[00:00] I recently came across an app that claims&nbsp; you can earn money just by watching short&nbsp;&nbsp; drama videos on your phone. So, it sounds like&nbsp; fun, right? So, I decided to actually test it.&nbsp;&nbsp; It is called FunTV. But before you rush to&nbsp; download it, there's something very important&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:15] you need to know about how it really works.&nbsp; And I will share all my experiences and all&nbsp;&nbsp; the details in this video so you can find out&nbsp; if this is right opportunity for you or not.&nbsp;&nbsp; In case you don't know, my name is Mikael and&nbsp; on this channel here, I test different ways&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:29] to make money online so you can find out what&nbsp; actually works and what to avoid so you don't&nbsp;&nbsp; waste your time. Today, I will take you inside&nbsp; an app I have recently tested called FunTV,&nbsp;&nbsp; which claims you can earn by watching short drama&nbsp; style videos. It's a bit different from the usual&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:45] watch and earn apps I have tested before. And&nbsp; while you potentially can earn, you need to&nbsp;&nbsp; know exactly what to expect. So, let's go through&nbsp; how it really works and what you need to be aware&nbsp;&nbsp; of before you try it. So, let's start by going&nbsp; over who can join. And FunTV has an app for both&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:02] Android and iOS devices. And from what I've been&nbsp; able to find out, it is available in more or less&nbsp;&nbsp; all countries. But that doesn't mean, as mentioned&nbsp; earlier, that you should rush to download it.&nbsp;&nbsp; Let's first take an inside look so you will know&nbsp; whether it's really worth it and what to expect.&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:16] So, let me just log in. So I am now logged into&nbsp; the app and you can see there are plenty of drama&nbsp;&nbsp; series and small videos you can watch here and&nbsp; all you would then need to do is to click to watch&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:29] one and it will play and then you can see there&nbsp; is also a counter there that counts these coins&nbsp;&nbsp; and it looks like you are earning a lot and now it&nbsp; just disappears once in a while there but you need&nbsp;&nbsp; to click to claim it but it will just count all&nbsp; the time when you are watching these short drama&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:44] videos there and this particular one is almost 2&nbsp; minutes but there are different playlist so you&nbsp;&nbsp; can also watch longer dramas in small bits if you&nbsp; want to. So, how it works is that then you would&nbsp;&nbsp; need to click to claim and then you can see you&nbsp; can also get check-in rewards and everything. But&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:59] every time you click something in here, there&nbsp; will be ads, a lot of ads. Even when you just&nbsp;&nbsp; open the app and when you're just navigating&nbsp; around, there will random ads will pop up. So,&nbsp;&nbsp; there's a ton of ads. So, whatever you do, there&nbsp; will just be ads, ads, ads. And some of the ads&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:16] will be very long also. So, that's something to&nbsp; be aware of. That's how they make money and that's&nbsp;&nbsp; why they say they will also pay you to actually&nbsp; watch these dramas. But in reality, what they will&nbsp;&nbsp; pay you to do is to watch ads because that's how&nbsp; they make money and they have a ton of ads. So,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:31] let me just be right back once this ad is&nbsp; hopefully soon over. Once that ad was over,&nbsp;&nbsp; a new one automatically started. So, I actually&nbsp; had to sit and watch two long videos ads just to&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:43] be able to get those 800 coins. There you can&nbsp; see. Then I could get more coins if I want to&nbsp;&nbsp; watch another ad. But don't worry, I will not&nbsp; force you to watch more. Oh, I have to watch an&nbsp;&nbsp; ad anyway. So, even though I thought I actually&nbsp; closed and said no to get the extra points,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:57] they still show me a video ad. So, you can see&nbsp; it's it really takes patience, but I'll just be&nbsp;&nbsp; right back. So, I now finally managed to get out&nbsp; of all the ads there. And you can see then there's&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:09] different other things you can watch ads in here.&nbsp; You can do different other things you claim. You&nbsp;&nbsp; can go back here and watch these episodes there or&nbsp; these different dramas. And then again, I thought&nbsp;&nbsp; I just could jump back and show you some more&nbsp; dramas and an overview. But again, an ad pops up,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:25] a random ad. I didn't click anything. I just want&nbsp; to go back, navigate inside the app, and again, an&nbsp;&nbsp; ad pops up. So, once that's over, let's just jump&nbsp; straight to the payout section because I think you&nbsp;&nbsp; kind of get the idea that there are all these&nbsp; different things that you can click and watch,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:39] but what they are really trying to do is just to&nbsp; bombard you with ads because that's how they make&nbsp;&nbsp; money. It takes a ton of patience and it is really&nbsp; not user friendly. I've tested a lot of apps where&nbsp;&nbsp; they have ads as a part of their way to monetize.&nbsp; But this here is just like ridiculous how many ads&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:57] that are constantly thrown at you. But I'll just&nbsp; be right back and see if I can get into the payout&nbsp;&nbsp; section so we can talk about that because that's&nbsp; of course an important part of figuring out if&nbsp;&nbsp; it's worth it for you or not. So, I now managed&nbsp; to get to the payout section and you can see&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:11] here is a withdrawal section and you can see how&nbsp; many coins I have earned and you earn, you know,&nbsp;&nbsp; a few hundreds here and there and sometimes it&nbsp; can be thousands if you're willing to watch some&nbsp;&nbsp; longer clips or a ton of ads. Really, that's how&nbsp; you earn here. Even though they call it something&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:25] else, but but that's how you really earn whenever&nbsp; you bombard with ads. So, you can see very clearly&nbsp;&nbsp; the conversion there. So, I have 62,000 coins&nbsp; and it's worth around 12 cents. So here you&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:37] can also see how much I would need to actually be&nbsp; able to withdraw and I would need 8 million coins&nbsp;&nbsp; to be able to withdraw and then I would get $15.&nbsp; So I would say that out of I've tested hundreds&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:50] of different apps and I would say that it's&nbsp; realistic earnings for an app like this where&nbsp;&nbsp; you're just bombarded with ads. So, it's not that&nbsp; they're making exaggerated earning claims, but&nbsp;&nbsp; it's very clear here that you can see you need to&nbsp; spend a ton of time, and I cannot even imagine how&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:05] many hours of ads you would have to watch to reach&nbsp; this payout threshold. The payout threshold might&nbsp;&nbsp; be different depending on your country, but no&nbsp; matter what, you can definitely count on having to&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:18] watch many, many hours of ads before reaching the&nbsp; payout threshold. But if you manage to reach it,&nbsp;&nbsp; you can see you can withdraw via PayPal. I don't&nbsp; know if the payout options are different in other&nbsp;&nbsp;
[05:30] countries. They might be if you have actually used&nbsp; it or if you're deciding to even though I don't&nbsp;&nbsp; really recommend it unless you're extreme patient&nbsp; and just love watching ads. But you know that's&nbsp;&nbsp; up to you if you do that or if you already have&nbsp; tested. Please let me know in your country which&nbsp;&nbsp;

But as you can&nbsp; hear, I'm not super excited about it because I&nbsp;&nbsp; just don't like an app like this where you're just&nbsp; constantly bombarded with ads. If you're told that&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:01] by watching drama videos, but you're not really.&nbsp; You're just bombarded with ads constantly, even&nbsp;&nbsp; when you try to navigate inside the app. And I&nbsp; really don't like that. But maybe you will notice&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:14] on Google Play, for example, that it actually has&nbsp; quite good reviews. So, let's talk about why that&nbsp;&nbsp; might be considering what I actually say about&nbsp; it. So, on Google Play, you can see it actually&nbsp;&nbsp; has more than 3,000 reviews and it has a rating&nbsp; of 4.4. However, when you actually look at them,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:33] if you just look at all these here, you can&nbsp; see there's also a ton of 1-star reviews&nbsp;&nbsp; and basically all the 5-star ones, it looks like&nbsp; some kind of random AI written or something like&nbsp;&nbsp; that, but it is basically an invite code. They&nbsp; are trying to just promote the invite code because&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:49] you can earn more by inviting others. And that is&nbsp; basically all the 5-star ones. You can see they&nbsp;&nbsp; are promoting the different codes here. Invite&nbsp; code there. But as you can also see it's actually&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:03] the same code. So it seems like one person has&nbsp; just spammed a lot of reviews here with the exact&nbsp;&nbsp; same code or the app is asking some people uh to&nbsp; actually do this and share this invite code. &nbsp;
[07:16] So it's a little bit strange uh why all of them&nbsp; are like that but this kind of explains somebody&nbsp;&nbsp; is clearly trying to make it look amazing. So you&nbsp; use this invite code because they think that's a&nbsp;&nbsp; way to really earn a lot. But personally how I&nbsp; feel, and you know that if you watch my videos&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:33] before, I don't care if I can earn by inviting&nbsp; other people to it if I don't think it's worth&nbsp;&nbsp; it because in my opinion, it's really a waste of&nbsp; time. It's really ineffective way to earn and then&nbsp;&nbsp; I don't want to invite others even though it can&nbsp; potentially boost my earnings there. So I don't&nbsp;&nbsp;
[07:49] understand why people try to do this here but I&nbsp; just wanted to talk about this because sometimes&nbsp;&nbsp; lot poor ratings here and in general this is one&nbsp; of the reasons that I am careful just trusting&nbsp;&nbsp;
[08:02] blindly reviews on Google Play or Trust Pilot or&nbsp; any review site like that because they can easily&nbsp;&nbsp; be manipulated both in a positive and a negative&nbsp; way. I always test and verify myself and try to&nbsp;&nbsp;
[08:15] share both the pros and the cons and the details&nbsp; and the nuances here on my channel. So overall,&nbsp;&nbsp; as you can hear, I don't think FunTV is worth&nbsp; it. It's just a ton of ads you have to watch and&nbsp;&nbsp;
[08:28] you have to be extremely patient to earn enough&nbsp; to actually get paid. Overall, you have to be&nbsp;&nbsp; aware that watching ads or watching videos is not&nbsp; something that will give huge earnings. In fact,&nbsp;&nbsp; watching videos online, I get a lot of questions&nbsp; about this. And it is one of the least effective&nbsp;&nbsp;
[08:42] ways to earn online. There are legit sites that&nbsp; will pay you and where it's more effective and&nbsp;&nbsp; where you don't have as many ads to watch and&nbsp; things like that where you can earn by watching&nbsp;&nbsp; videos. [08:56] So, you can check that out. But please keep in&nbsp; mind that it's one of the least effective ways to&nbsp;&nbsp; earn online. So, keep that in mind. Personally, if&nbsp; you were looking for free ways to earn a bit. So,&nbsp;&nbsp; there are many other free ways to do that. It&nbsp; can be paid service, paid offers, playing games,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[09:11] get paid to sites and apps, have many options&nbsp; like that that are more effective than watching&nbsp;&nbsp; videos. Also, all those options are way&nbsp;&nbsp;
[09:24] more effective and give way better user experience&nbsp; where you're not just constantly bombarded with&nbsp;&nbsp; ads in my experience.
