. As you can
see, it's a pretty beefy patch with a
whole suite of changes from new content,
plenty of catch-up opportunities, and
some quality of life updates to boot.
