## Summary

This video documents the trader's first attempt at flipping a $1,000 account, risking 50% per trade. After several losses, including a near account blowout, they recover and end with over $2,400, concluding that following a disciplined strategy is key.

### Key Points

- **Challenge Setup** [00:15] — The trader announces a flipping challenge using a broker that supported the EN6 2.0 course, with $1,000 initial capital and 50% risk per trade.
- **First Trade Entry** [05:20] — Enters a sell trade risking $500 (50% of account) on a one-hour timeframe order block and five-minute confirmation, aiming for a 1:2 reward.
- **First Trade Loss** [10:06] — The trade hits a 50% loss ($500) after price moves against position, reducing account to $500.
- **Second Trade Attempt** [11:14] — On day two, the trader enters a buy trade risking remaining $500, but cannot open full lot due to margin constraints; trade later loses around $400.
- **Depositing More Funds** [14:43] — After losses, the trader deposits an additional $1,000 to continue the challenge, now with ~$1,240 account.
- **NFP Trade Win** [15:47] — Trades the NFP news event, risking $50, and closes with $1,200 profit, recovering losses and bringing account to $2,400.
- **London Session Trade** [24:38] — On day four, the trader enters a buy trade during London session using divergence confirmation, risking $900, and hits take profit for ~$2,000 gain.
- **Lessons Learned** [27:12] — Concludes that following a structured strategy works best; avoids trading news events without clear confirmation, and emphasizes discipline and risk management.

### Conclusion

The trader successfully flipped an account from $2,000 total deposit to over $2,400, highlighting the importance of strategy adherence and discipline over luck-based news trading.

## Transcript

am with you. Many of you asked me to do this, so we're going to do challenges because I've never done flipping in my life. I've never flipped an account. I've never tried that. I've never used 50% risk
to take an account to that capital. I've never done any of this. But literally all the messages I've received from you asking for this, just for fun, and I'm going to take advantage of it and do it. You know that about three
weeks ago we had the EN6 2.0 project, which was the second time we opened the course. Within that course, there was a broker that supported me and offered $300 and $500 accounts to all the students. And that's the
same broker I'm going to be using to do these flips. This is the broker where I'll be doing the flips. Here I'll be taking, I don't know, from $500 to whatever I can reach, or from $1,000 to whatever I can
reach. And it's the broker I'm going to be using. It's not the best broker; there are many brokers that are better, like forex.com or Oanda, but This is the broker I'll be using. It had good market conditions. I met the
owners in the United States on my last trip, and it seemed super interesting. So I'm going to use this broker, and I'll be doing the flips directly through this broker. I'll be sharing the
documenting all of this for YouTube so you can see if I'm capable of maybe taking an account from $1,000 to $3,000 or from $3,000 to $ 10,000. These are literally crazy challenges I'll be doing with my strategy
to see if it works for flipping small accounts, if I can take one from $ 300 to $1,000, or whatever. This isn't financial advice, and I don't recommend you do it either. It's simply my YouTube channel, and for fun, and because
you asked me to, I'm going to be doing flips. So I'm going to start this time with a $1,000 account. I was thinking of doing it with $500 or $ 300, but this time I'm going to do it with $1,000. I think it's a good amount. And I'm going to
the week ends. I'm going to compile every day and doing it with the broker I mentioned. So, guys, for now, since I'm literally just starting, I'm going to deposit the money. I've already done
my IB (Intermediary Banking) and I have my affiliate link with that broker, which I'll leave below this video. I have my authentication ready, everything is set, and since the deposits are in cryptocurrencies, it's going to be faster. So, I'm
going to deposit the $1,000 now and start trading with them. Let's see how it goes. These are days of economic events, volatile days, too because this isn't my challenge account, it's nothing like that. I can do whatever I
want, and I'm going to see how far I can take these $1,000. Here it is, guys. This is the broker I'm going to be using for this flipping. I suppose I have my account here. So, to deposit, I think I first have to
deposit here in the " Okay, let's see, dollars" section. 000 Oh,
deposit to the wallet first, and then from the wallet, I would have to transfer it here to my account. Let me see, I think if I click here on adv funds, perfect. Now
I'm going to deposit 000, and I'm supposed to send it. So, I'm going to send it now, and I'll let you know. Let me do this super fast because it's 9:13, and I need to complete it before I start trading. I just
sent the payment. It's supposed to be confirmed. Let's see here. Ah, now that it's confirmed, it should be here in the wallet, which it isn't yet. I'm
going to wait a few minutes to see if it goes here in the wallet, I'll transfer it to my MetaTrader account. Let's see, I'll let you know how long MetaTrader account. Let's see, I'll let you know how long
brokers like forex.com and Oanda is that to deposit and withdraw, you have to enter your information: US Social Security, all that kind of stuff. Let's see if it arrives. Ah, well, look, the $1,000 just arrived. So,
I'm supposed to be able to transfer the funds to... My MetaTrader account, let's do My MetaTrader account, let's do 000 and deposit into my trading account.
Okay. They should be in my trading account. Let me log in from my phone and see how it goes. Okay, here's the 000 in my
trading account. This is my account, Sebastián Rodríguez. Everything is perfect. Obviously, I'm not going to share the access, but this is my account. I'm supposed to be this is my account. I'm supposed to be able to trade now. Let's see, here you see the spread.
We have a little bit of a spread, it would be about about 1.8 pips, I think, more or less. Dead. And that's what I'm going to be how the commissions are. It's literally my first time using it. I hadn't
used it before, but I'm going to do it for these challenges. So, guys, once I have the funds and everything is ready, now it's time to trade. I'm going to see and analyze what I'm looking at for today. I already
have my analysis because at the same time I'm doing a challenge, and for today I would love to have a sell opportunity in this account of my 000. My goal is to flip the account. I'm going to be risking $500
in my first trade. Literally this. It might sound a little crazy, but I've never done this before. It's my first time, and I'm going to risk $0. risking $1,000. I'm looking for a sell trade. I'd love to
see it reach these points. If I risk $500, if I take a one-to-two trade, I could basically make $1,000. I think these flips are a little crazy, and I do them because you have to risk too much. But I'd be risking roughly
too much. But I'd be risking roughly 2,000 today. That's more or less what I'd be looking for. I'm missing one confirmation, which is what I'm waiting for to take my entry, and it
one-minute timeframe. I'd love for it to return to this area here. I already have all my confirmations, and I'll explain them quickly before it comes back. First, we have a structure breakout on the
a block order in the making, but this order of The block in the breakout, which is the one from yesterday, took a loss on my challenge account because of this, and now it's creating a new order block on the one-hour timeframe, which is great, a new
order block on the 15-minute timeframe, which was great, and the last one on the five-minute timeframe, which is the one I just great, and the last one on the five-minute timeframe, which is the one I just created at 7:45. Now that would be my last one- minute confirmation, and I'm literally going to take
my entry now. Let me take my entry. Let's see, I'm going to take an entry. I'm going to calculate the risk first. If this stop loss, let's see, if this
If this stop loss, let's see, if this stop loss would be 13 pips, then it would stop loss would be 13 pips, then it would be $500 divided by 13. I would have to open be $500 divided by 13. I would have to open a lot of 3.84. Let's open
a lot of 3.84. Let's open 3.84 to risk $500. My stop loss is going to be here at 13.07 at 1.05. 13.07 at 1.05. Oh, I'm wrong, it would be
Oh, I'm wrong, it would be here at 1.05, the stop loss
284, and the take profit would be 1.04. execute my order now, my sell trade. Let's see how it goes. Good luck. This is leverage, obviously 1 to 500, I think that's what I selected
to allow me to open this type of order. And wish me luck, obviously. I went into the red because of the spread. Let's see how it goes. I literally just recorded the whole process. You saw me depositing the funds, taking the order.
My first time doing flipping, it's really exciting. Let's see how it goes. I find this flipping thing a bit daunting because it's like doubling an account. It's not so easy to double an account, really, and even less so like I'm doing it,
but it's like an experiment. Let's see how it goes. Even the money I make, I'm not money. The money I make I'll end up giving away in a giveaway or this trade. I'll keep you updated. Well, friends, this is how I'm doing. I'm losing
Well, friends, this is how I'm doing. I'm losing 395 at the moment. Ugh, I don't think this is 395 at the moment. Ugh, I don't think this is for me. I don't think this is for me. I'm literally losing now. 37% of the account. I'm risking
50% of the account, let's see how it goes, but ugh, no, no, no, this is honestly a used to this kind of thing. I usually do 1% of my account, and this time I'm losing 40% right now. Let's see what happens if
this trade is lost. If it reaches 500, boom, it's gone, and we move on to the next one. But for now, this is how it's going. and we move on to the next one. But for now, this is how it's going. Honestly, from personal experience, it feels a little strange. It can be done; you have to be very precise with the
trades, you have to have very high leverage, but ugh, let's see how it goes. Honestly, friends, I'm going to end up closing this trade. I don't like how it's being handled at all, and today I'm
handled at all, and today I'm going to lose... ugh, the account is down to account. That's the bad thing about flipping. Look, I just lost 50%
of the account. I only have one more chance to recover this. Notice that it went very high at the end. So I think the best thing for this trade is... It would be
closing the trade. I have to be very precise in my next trade because I only have one more chance to flip here. So I'll let you know if I find another trade or whatever because I only have
one more opportunity and I'm going to take full advantage of it. Even if the account blows, remember this is a challenge. I would deposit another $1000 and continue with my challenge. Let's see how far I can take it, but this time I ended up
taking a loss. My first trade was a loss. Ugh, minus $500 for now. Let's see how it goes. Good morning, friends. This is day 2 of flipping my account. On day 2, as you know, yesterday I lost $500, and basically, if
I risk the $0 I have left, I only have one more chance to avoid losing my account in this fun flipping challenge. So, on the one-hour timeframe I'm logging on today, it's only 8:07. There's
news. It doesn't matter that there are economic events because this is basically a challenge on the one-hour timeframe, and in the dollar index, we have a good divergence, which I'm not going to talk about because Here, because I'd get very
technical, the point is that all my confirmations point to a buy order at this point using this order block, like this logo here. It wasn't manipulated, and what I want to do is right now I'm going to take a buy order at this point, placing
my stop loss approximately here and my take profit here. That's what I'd be looking for. If the divergence works, it should reach this point. I'm going to risk the $500 I have left on this trade. What do
you think? Well, when you watch this video, you'll basically see the result, but that's what I'm going to do. I love the economic event, and I think it can push the price up to this high. That would be my projection for
today. If not, what would happen is that the account would literally burn up, and if the account burns up, I'd have to deposit again. It's my first time doing a flipping trade. And this is what I'm observing, but if we get here, the
risk would be $500, but the profit would be around $10,000. The account would be around $ 2,000. Let's see if this is possible. And how does it go? Now I'll... I'm trade and calculate my lot size because the economic event is going to happen in 6 minutes. I'll let you
know how it goes. That would be my trade, friends. Let's see how it goes. I just opened it. Let's see if it distributes to the point I'm waiting for. It wouldn't let me open the full risk because it would basically blow
the account, and there wasn't enough free margin to open it. But if this trade is lost, I would end up losing about 300, more or less, almost 400. I couldn't open the full lot size; it wouldn't open because of the margin level. And that's how we're doing
for the moment. I'll tell you how it is. It's 8:11. Let's wait a while and see how this
trade develops. That's how we're doing for the moment, friends. This is the trade. We're going towards the stop loss, but don't worry, if this trade is lost, it won't stay like this. There will be revenge on my part, and I will end up taking another
trade that recovers what I lost. Do n't worry, don't worry, it's all under control here. I didn't think flipping was as difficult as... It difficult, it's just that I haven't taken a really tough trade yet, but this one is
the stop loss yet, it's still perfect, but I'm loses. Don't worry, I'll keep doing the challenge. Let's see how far I get. I'll get my revenge, I'll get my revenge, I'll get my revenge
because there isn't much trading going on today, but I'm going to deposit more funds and I'm going to keep trading. You'll see, I'm going lost. Look at this, friends. A few hours later I went back to the computer to check how the trade was going, and it manipulated the last low. After the news came out, it
went strong upwards. Basically, the direction was good, but the trade has $22. I've lost $800. What I'm going to do is the following: I'm going to deposit $1,000 more to have
enough margin because with just the 500 leverage it would be very difficult to recover. So I'm going to deposit $500 more tomorrow. I'll come back tomorrow, and this has been my trading so far. For the moment, I've lost two trades. I've
lost almost My entire account so you can see how interesting this flipping thing is, but let's see if we can recover. I think we can recover. This is a little more or less stressful because it's not so simple,
but here I manipulated the low, it took me out and boom, my account only has, let's see, here's 222. My account has, let's see how it goes. I'll continue trading as usual, nothing changes, I've
simply taken two steps, which is totally normal, the only thing is now with the super high risk so you can see what can happen. Okay friends, I just opened a trade, notice that there's about a minute left until the news,
and I'll give you some context: I just deposited another 1,000 because I've lost 740. In this case, I just deposited another 1,000 to do this flip. I put my stop loss here and the NFP is going to come out in a minute. This news
generally has a lot of volatility. I was analyzing the structure of the one-hour timeframe and I think you can break the structure and continue this support level, these highs, and that's why...
also love for it to break the daily timeframe structure towards a buy. I'm going to take advantage of the NFP for that. Let's see how I try to flip this account. Right now, look, I 'm losing. I'm
risking about $50 on this trade in this challenge, but I want to see how it goes. I want to see if I can flip an account with technical analysis, even though I'm not managing the best risk right now. That's what's
happening. Let's see what happens in the next 15 minutes. Let's put it, sorry, in the next few seconds. And now the news is coming out. Let's see how it goes. the news is coming out. Let's see how it goes. Okay, perfect. And for the moment,
we're gaining about $1,000, which would be about the amount we lost. Look how the economic event is going, super strong upwards. You know, I think I'm going to lock in profits around $1,000 because I don't
like this that much. I'd love for it to keep going up. When it's around $1,000, I'm going to close it. Let's see how the management of this trade goes. The news ended up going up, it ended up breaking the structure. Let's see if
roughly what I've lost so far. Look, I'm only making about $600. It's moving very strongly, and that's how economic events like this
usually are; they move strongly in one direction, sometimes they go down a little, then up a little. But let's see if I'm lucky enough to let's see if I'm lucky enough to take this trade.
I'd love for it to keep going up a bit. I'm not going to close yet; I think I'll risk it for today. Let's see, I'm making $300 and something. I'll keep recording a little. I think it can go up a bit more. I've
faced this type of news before, and sometimes it goes up strong, then down a little, like it's doing here, and then it ends up going up strong again. That's not something I want you to try at home; it's just a challenge. Let's see how far I go.
If it takes a long time, then I'll secure it with whatever small profit I have. But for now, this is how I'm doing. Let's see how the news plays out, and I'll keep you updated. Okay, friends, look, I'm already making the $1,000 I wanted. I'm going
to secure now, and in this operation I ended up winning $1,200. Perfect, I'm already ended up winning $1,200. Perfect, I'm already in profit. I'm $400 in profit. I was able to recover what I lost trading this news. And look, now the account
has $2,400. Well, good. Even if I more. But congratulations, currently I'm at $
congratulations, currently I'm at $ 2,400. I've only made $400. Let's see how far we can get this account. The week is over, and I'm going to continue next week. In this little flipping blog, I'm going to share a
weekend. But look, even if I had left it open, I would have done much better, but it doesn't matter. I'm doing a challenge. I can't be greedy, and even though the technical analysis was correct, what I want you to
learn from this challenge is because I'm literally half-betting here. Because I don't usually do this kind of thing, and I'm doing this little challenge, look, it broke the structure, which is the important thing. What I want you to learn is...
Despite it being a major economic event, what we were expecting happened. We were able to recover that $700 loss and now we're up $400 in profit. Let's see how it goes. Actually, I'm leaving the
market for today. I've already recorded my part for today and everything went perfectly. Let's see how this account continues. Good morning, friends. Happy New Year! This is my fourth day trying to flip an account. I have
n't traded for several days, and I made this video to get back into the flow because Dominican Republic, the Christmas holidays came on the 31st, and it was two bad days for trading. So now I'm in Miami, starting the year, and I'm going to continue with
my flip. This is officially day 4 of the account. It's around $2400 of this challenge I'm doing. Everything is perfectly fine; literally, the account remained intact. I didn't trade again
until after the Christmas holidays, and today I'm back. But before going into trading, which is around 8 am, I should already be seated. I wanted to show you my new car that I bought here in Miami. I came to pick it up.
Look at this! This is my new car. I have it at my friend's house because I'm just getting my own place here in Miami. I live in the Dominican Republic, but I'm Miami for when I come to visit since I do n't have one here yet. And this is my new
car. I'll show it to you later because this blog isn't for... That's it, but it looks like my friend's. Look how nice his is too, and this is mine. I'm ready his is too, and this is mine. I'm ready to trade, friends. I'm going inside
now. I'm not very comfortable yet because I do n't have my studio, I don't have my office, I do n't have a perfect place to sit and relax and trade. But that's what we have, that's what we have for now. I'm doing
this blog from my cell phone and everyone here is sleeping, but don't worry, I personally am going to achieve this
challenge. Who is this? Look at this. Today, guys, I'm here trading normally, like every day. I'll show you, and what I'm waiting for today is a buy. It's January 7th, it's 8:11 AM here in
Miami, which would be New York time, the same time I'm officially trading. I'm resuming my trading for this year. Let's see how it goes with the challenge. Look, year. Let's see how it goes with the challenge. Look, this is how account
2402 is doing. I'll show you, it's a real account, it's the same account I've been using all these days. This is how it is with $79 in profit. Let's see if we can
increase this. I'm risking 50% on each trade and I think we're going to find a good trade today. What I'm waiting for is a buying opportunity. I'm using divergences in the dollar index to see how it goes,
but I'll update you as soon as I see a trade. The mission of this account is to see if we can take it to 4000 or 5000. Let's see how far we can take this flip with the spreads and everything I'm
currently trading, and I'll keep you updated. But now we're officially back on track. Let's see, friends, I love this point for taking a trade. I've been waiting for this what I'm going to do is take this trade. Here I'm going to put my stop loss
at 13 pips, and I'm going to have my take profit here. Honestly, it doesn't matter if an because, since it's a Challenge and flipping account, it doesn't matter if economic events occur. So this is the trade I'm going to take. Now I'm going to
literally open the time. I already got my confirmations in 5 and 15 minutes. I like how it looks, and I'd love for it not to take too let me open the trade in a second. Wait. Okay,
friends, the economic event will be released in 20 seconds. Well, in 10 seconds I'll have my Well, in 10 seconds I'll have my trade here. I'm waiting. I opened it right now. It's a buy trade. I like how this looks for a buy with the
news, the economic event, because it never moved, moved, and I like how this looks for a buy. We just lost
470, well, 00. We lost the profits we had in this flipping account. I would have liked it to go up to the buy area, but it didn't happen. This is my second day trading the news. The first
time it went well, this time it didn't go so well, but it doesn't matter. We lost the profits. We are literally at break- even, zero profits for the moment. We will continue another day because today I don't think there are any opportunities in the
market. The truth is, if I'm being honest, I had a good buy analysis with this economic event, but by not trading fundamentals and literally only trading technicals with this fundamental part, it didn't go well
this time. And I ended up losing my profits. You can see here, I'm down 1% in profit. We'll come back we can Upgrading this flipping account has n't been as easy as I
thought. Today, friends, I decided to trade the London session. It's 2:31 AM, and I found a good buy opportunity. I literally just opened my buy position right now. I 'm seeing a good
divergence, and I think the price can reach this high without any problem, so I'm going to be in this timeframe, buying. I'm risking around $900 for this buy opportunity to continue my
flipping trade, and we'll see how it goes. I really have high expectations for this buy, and I love that. It's one of the typical entries I usually find when I log on to the London session at 2:31. This is pure manual trading,
and there are no economic events or anything in between. So we can trade happily, and if this entry goes through, I would be earning around entry goes through, I would be earning around $2,000 to continue
the flip. Let's see how it goes. This is how my entry looks, covering the spreads and everything else, and basically, we're at the entry point. I like this strong upward move it could make because, look at the divergence... It's good, it confirmed at
15, it confirmed at five, and although we're literally in the red, still very close to the entry point, I think in the next few minutes this could go up
sharply and surpass all these lows, which is my expectation. It's a good entry, and it's not common for me to be awake in London, but I stayed awake, and here we are at that moment, friends. My trade has already closed at the take
profit. It was a perfect trade, it reached the take profit, an almost one-to-two trade, it take profit, an almost one-to-two trade, it was like one-to-one. No, it was was like one-to-one. No, it was almost one-to-two, but like 50, and I won, yes,
almost one-to-two, one trade, following the strategy. And the truth is, this challenge share with you tomorrow because it's a little late, it's 3:79 in the morning, but the challenge has given me
many conclusions, experiences, and many things to learn that I'm going to teach you tomorrow. But how great it is to go to sleep with a winning trade, with the account in positive territory, after several losses, after several
interesting and emotional moments trading here. See you tomorrow, we already have a winning trade. Hello friends, how are you? It's 4 AM and I just finished trading, sending the trades because I was sending them to
the entire Telegram community, and I wanted to record this video because I've learned record this video because I've learned some lessons from this challenge. First, I've realized that when I trade economic events, trying to find
entries that maybe don't make much sense, I can win by luck, but I Second, when I try to find entries that are outside the strategy, I also the confirmations come through. We've seen over
these days that I've been able to keep track. First, I started with 1000, then they were lost, then I came back with 1000 again and managed to get to 3000 and something, and honestly, I'm going to stop the challenge here, at least for this flip. I'll do another one
later, obviously, but I realized that I trade much better when I follow my strategy to the letter. Among the conclusions of all this, I want you to see that a trader can consistently make a profit if they have a
profitable strategy that tells them what to do and when. In my case, it's a fence manual; it tells me when to enter, when to exit, and how to hold. strategy, right here on this YouTube channel, look for the video called "
Sense Strategy," and in that video, you'll learn what I did in this trade. So, this week and the past weeks since I started the challenge have been interesting because it hasn't been so comfortable for me to risk a
lot by trading when there aren't many good trades, and that's why I my strategy is working, and it works incredibly well in London and New York. We can conclude from this challenge that it's better to trade with a
strategy that tells you everything you have to do before entering, that it's not good to trade based on news because we can win many times, but we can also lose many times, and we can't be in that win-lose situation. We have to have
the odds in our favor, and third, we need to be disciplined and responsible with our trading plan. Today, when I followed my trading plan, it turned out to be turned out to be the day I was able to keep the account positive, to move forward and
recover all the past losses, even though the account literally almost burned up at the beginning. Thanks to being able to follow the strategy and stay disciplined, I was able to improve and reach... 3,000 and something, maybe this
