story studying cyber security from long back it has been my interest but uh when I came to the real world after like uh 2 years in my uh job so I did not know how like I can show the skills of myself like I did not have any way so that was
when I realized that I need to upskill it's a funny story I started by looking for a certification for Compia security plus I uh stumbled upon the simply learn website so after like Ih looked through the website and I got a call from
explained to me like the course they had on masters on cyber security which was providing me the certificate I was looking for and even the next the CE certification and all. So that was when I like thought like if I'm getting this
much and I'm getting a lot of uh uh trainings and they were telling from triple IT Bangalore and all teachers will be training in live sessions. So I saw like it was a plus point so I took the course. I would say the course has
uh benefited me a lot in uh gaining an understanding of the basics in cyber security. So when like someone is shifting from a role which is totally a different domain like development or QA and they're shifting to security. So
doing this course I would say helps a lot because uh it uh gives a very uh good grasp like you'll have a very good grasp of the basics once you do it. Before the course I thought it's just cyber security penetration like hackers
and all just done but after the course I got to know like what all different fields are there in cyber security. There's malware analysis and uh uh VAP There's malware analysis and uh uh VAP network security. So in that way like
they helped a lot in helping me understand like what type of role I want to apply for after that because before that I was just spraying in all types of roles but now I knew specifically what I wanted and uh where should I go and as I
had the good grasps of basics the interviews were pretty uh easy for me thanks to simply learn I built a strong foundation successfully transitioned into vulnerability management and achieved a 100% hike in my new role
