## Transcript

Larson, he's a very, very confident guy. He's got a lot more bravado than Lara. He often feels that he's at Lara's level, which Lara may not agree with, but he's definitely someone that you don't want to underestimate.
It's really interesting to see the way that men interact with Lara, right? Larson thinks that he is my male counterpart, but he's really not. He is more of, let's call him a brute.
Being a woman as capable as Laura, you shouldn't be worried about some dude with big muscles and a shotgun. Because Laura's a badass. She's going to find a way to get around it. He knows he's not a match for her, but he still dreams of having her.
That's nope. Larson, the answer is still no. Laura, you heard it. Go home, Larson. Tyrone's not big enough to break the bus. Hey. Talk to me in game. They were bouncing the ball a little bit between each other and that was amazing to watch.
Those were two really professional actors that proposed something and they were really in the real time reacting to each other. I asked Alex if she can be a little bit more aggressive when she's talking with him and
he gives her a space, right? At some point we asked him to be more aggressive and she gives him a spot So they were really responsive to each other
Now, they say you're the best, but I just have a drop on you. What does that make me? Lucky. I think it's very sweet, because I think there's definite chemistry there. Yeah.
It's got to do with his voice, my boy. Oh, my God. Yeah? It's your facilitating introduction. Laura Cross? Yeah. You like it? I like it. Yeah, I love it. Yeah, it gives them more chemistry and stuff.
You know, it's no different. Natla. Are you ready? Natla. Laura. It's like, oh, hello. Bradley had us at the voice. There was something just, his voice seemed right on to us.
On top of that, his acting ability was really solid. And he offered a nice emotional counter to the character, keeping it somewhat light, but also not making it frivolous and throwaway, but actually as a real person.
And I think that we've made real strides to amplify Larson and make him a real, a meaningful character. We build shapes and colors, schemes, and everything on top of what that feeling is.
for our solution we really wanted him to be kind of gruff down to earth and gritty right And that kind of the approach that we wanted to do with him Once we had that idea of what his person is then we build the concept on that and we build
the model off of that and, you know, flannel shirt, jeans, boots, you know, pack of cigarettes in his shirt. I've seen a couple of snippets of Brad's performances as well. And again,
I think he just nails the gruffness and the gritty. But halfway across the continent, I'm looking for you. C'est la chance. Same old Lara.
It's hard for me to track down. You found me. Lara is realistic, like as a person. Her feelings to other characters in the scenes. We need to balance everything really smart to make it work.
Alex proposed really good things and our script setting up the tone of something with the distance. Something like that. No. No.
But I'm not sure it works. I don't know if we'll stick with it. We'll stick with it, yeah. Do you want to run it again? No, I think she's anticipation. We need to balance some serious moments to make the character believable
and some distant moments to make the story working together. I'm still trying to believe in me. First off, I started to introduce myself. We have to do what Spencer tells us otherwise we literally don exist As long as I don have to do what you tell me And then you give me a signal look one more time I got the money Good luck Yeah
Gotta say, the test is a good sign. Yes, you must have got a bad sign. I was really curious about all of the emotional beats between Lara and Larson that we have.
So I'm wondering if we go even deeper in that or we make a little bit more distance between them. I really believe what they're going to say. Larson is a character who wants to make good,
but he's never, at least to his mind, felt like he fit in and gotten the kudos he deserves. And so he is very pointed at proving who he is.
