[00:00] Angus Reid Forum is not a typical survey site.&nbsp; It runs more like an opinion research panel,&nbsp;&nbsp; which makes the whole experience quite different&nbsp; from most other service sites. In this video,&nbsp;&nbsp; I'll go over exactly what to expect, the pros and&nbsp; the cons, and I will also be withdrawing $25 live,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:14] so you can see the payment proof for yourself,&nbsp; and then decide if it's for you or not.&nbsp;&nbsp; So, Angus Reid forum is, as mentioned, quite a bit&nbsp; different than most other survey sites. And you&nbsp;&nbsp;
[00:26] will see what I mean when we go over some examples&nbsp; of the type of research and what it offers. And&nbsp;&nbsp; it is of course free to join and you can see I&nbsp; actually managed to get a special joining bonus. I&nbsp;&nbsp; have a landing page here. And it's kind of like a chat&nbsp; message, the way you reply to them. Personally,&nbsp;&nbsp; I actually really like that way of taking surveys.&nbsp; And on top of that, you'll actually get 200 bonus&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:12] points if you do this. And they will only use the&nbsp; phone number to send text messages when surveys&nbsp;&nbsp; are ready. And you don't have to do that. It's&nbsp; something you can choose. So, just wanted to make&nbsp;&nbsp; that clear. You can also just choose to just give&nbsp; your email address and then get started that way.&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:25] So, let me now log in and then we'll take a closer&nbsp; look at what it offers. So, when you sign up,&nbsp;&nbsp; you go through a welcome journey and it's&nbsp; actually quite fast and the profile questions&nbsp;&nbsp; that you need to fill out. It doesn't take long.&nbsp; There some survey sites and I've tested hundreds&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:40] of them and if you have tested different survey sites, I'm sure you have tried some where it just&nbsp;&nbsp; takes like half an hour to fill out a profile or&nbsp; something like that. That's not the case here. So,&nbsp;&nbsp; I do like that. But a very good idea to definitely&nbsp; make sure to fill out all the questions honestly&nbsp;&nbsp;
[01:53] because that means that usually there are less&nbsp; screen outs then and it's easier for them to&nbsp;&nbsp; match the right surveys with you. And when you're&nbsp; inside you can see the surveys as mentioned you&nbsp;&nbsp; can also use your phone number so you will also&nbsp; get them via phone if it is. But other than that&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:07] you can scroll down and you can see the different&nbsp; surveys. You can see the estimated length and the&nbsp;&nbsp; amount of points you will get. We'll get to the&nbsp; value of the points a little bit later but can&nbsp;&nbsp; just quickly say that for example this one 5&nbsp; minutes $1. So quite high paying compared to&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:20] regular surveys. But the survey topics here&nbsp; are usually also quite different because the&nbsp;&nbsp; surveys in general contribute to understanding&nbsp; public opinion on ,for example, politics, culture&nbsp;&nbsp; or consumer topics. So it's not the same surveys&nbsp; you find on many other platforms. So the responses&nbsp;&nbsp;
[02:37] are actually used in studies for example that&nbsp; can inform media, businesses and policy makers.&nbsp;&nbsp; So this makes it quite different. Your data is not&nbsp; just ending up in a data pool. It's actually used&nbsp;&nbsp; for real feedback. And personally, I really&nbsp; like that because it can be a great way to share&nbsp;&nbsp;

But that also means that they don't&nbsp; have this huge poll of surveys that some surveys&nbsp;&nbsp; have, but the ones that they have here are&nbsp; some that you cannot find on other platforms.&nbsp;&nbsp; And the whole survey experience is also quite&nbsp; different. You can see it is more like a chat.&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:08] And I personally actually really like this&nbsp; way of taking surveys. I haven't done that&nbsp;&nbsp; many other places. So you see here the way it's&nbsp; displayed and it's of course works really well on&nbsp;&nbsp; phones. That's also what I mentioned earlier that&nbsp; that actually gives the best user experience. So&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:22] just wanted to quickly show you an example because&nbsp; it looks quite different than most other surveys.&nbsp;&nbsp; But because the surveys are so different also&nbsp; just keep in mind that there's not like hundreds&nbsp;&nbsp; of surveys available or something like that. You&nbsp; are guaranteed as a member at least one per month,&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:38] but many get more and often you can even get one&nbsp; per week or some even more. And I've also been&nbsp;&nbsp; told because I asked them about this that&nbsp; the availability will also increase as the&nbsp;&nbsp; panel grows. And overall also you should expect&nbsp; that it's more targeted invite. So it's not like&nbsp;&nbsp;
[03:54] this constant volume where you just see like an&nbsp; overwhelming number of irrelevant surveys for&nbsp;&nbsp; you. So it's more targeted. But that does not mean&nbsp; that you will necessarily qualify for all surveys.&nbsp;&nbsp; Sometimes there will still be disqualifications.&nbsp; So just keep that in mind. But overall, in my&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:09] opinion, there is less noise here. And if you're&nbsp; interested in contributing in real research,&nbsp;&nbsp; then it definitely is great. And I really also&nbsp; like that the surveys are relatively short and&nbsp;&nbsp; mobile friendly and just overall quite engaging&nbsp; as you could see. But we'll talk a little bit more&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:24] about the overall earning potential later. Just&nbsp; keep in mind also they do have fraud detection.&nbsp;&nbsp; So if you try to use a bot or just rush through&nbsp; the answers, it will be filtered. So make sure you&nbsp;&nbsp; actually give honest answers here. And in addition&nbsp; to the surveys, they also sometimes have regular&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:40] points boosts and what they call like an ongoing&nbsp; surprise and delight program. So that will help&nbsp;&nbsp; you earn more also and meets the payout threshold.&nbsp; But we'll talk a little bit more about the full&nbsp;&nbsp; earning potential in just a bit. For now, let&nbsp; me now try to redeem because I have enough here&nbsp;&nbsp;
[04:56] to redeem. So let's do that now. So you can see&nbsp; you need to earn $25 and that would be 2,500&nbsp;&nbsp; points. So 100 points is worth $1 and once you&nbsp; redeem it can take up to two weeks because they&nbsp;&nbsp;

You&nbsp;&nbsp; can see these are the many different gift cards&nbsp; and it also offers Visa and some more gift&nbsp;&nbsp; cards down here. It's sorted in categories. [06:11] what you can expect. So overall, it can take some&nbsp; time to reach a payout threshold because it's&nbsp;&nbsp; $25, but in my opinion, it's really great with&nbsp; some different surveys and the surveys are very&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:23] user-friendly and it's not just the same surveys as you can find anywhere else. And I personally&nbsp;&nbsp; really like this. I find them interesting and if&nbsp; you really like contributing with your opinion,&nbsp;&nbsp; then that can definitely be great for that&nbsp; because you can see that your opinion actually&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:38] matters when you share them through these surveys&nbsp; there. And the surveys also do pay quite well.&nbsp;&nbsp; You could see some examples of it there. And&nbsp; some surveys even can pay up to 500 points,&nbsp;&nbsp; meaning $5 for one survey. And also, as&nbsp; a new member, you can get a really good&nbsp;&nbsp;
[06:51] start through the onboarding. For example,&nbsp; there's this welcome journey as mentioned,&nbsp;&nbsp; then that will earn you 400 points. That's $4.&nbsp; And then if you opt in to the SMS, then that&nbsp;&nbsp; adds another 200 points. So then you're already&nbsp; 25% of the way towards your first redemption&nbsp;&nbsp;
