Day, driven by a villain who was chasing after James Bond while he was trying to escape an ice palace in an invisible Aston Martin. The machine gun itself is obviously not a real gun. It's just a bunch of metal pieces kind of put
together to look like something that would resemble a gun. And it's the same thing in front with those radiator shooters. They're also obviously fake. The scene this car starred in was a car chase on the ice. As a result of that,
chase on the ice. As a result of that, several of the screen-used XKRs didn't ride on Jaguar chassis, but instead on a Ford Explorer chassis, so they could use four-wheel drive. If you look closely, you can kind of see the
rear offset is a little bit wrong. It's a little too wide back there. Doesn't quite seem right, probably because it's not actually a Jaguar XKR underneath. That also included the powertrain. The Jaguar supercharged V8 was replaced in
