[0:00] You just clicked on the only video that [0:02] you are ever going to need to set up OBS [0:04] Studio for live streaming and recording [0:07] content. Because in this video, I'm [0:09] going to walk you through the entire [0:11] process from start all the way up to the [0:13] finish line. And if you are someone that [0:15] is brand new to utilizing OBS Studio, [0:18] I'm here to tell you that it's going to [0:19] be okay. Because I'm going to make this [0:21] video as stress-free as possible. And so [0:24] by the end of today's tutorial, your OBS [0:27] Studio will be ready to stream, record, [0:29] and clip content both in horizontal and [0:32] vertical. You will be able to stream and [0:34] multi-stream to all of your favorite [0:35] platforms such as Kick, Twitch, YouTube, [0:39] Facebook, and yes, even including [0:42] TikTok. I am also going to provide you [0:44] with a multi-chat widget for you to read [0:46] all of your chats all in one place. I'm [0:49] also going to show you how you're able [0:50] to split all of your audio sources so [0:52] that we have complete control over your [0:54] audio. And I'm also going to provide you [0:56] with the best recording and streaming [0:58] settings while also helping you set up [1:00] your scenes, your sources, as well as [1:02] your overlays. And so if that sounds [1:03] good to you, let's go ahead and let's [1:06] get started. [1:09] And so going straight into the video, [1:10] the very first thing you want to do is [1:12] download OBS Studio. So we need to head [1:14] on over to obsproject.com [1:17] and all of the links I'm going to be [1:18] utilizing in today's video is going to [1:20] be in the description down below so that [1:22] way you guys can go ahead and follow [1:24] along. Now as you can see, it is [1:26] available for both Windows, Mac, [music] [1:28] and you also do have the option for [1:30] Linux, but today we're just going to be [1:32] focusing on both Windows and Mac. So go [1:34] ahead and select the operating system [1:37] that you are currently utilizing to [1:38] download the installation. And then once [1:40] you download OBS Studio, you'll be met [1:42] with this particular screen right here, [1:44] which is going to be your [1:45] auto-configuration wizard. Now what I [1:48] recommend you do is to select the very [1:51] first option, which is optimized for [1:52] streaming, recording in secondary. You [1:55] are then going to select next and you're [1:57] going to make sure that your base canvas [1:59] resolution is set to 1920 by 1080. [2:03] And then you want to make sure your FPS [2:05] is set to either 60 or 30, but prefer 60 [2:09] when possible. This means it's always [2:11] going to prioritize 60 frames per second [2:13] unless your stream cannot handle it. [2:15] Then you'll have the option to drop it [2:16] down to 30 FPS. So we're going to go [2:19] ahead and select next. [2:21] And then for your service, you want to [2:23] make sure that you have Twitch selected [2:25] because inside of your settings there's [2:27] going to be an option for Twitch bot [2:29] track that we're going to select and [2:31] that only is available if Twitch is your [2:33] main built-in service. [2:35] So we're going to make sure Twitch is [2:37] selected and then we want to go ahead [2:40] and connect our account instead of [2:42] utilizing the stream key. The reason why [2:44] we want to do the account is because [2:46] it's going to provide us with a chat [2:48] that we're going to be able to put on [2:49] the side of our OBS screen as well as [2:52] the ability to change our title for [2:55] Twitch. So you want to make sure you [2:57] utilize this option here. [2:59] And then go ahead and just connect your [3:01] account. And then once that's done, make [3:02] sure both of these options are checked [3:04] and then go ahead and select next. It's [3:06] going to then do a bandwidth test based [3:09] on your internet, but we're also going [3:10] to do that again a little bit later [3:12] because these settings we're actually [3:14] going to customize it to give you the [3:16] best possible performance. But let this [3:19] go ahead and just run its test really [3:20] quickly. And then once that's done, it [3:23] should provide you with your final [3:24] results and you can go ahead and select [3:26] apply settings. And so now you should [3:28] see that your chat for Twitch has [3:31] populated right here. We can go ahead [3:33] and just move this over to the side. So [3:34] this is what I like to do. I like to [3:36] have my chat right here on the [3:37] right-hand side of my screen. [3:40] And then for my stream title, I'm [3:42] actually going to put that down here [3:46] on this particular side. [3:48] Let's see if we can get it to move. And [3:50] so now you should have something that [3:51] looks somewhat similar to this. [3:54] And so, what I highly recommend doing if [3:57] you want a little bit more [3:58] customizability [4:00] to your OBS Studio, I recommend coming [4:03] over to docs. I recommend checking this [4:05] option right here for full height docs. [4:08] And this is going to give OBS the [4:09] ability to take your dockable panel, [4:11] such as your Twitch chat, your scenes, [4:13] your sources, or custom browser docs, [4:16] and it's going to have it expand to the [4:18] entire vertical height of your OBS [4:20] application. And so, I'm going to go [4:22] ahead and edit this a little bit to get [4:24] it how I want it. [4:28] And this is ultimately what it should [4:30] look like. Now, if your OBS does not [4:33] have the same kind of color pattern as [4:35] mine has, and you want to be able to [4:37] customize it to fit your own personal [4:38] aesthetic, you can always come down here [4:40] to settings. [4:42] You can go over to appearance. [4:44] And then, this is where you can change [4:46] the different color for your OBS. So, [4:48] mine is acri. [4:50] Uh, but if you click the drop-down menu, [4:52] it provides you with different options [4:54] that you can choose from. So, just [4:55] select the one that you want, so that [4:57] way it can look somewhat similar to [4:59] mine. And then, select apply and okay. [5:03] And so, once that's done, we now need to [5:05] go ahead and we need to add in our [5:06] vertical canvas, as well as our [5:09] multi-stream widget. And so, in order [5:11] for us to do that, we need to head on [5:13] over to this website, atom.tv. [5:17] Now, the plugins that I'm going to have [5:18] us downloaded are free. So, you just got [5:21] to scroll down a little bit. [5:23] And then, you'll see right here, [5:25] vertical free download, multi-stream [5:29] free download. So, both of these are [5:31] free. You're not paying a dime for any [5:33] of these. I want you to go ahead and [5:35] download both of these plugins. So, you [5:38] just got to click on it one time. [5:40] It's automatically going to start the [5:42] download for you, as you can see right [5:44] here. And then, we're going to go ahead [5:46] and just click on the installation and [5:48] then we're going to go ahead and just [5:49] fully install this onto our computer. [5:51] And then we're going to go back and [5:52] we're going to do the same thing for the [5:53] multi stream. So what you're going to [5:54] want to do from here is you want to [5:56] reset OBS. So we're going to go ahead [5:58] and close it out and we're going to go [5:59] ahead and open it back up. And so now [6:01] you should have your vertical and your [6:04] multi stream plugin listed. Uh so [6:07] basically it can be somewhere down here. [6:09] It can be like anywhere on your screen. [6:10] Just look for a little tab that [6:12] potentially says vertical. [6:15] And then you will also have something [6:16] that says vertical scenes as well as [6:19] vertical sources. So mine is right over [6:21] here. But it can be anywhere on your [6:23] screen. So just look for wherever it [6:25] says vertical. [6:27] And so once you have it, you're going to [6:29] come over here. [6:30] And we're just going to just put it [6:32] right on the side right here. [6:36] Now if you don't see it at all, if you [6:38] don't have it anywhere on your screen, [6:40] what you can do is come over to your [6:42] docks. [6:43] And then you'll have all of these down [6:46] here. It says vertical scene, vertical [6:48] sources. We don't need the vertical [6:50] scene transitions, but if that's [6:52] something that you want to have, then [6:53] you can go ahead and do that. [6:56] I'm personally not going to do that. [6:58] And then we're also going to add in our [7:01] Atom multi stream. So this is our multi [7:04] stream widget that's going to allow us [7:05] to be able to stream to any platform of [7:08] our choosing. So we're going to go ahead [7:10] and just add this right over here. We're [7:13] going to take our vertical scenes. We're [7:16] going to put this on top of our regular [7:18] scene. [7:20] And then we're going to do the same [7:21] thing for our sources. We're going to [7:22] take our sources. We're going to put it [7:24] over the regular source. So that way [7:25] it's in this tab-like format. So all we [7:28] got to do is just click on it and we can [7:28] just go through them. Now I am going to [7:29] go ahead and just rearrange this. I'm [7:30] going to take the controls. I'm going to [7:31] put this up under our chat and just [7:34] bring this over a little bit. [7:38] And then we're going to take our scene [7:39] transitions and we're just going to put [7:40] this inside of our audio mixer just so [7:43] that way we still have it is just down [7:46] here. And so now what we want to do is [7:48] set up our scenes and our sources. Now [7:51] there are five mandatory scenes that [7:54] everybody should have. A starting soon [7:56] scene, a just chatting scene, a gameplay [7:59] scene, a [music] be right back scene as [8:02] well as a ending soon scene. So we're [8:05] going to go ahead and go over to our [8:07] scenes. [8:08] We want to go ahead and click on the [8:09] plus icon. [8:12] Uh we're going to go ahead and name this [8:14] starting soon. We're going to go ahead [8:16] and remove the first one. [8:18] And then we're going to go ahead and [8:19] just make the rest of them right here. [8:29] And so once all of our scenes have [8:30] [music] been created, we're going to [8:32] come back to the starting soon screen at [8:34] the top and then we're going to go ahead [8:35] and add in our overlays for our sources. [8:38] So the type of overlays that goes here [8:40] is going to be like a chatting overlay [8:43] in case you want your chat to appear on [8:45] your screen inside of OBS for your [8:48] viewers to see. [8:50] And then you can have your starting soon [8:52] animation [music] [8:53] or static image. Now there's a bunch of [8:56] websites that you can go to to get [8:58] overlays, but if you're someone that [9:00] does not have the money to buy an [9:01] overlay if you don't have one, then what [9:04] we're going to do for the sake of this [9:05] tutorial is go over to this website [9:08] hexium.net. And this website provides [9:11] you with a couple of free overlays that [9:13] you are able to download. If you just [9:15] come over to the search bar, [9:18] you type in the word free, you scroll [9:20] down, [9:21] and you select the option that says free [9:23] designs. You will then be brought to a [9:26] page where it has all of their free [9:28] overlays that you are able to download. [9:30] So for the sake of this video, I'm going [9:32] to go ahead and click on this one right [9:34] here which looks like it's incision and [9:36] we're going to go ahead and we're just [9:37] going to proceed to check out. You are [9:39] going to have to put in your information [9:40] here, but honestly, if you're not [9:42] comfortable putting your information, [9:44] you can always just put in like a fake [9:45] name and a fake email address. And once [9:47] that's done, you're now able to go ahead [9:49] and select this download button. We are [9:50] then going to go ahead and unzip the [9:52] file, and so we can now go back into OBS [9:55] Studio here. [9:56] We're going to go over to our sources. [9:59] We're going to click the plus icon, and [10:01] if you're someone that downloaded an [10:02] animated overlay, you're going to select [10:04] media. However, if your overlay is a [10:07] static image, which means that it does [10:09] not move, then you're going to select [10:11] image. [10:12] But since mine is animated, I'm going to [10:14] go ahead and do media. [10:16] I'm going to name this starting [10:19] soon overlay. [10:21] I'm going to select okay. [10:24] We're then going to select browse for [10:26] local file. [10:28] We're going to look for [10:31] the overlay pack that we've downloaded. [10:35] We're going to select animated. [10:37] And then it should have everything right [10:39] here for you. So, mine is starting soon. [10:42] I'm going to select open. [10:45] I'm then going to make sure I select [10:46] loop, [10:47] and then click okay. [10:49] And it's now officially right here on my [10:51] screen. And so, we're going to do the [10:53] same thing for the be right back scene, [10:55] as well as our ending soon scene. [11:06] All right, perfect. So, we now have our [11:08] starting soon, our be right back, and [11:10] then our ending soon. Now, [11:13] for this, if you are somebody that wants [11:15] to have a chat up here on your screen, [11:20] then what you're going to want to do is [11:21] head on over to this website, [11:22] lumiastream.com. [11:24] Now, normally I would have recommended a [11:26] Stream Elements, however, we got some [11:28] unfortunate news that Stream Elements [11:30] just might be shutting down due to [11:32] financial reasons. And so, because of [11:34] this, Lumia Stream is going to be the [11:36] best alternative when it comes to [11:38] setting up your widgets as well as your [11:40] overlays. The only thing about Lumia [11:43] Stream is that you are going to have to [11:45] download this onto your computer. But, I [11:48] promise you this is safe. I would not [11:50] recommend anything that I would not put [11:53] on my own computer. And so, once you're [11:55] on this website, go ahead and download [11:57] the application, which is available for [11:59] both Windows and Mac. [12:01] Now, once you download the application, [12:03] you'll be met with this particular [12:04] screen right here. You want to then go [12:06] ahead and log in with your Twitch [12:09] account. Once you go ahead and authorize [12:11] it, you will then be met with some [12:13] screens. You can go ahead and close [12:14] these out, and then it's going to [12:16] provide you with a couple options for [12:18] you to sign in to all of your streaming [12:20] platforms. So, that's going to be [12:22] YouTube Twitch Kick Facebook TikTok. [12:26] You can log in to all of those [12:27] platforms. Once you do that, you'll be [12:30] met with your dashboard right here. And [12:32] if you did not get the option to log in [12:34] to your streaming platforms, then what [12:36] you can do if you're on this dashboard, [12:38] you can scroll down to the very bottom. [12:41] You'll see option that says connections. [12:44] You'll click on it, and then it'll [12:45] provide you with the options to log in [12:47] to all of your accounts by selecting the [12:49] option that says add new connection. And [12:51] you will see it provides you with a list [12:54] of platforms that you can go ahead and [12:55] log in to right here. So, we're just [12:57] going to focus on TikTok, Kick, [13:00] Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch. Now, once [13:04] that's done, we're going to go ahead and [13:05] add in our chat overlay. So, I'm going [13:07] to make this real simple for you. What [13:10] you're going to do is you're going to [13:11] come on the left-hand side. [13:13] You're going to scroll down until you [13:14] see the option that says core. [13:16] You're going to select the option that [13:18] says overlays. You are then going to [13:20] select the option that says add new [13:22] overlay. [13:24] You are going to name this chat overlay. [13:29] Add new overlay. [13:30] And then you're going to get this screen [13:32] pop up right here. We're going to select [13:34] the option that says add layer. [13:37] We're going to come down here to where [13:38] it says streaming tools. [13:41] And we're going to select the option [13:43] that says chat box. [13:45] This is literally all you have to do. [13:48] All of your streaming platforms have [13:50] already been added and integrated. So, [13:52] for example, if I were to go over to my [13:55] Kick account and I start typing in my [13:57] chat, [13:59] you're going to see it pop up green [14:01] right here. And then if I were to go [14:03] over to my Twitch [14:05] and I were to start typing in my Twitch [14:07] chat, [14:09] you will see that it shows up as my [14:11] Twitch color. [14:13] Now, what you can do to make it a little [14:15] bit easier for you is you can come over [14:17] here to chat box settings. [14:20] Select the option that says manage chat [14:22] box. [14:24] And then you will see here [14:26] that it provides you with all the [14:28] platforms that will be listed inside of [14:31] your chat here. So, Twitch, YouTube, [14:34] Facebook, TikTok, and Kick. [14:36] We're going to select the option that [14:37] says change theme. [14:39] It provides you with five themes that [14:42] you're able to use for your overlay. The [14:45] ones that I personally like is going to [14:47] be the Lumia glass theme and the Lumia [14:49] bubble theme. [14:52] I'm going to go ahead and choose the [14:53] glass theme. [14:55] I'm going to go ahead and click save. [14:59] And then we're just going to [15:01] adjust this a little bit. [15:03] Then we can scroll down on the right [15:04] hand side. [15:06] We can go over to styling. And then we [15:08] can just make this a little bit bigger. [15:11] So, we can go to like 20. [15:13] Now, if we scroll back up, the one thing [15:14] that I like about Lumia is the fact that [15:17] we have an option for a horizontal [15:18] layout. So, if you don't want your chat [15:21] going up and down like this, you can go [15:23] horizontal from side to side. [15:26] And then if you want it, you can also be [15:28] in reverse. You can also hide the icons [15:31] for the website. So for example, like [15:34] how right now it shows the Twitch badge [15:36] to let you know that this message is [15:38] coming from Twitch, you can hide these [15:40] badges. [15:41] So that way you can put this on your [15:43] screen and Twitch will have a harder [15:46] time trying to figure out exactly where [15:49] the chats are coming from in case if you [15:51] run into any issues about multi-chat on [15:54] your screen. Now once you have your [15:56] overlay here, you can go ahead and [15:58] select save. [16:01] You can copy the URL. [16:03] And then you can head back into OBS [16:04] Studio. [16:06] You are then going to go over to your [16:07] sources. [16:09] You're going to click on the plus icon. [16:11] You're going to go up to browser. [16:13] You're going to name this chat overlay. [16:17] Select okay. [16:19] You are then going to paste the URL in [16:21] the URL section here. [16:23] And then press okay. [16:25] You can put this wherever you want. [16:28] And then if you start typing, [16:30] you will see that your chat now appears [16:33] right here on your screen. [16:36] And so you can make this a little bit [16:37] bigger if you choose to. And that's it. [16:40] Now we're going to head on over to our [16:41] just chatting scene. [16:42] And this is where we want to add in our [16:44] webcam. So we're going to come over to [16:46] our sources. [16:48] We're going to click on the plus icon. [16:50] And we're going to select the option [16:51] that says video capture device. [16:54] We are then going to name this webcam. [16:57] We're going to select okay. [16:59] You then want to go ahead and scroll [17:01] down here. [17:03] You want to change your resolution type [17:05] to custom. [17:07] You want to set your resolution to the [17:08] highest resolution possible. [17:12] And you then want to scroll down, make [17:14] sure your FPS is at highest FPS, [17:17] and then select okay. [17:20] Now go ahead and make sure that your [17:22] camera is at the full size of your [17:25] screen. You can do that once again by [17:27] right clicking, [17:29] go over to transform, and just fit to [17:32] screen. [17:33] And so now if I plug in my webcam, we [17:35] should now be able to see it officially [17:37] show on my screen. All right, so I am [17:40] now officially on my screen here. And so [17:43] since this is a just chatting scene, [17:45] we're going to keep this minimalistic. [17:48] Um the only thing we really need is our [17:49] webcam on here, but if you do have some [17:52] overlays, then you are more than welcome [17:54] to go ahead and put that here. Just [17:56] follow the same process as before. Once [17:58] again, if it's a static image, you'll [18:00] just come over to your sources, and [18:03] you'll just put in an image. But if it's [18:05] an animated overlay, then of course you [18:07] can do media, and then just make sure [18:09] that you loop it, and you're good [18:11] [music] to go. [18:12] Now what you can also do here, um if you [18:15] want to add chat, since that's what most [18:17] people put on their just chatting scene, [18:19] then you'll come over to your sources, [18:21] you're going to go to browser, and then [18:23] since we've already added our chat [18:25] overlay on our starting soon screen, we [18:27] can go ahead and click add existing, [18:30] click chat overlay, and then press okay. [18:34] And look at that, it's already right [18:35] here on screen. You can put this [18:37] wherever you like. Personally, I put [18:40] mine right here on the right hand corner [18:42] since it's kind of like a blank area. [18:44] And then that's it, you're pretty much [18:46] good to go at this point. So if we start [18:48] typing, [18:50] the chat [18:51] continues flowing, [18:53] and we can now go ahead and work on our [18:56] gameplay scene. So let's go ahead and [18:58] let's click gameplay here. And so [19:01] there's a few ways on how you're able to [19:02] add your gameplay onto your screen. So [19:06] if you are on Windows, what you're going [19:08] to want to do is click on the plus icon [19:10] under your sources. You're going to see [19:12] options known as display capture, game [19:15] capture, and window capture. If you [19:18] decide to do display capture, you are [19:20] going to then select a specific display [19:23] such as your monitor screen. So, for [19:26] this, I would just go ahead and select [19:28] my primary monitor. You will see that it [19:31] appears directly on my screen, and then [19:34] you can resize this to fit your [19:36] particular screen if it's not fit [19:39] correctly. Now, I have a ultra-wide [19:42] monitor, so that's the reason why you [19:43] guys are going to see black bars down [19:44] here. However, just know that if you [19:46] decide to use this option, it's going to [19:49] show everything that appears onto your [19:53] screen. And so, if you don't want that, [19:55] then you have a second option, which is [19:56] going to be the game capture, and then [19:59] you'll be able to capture any [20:00] full-screen application. So, as long as [20:02] your game is in full-screen mode, it's [20:05] automatically going to show up right [20:06] here inside of OBS Studio. So, you can [20:08] go ahead and select okay, [20:10] and you now have game capture. And this [20:14] is not going to show anything else that [20:16] comes up on your screen. [20:18] And the third way is going to be your [20:20] window capture. And so, we can go over [20:22] to the sources, click on the plus icon [20:24] once more, [20:25] window capture, [20:27] and then if we were to go ahead and [20:29] select this here, this is basically [20:31] going to ask us to select a specific [20:33] window, and you will now officially be [20:35] able to see that Marvel Rivals is [20:37] appearing on my screen. Now, really [20:39] quickly, if you're going to be utilizing [20:40] the window capture, I highly recommend [20:43] changing your capture method from [20:45] automatic because at least for me, it [20:48] automatically freezes up on my screen. [20:51] So, click on the drop-down menu, and [20:53] then select Windows 10, and it should [20:55] automatically fix itself. [20:58] And so, go ahead and select okay, and [21:00] you now officially have three ways on [21:02] how you're able to add your gameplay on [21:05] your screen. So, choose whichever one [21:07] works best for you, and then we'll go [21:09] ahead and move on to the next step. Now, [21:11] if you're somebody that is on Mac, the [21:13] process for you is just a little bit [21:15] different, but everything else is still [21:17] the same. So, for you, what you're going [21:19] to do is head on over to your sources. [21:22] You're going to click on the plus icon, [21:25] and then you're going to see an option [21:26] that says Mac OS screen capture. [21:30] You're going to select that. You can [21:31] title this whatever you like, and then [21:34] for the method, you'll have a drop-down [21:36] menu with the three options, just like [21:39] Windows. So, it's going to be display [21:41] capture, window capture, and application [21:43] capture. The application capture is the [21:46] same as the game capture on Windows, as [21:49] well as the display and window capture. [21:52] So, for example, if you were to select [21:54] the application capture, you're going to [21:56] then select your display, [21:58] and you are then going to select the [22:00] application that you want to stream. [22:03] So, if you have your game up, you go [22:05] ahead and select it, and you will see it [22:07] now show up inside of your preview. Once [22:09] that's done, go ahead and select okay. [22:11] Now, go ahead and resize it to fit the [22:13] screen, and you're good to go. [22:15] Now, if you want to go ahead and add in [22:16] your webcam for this scene, just like [22:18] how we did for just chatting, so that [22:20] way your viewers can see you, then we're [22:22] going to go through our sources. We're [22:24] going to click the plus icon, [22:26] video capture device, and then you will [22:28] see that our webcam is still listed. So, [22:31] we're going to select the option that [22:32] says add existing, select the webcam, [22:35] and then press okay. [22:37] You can then go ahead and just resize [22:39] this, [22:43] and then you can just put yourself on [22:44] your screen right here. [22:47] And so, that's it. So, if you want to [22:49] also add in your chat overlay, so that [22:51] way it appears on your OBS screen, so [22:55] that way your viewers can also see the [22:56] chat, then what you can do is click on [22:59] the plus icon, [23:00] go back over to browser. You'll see that [23:02] we still have our chat overlay sitting [23:04] right here. So, we'll click add existing [23:06] once more. [23:07] Click on it. Press okay. [23:09] The chat shows right here. [23:12] And then we can just [23:14] put this anywhere that we choose. I'm [23:17] going to go ahead and just leave it [23:18] right here. [23:19] And you're now good to go. [23:21] And so now what we're going to do is add [23:23] in the rest of our platforms that we're [23:24] going to be streaming to. So, if you are [23:27] someone that's going to be streaming to [23:28] Kick, YouTube, Facebook, or even TikTok, [23:32] this is going to be for you. So, to add [23:34] the rest of your platforms, we need to [23:35] go over to the Aitum multistream doc. [23:38] We need to click on the gears icon. [23:41] It's going to bring up our main canvas, [23:43] which is our horizontal canvas. [23:46] And it's also going to bring in a tab [23:47] for your vertical canvas, which is the [23:49] vertical canvas right here. [23:51] We are going to select the main canvas. [23:54] We're going to select add output. [23:56] And then you will see that it provides [23:58] you with all the services that we are [24:00] able to utilize. So, we got YouTube, [24:02] TikTok, Facebook, Kick. And if there's [24:04] anywhere else you want to stream to, you [24:06] can also do a custom destination, which [24:08] is right here. Let's go ahead and let's [24:10] do YouTube for now. So, we're going to [24:11] click on it. It's automatically going to [24:13] provide us with our YouTube server. So, [24:15] the only thing we got to do is come down [24:17] here to YouTube stream key. [24:19] We're going to click on this link right [24:20] here. It's going to take us directly to [24:23] our YouTube dashboard if you are already [24:25] signed in to your YouTube account. [24:28] Once you are on this page, [24:30] the only thing you need to do is just [24:32] press on the copy button [24:34] to get your stream key. [24:37] You're going to go back into OBS Studio, [24:39] and you're just going to paste it right [24:41] here. You're then going to select create [24:43] output. [24:44] And you have now successfully added [24:46] YouTube. [24:47] So, we're going to do the same thing for [24:48] Kick and Facebook. [24:54] Now, for Facebook, it is a little [24:56] different. Uh on here, what you're going [24:58] to do is click right here inside this [25:00] box to set up your live video. Once the [25:03] page load, you are going to select the [25:05] option that says streaming software, and [25:07] then you will have your stream key [25:09] listed right here. Just go ahead and [25:11] click copy, [25:12] and then you can paste it inside of OBS [25:14] Studio. [25:16] Now, as a reminder, you do not have to [25:18] do Twitch because Twitch is [25:19] automatically built inside of Aitum [25:22] Multistream already because we have [25:24] already added our Twitch account inside [25:27] of OBS Studio. So, there's no need to [25:28] add it cuz it's already there. [25:31] So, once that's done, we can select [25:33] okay. You will see now that we have the [25:35] platforms that we can stream to. And so, [25:37] to now set up our vertical canvas so [25:39] that we can stream to YouTube Shorts, [25:41] what we're going to do is click on the [25:43] gear icon once more. [25:46] We're now going to go over to vertical [25:47] canvas, [25:48] and we're just going to add YouTube once [25:51] again. [25:52] So, click on this link again to go ahead [25:53] and bring up your YouTube dashboard. And [25:56] then, what we're going to do here this [25:57] time is we're going to add in a [25:59] different stream key. So, you're going [26:01] to come up to the top. You're going to [26:03] click on this drop-down menu right here [26:05] that says default stream. [26:07] And then, you what we're going to do is [26:08] create a new stream key. [26:12] We're going to name this vertical, [26:14] and then we're just going to click on [26:15] okay. So, now we have a vertical stream [26:17] key, and then we have our default stream [26:19] key. So, we're going to go ahead and [26:21] copy our vertical. [26:24] We're going to go back to OBS Studio, [26:26] and we're going to paste that stream key [26:27] right here. [26:29] We're going to now create the output, [26:31] and you're now good to go. So, we're [26:32] going to go ahead and select okay. [26:34] And so, now we have a vertical canvas as [26:37] well as our horizontal canvas. So, we [26:39] can now stream to Twitch, [music] Kick, [26:41] YouTube, Facebook in horizontal, and [26:44] then we got the vertical canvas for [26:46] YouTube Shorts. Now, in order for us to [26:48] live stream to TikTok from OBS Studio [26:51] utilizing Aitum Multistream, there is a [26:53] few things that we're going to have to [26:55] do because Aitum at the moment does not [26:58] have the rights to get stream keys from [27:00] TikTok. They have not released that yet. [27:02] And so, I do want to go ahead and inform [27:04] you that this is going to be a [27:06] workaround method. And in order for us [27:08] to do this, we are going to have to go [27:10] to this website, streamlabs.com, [27:12] and you're going to have to download [27:14] Streamlabs OBS. And once you've [27:16] downloaded Streamlabs OBS, you are also [27:19] going to have to come over to this [27:20] GitHub page, which once again is going [27:22] to be linked in the description of [27:24] today's video, and you're going to have [27:25] to download the Streamlabs TikTok stream [27:28] key generator. Now, if you're on [27:30] Windows, you want to download this, and [27:32] if you're on a Mac with a M-series [27:35] silicon chip, you want to download this, [27:37] and if you are utilizing a Mac with a [27:39] Intel processor, then you want to [27:41] download this. Once you have Streamlabs [27:44] OBS fully downloaded and open, [27:47] you now need to go ahead and log in to [27:50] your TikTok account. [27:52] And there's two ways on how you're able [27:53] to do that. The first way is by logging [27:57] in [27:58] by clicking on the login button on the [28:00] lower left-hand corner, and you're going [28:02] to see this page. [28:04] You are then going to select the option [28:06] that says login to TikTok, and once [28:08] you're officially logged in, you will [28:09] see your TikTok username on the lower [28:11] left-hand corner. Now, another thing [28:14] that you can do if you're already logged [28:15] in to a different account, you can come [28:18] over to where it says settings, [28:20] you can go over to where it says stream, [28:23] and it will provide you with all of the [28:25] accounts that you're able to log into. [28:27] Go ahead and select TikTok, [28:29] and once you're signed into your [28:31] account, you might run into a situation [28:33] to where Streamlabs is asking for you to [28:35] apply to go live on TikTok. And if [28:38] that's the case, go ahead and click on [28:40] the link to apply, and you will be met [28:43] with this particular screen right here. [28:45] And so, what you're going to do is once [28:47] again, click on this button to apply, [28:49] and you're then going to go ahead and go [28:51] through this application. Now, some of [28:53] you might not have to go through the [28:54] application process. The moment that you [28:57] log into your TikTok account, if it [28:59] automatically connected and linked [29:01] inside of Streamlabs OBS, then you're [29:03] good to go. There's nothing else you [29:04] need to do. You can go on to the next [29:06] step. However, if you do have to apply, [29:09] then go ahead and go through that [29:10] process. You can get approved instantly, [29:13] or it can take up to roughly around 72 [29:16] hours, and they will let you know if you [29:18] got approved to go live or not. Now, in [29:20] the off chance that you don't get [29:21] approved, just go ahead and apply again [29:23] until you get approved, so that way you [29:26] can go ahead and move on to the next [29:27] step. So, once you receive the approval [29:30] from Streamlabs OBS, you now need to go [29:32] ahead and open up the Streamlabs TikTok [29:35] stream key generator that you have [29:37] downloaded. Once you open up the [29:39] application, you'll be met with this [29:41] particular screen right here, [29:43] and what you're going to want to do is [29:45] select the option that says load from [29:47] PC. You will then have your username pop [29:50] up in this box, along with the status [29:53] that says approved, and then it also [29:55] will say that you can go live true. If [29:58] this says false, then the only thing [30:01] you're going to do is click on this [30:02] refresh account information button. It's [30:04] going to refresh this, and then you [30:07] should then see where it says true. This [30:10] will not work if you did not first get [30:12] approved going through Streamlabs OBS. [30:14] And so, once that's done, you're now [30:16] going to go over to where it says stream [30:19] control. [30:20] You're going to select the option that [30:22] says go live. It's going to say your [30:24] stream has started successfully, and [30:26] you're going to select okay. [30:28] Now, really quickly, the stream key that [30:30] you're getting from this generator tool [30:32] is designed to work only one time. So, [30:36] each and every single time that you want [30:38] to go live on TikTok, you are going to [30:40] have to open up the generator tool, so [30:42] not Streamlabs, but just the generator [30:45] tool itself. And you're going to have to [30:47] generate a brand new stream key each and [30:50] every single time that you want to go [30:51] live on TikTok. Now, you also have the [30:54] option to, of course, put your stream [30:56] title and then your game category right [30:58] here. And of course, if you have any [31:00] mature content, you can also check that [31:03] option right here. [31:04] And so, what you're going to do now is [31:06] you're going to copy the URL for the [31:07] stream key, and you are then going to go [31:10] back into OBS Studio. [31:12] You are going to click on the gear icon [31:14] for the Aitum Multistream. [31:16] You are going to go to the vertical [31:18] canvas. [31:20] You're going to select the option that [31:22] says add output. [31:24] You're going to select TikTok. [31:26] And you're going to paste the stream key [31:28] that you received from the generator [31:30] tool right here. [31:31] And you are now going to go back to the [31:33] generator tool. [31:35] And you're going to copy the stream URL. [31:38] And you're going to paste that in the [31:40] TikTok server box right here. [31:43] You are then going to create the output. [31:46] And you now have TikTok added into Aitum [31:49] Multistream for you to go live through [31:52] OBS. So, you can now go ahead and select [31:55] okay, and that's it. So, now we need to [31:58] go ahead and set up our vertical canvas. [32:00] So, what we're going to do is go over to [32:02] our scenes and our sources. [32:04] We're going to switch them to vertical [32:07] scene and vertical sources. And you then [32:10] going to go over to your vertical [32:11] sources. You're going to click on the [32:12] plus icon. If you want to add your [32:15] webcam, once again, you're going to do [32:16] video capture, and you will see that [32:18] your webcam is listed right here. [32:22] We're just going to go ahead and scale [32:23] this down to size. So, I'm just going to [32:25] bring this over a bit. [32:27] See if we can locate that middle part. [32:32] And then, what I like to do [32:34] is just have it fit just like that. [32:37] And then, we're going to the same thing [32:38] with our gameplay. You're are to choose [32:40] whichever one you chose. So, if you [32:42] chose game capture, if you chose display [32:44] capture, or window capture, select that [32:46] one that you chose. I do display [32:49] capture, so I'm going to leave mine at [32:50] display. I'm going to go ahead and drag [32:52] this right up under [32:54] the webcam. [32:56] And so, there we go. So, now you have [32:57] your vertical canvas set up. You now can [32:59] stream in vertical. [33:02] You have everything that you need right [33:03] now. So, what we're going to do is set [33:05] up our audio. [33:06] And so, what I'm going to have you do is [33:08] go back to your regular scenes, as well [33:10] as your regular sources. [33:13] And if you're on Windows PC, I need you [33:15] to go down to the description of this [33:17] video. I need you to click on the link [33:19] for the Win Capture Audio Beta [33:21] application. I need you to download [33:24] that. [33:25] It should bring you directly to this [33:26] screen right here. You want to make sure [33:28] that you select the latest version. It's [33:31] going to bring you to this page, and [33:33] then you can download the very first [33:35] one, which is the executable. [33:37] Once you download this, and you install [33:39] it, you are going to have to reset your [33:42] OBS. Once you reset your OBS, I need [33:45] both Windows and macOS users [33:48] to now come over to your scenes. I need [33:51] you to click on the plus icon, [33:54] and I need you to create a brand new [33:55] scene named audio. [33:58] I want you to select okay. I want you to [34:00] go ahead and select this down arrow to [34:03] bring the audio all the way down to the [34:04] bottom. And what I would like for you to [34:06] do is open up your music player. So, [34:08] that can be either Spotify or Apple [34:10] Music. And I would also like for you to [34:13] join a VC on Discord, if you're someone [34:15] that's going to be utilizing Discord. [34:18] And once that's done, I would like for [34:20] you to come to your sources, [34:22] click on the plus icon. [34:24] I would like for you to then select the [34:25] application audio capture beta. [34:28] You are then going to name this music. [34:31] Select okay. [34:33] And then for your window, click on the [34:34] drop-down menu and you want to look for [34:37] Spotify Premium. [34:39] Once you find it, go ahead and press it. [34:42] And then press okay. [34:45] Now, go over to your music player. [34:48] And then just press play. [34:51] You should now see inside of OBS Studio [34:54] that the music is moving on its own. [34:57] That's how you know that it is working. [34:59] And so from here, we're going to do the [35:00] same thing for Discord. So we're going [35:02] to click on the plus icon once more. [35:05] Application audio capture beta. [35:07] Name this Discord. [35:10] Select okay. [35:12] And then we're just going to look for [35:13] the Discord server that we are currently [35:14] in right now. [35:16] Mine is right here. [35:18] Press okay. [35:21] And now you have Discord. [35:22] So anytime you join any VC, it's [35:25] automatically going to update it and [35:28] you'll be able to hear your friends [35:29] talking inside of your stream. [35:32] Now to add in your gameplay, what you're [35:35] going to do is click on the plus icon. [35:38] This time we're going to go to [35:39] application audio output capture. This [35:42] is what we've downloaded from that [35:44] application and you are then going to [35:46] name this gameplay [35:48] audio. [35:50] And then press okay. Now for this, what [35:52] I'm going to have you do is come right [35:55] here to this blue button that says add [35:57] executables. [35:58] And I just want you to spam it. Like [36:00] just press all of it until you are no [36:03] longer able to press it. [36:05] Once it's grayed out, I need you to find [36:07] the game that you currently have up. So [36:10] for me, that's going to be Marvel [36:11] Rivals. [36:13] And then I'm going to take it out of [36:15] here. [36:17] And I'm going to have you check this box [36:19] that says capture all audio except [36:21] sessions from the selected executable. [36:24] What this means is that everything [36:27] within this box, so everything in here [36:29] will not be heard on your stream. The [36:32] only thing that's going to be heard is [36:34] this one particular window that you're [36:36] going to have open. So, for this right [36:39] here is going to be Marvel Rivals. [36:41] So, you are then going to go ahead and [36:43] select okay. [36:45] If you look at your gameplay audio, [36:47] you should see it moving. [36:49] Now, of course, you also do want to add [36:51] in your microphone. So, for this, what [36:53] I'm going to have you do is actually [36:55] come over to your settings. [36:58] I'm going to have you go over to audio. [37:00] I want you to make sure that your [37:02] desktop audio is turned off. You want to [37:05] make sure you have this turned off [37:06] because you will not have any control [37:09] over your audio if you have this turned [37:11] on. All of your audio will end up being [37:13] in one particular place, and you do not [37:15] want that. So, disable that. [37:18] And then for your mic, you want to then [37:20] go ahead and select your microphone. So, [37:22] mine is going to be the Beacn mic. [37:25] I'm going to select apply and okay. [37:28] And now you will see that my microphone [37:30] is right here. [37:31] Discord is right here. [37:33] Gameplay audio is right here. Music is [37:35] right here. [37:36] And so now what I'm going to do is add [37:37] in our browser audio in case we're going [37:39] to be watching something like YouTube on [37:41] stream, we want to be able to separate [37:43] that audio from everything else. So, I'm [37:45] going to click on this plus icon, [37:47] application audio capture beta. [37:50] I'm going to rename this browser. [37:52] Select okay. [37:54] And then I'm going to look for YouTube. [37:57] So, make sure you have it already open. [38:00] I have it right here. [38:02] I'm going to select okay. [38:05] And now our browser should be right [38:06] here. So, that's good to go. [38:08] Now, for macOS users, this is what [38:11] you're going to do. So, you're going to [38:12] go over to your sources. [38:15] You are going to click on the plus icon. [38:17] And then you're going to see an option [38:19] that says macOS audio capture. [38:22] You're going to select that. [38:24] You want to make sure that you already [38:26] have everything up that you're going to [38:28] be using while you're streaming. So, [38:30] that's going to be Spotify, your game, [38:33] that's going to be your browser if you [38:36] want to like potentially watch YouTube [38:38] at some point while you're live [38:40] streaming or anything like that. So, [38:42] here we're going to go ahead and name [38:43] this music. [38:45] Click okay. [38:48] We're going to change the method from [38:49] desktop audio to application audio [38:51] capture. [38:53] We are then going to select the [38:54] drop-down menu under application. [38:57] And right here, you will see it says [38:59] Spotify. [39:00] You will go ahead and click on it [39:02] and select okay. [39:04] Now, if you have music already playing, [39:07] you're going to see it moving right [39:09] here. [39:10] And so, now we need to go ahead and add [39:11] in the rest of our audio. So, I'm going [39:13] to go ahead and click on the plus icon. [39:15] Go back to Mac OS Audio Capture. [39:18] We're going to name this one Discord. [39:21] Select okay. [39:24] Once again, application audio capture. [39:27] And you will now see an option for [39:29] Discord. So, we're going to go ahead and [39:30] select that and then press okay. [39:34] And so, now we have our music and [39:36] Discord. [39:37] And so, now we need to do the same thing [39:39] for our browser source as well as our [39:40] alerts. [39:43] Now, the process for setting up our [39:44] alert sounds is going to be a little [39:46] different. So, what you're going to want [39:48] to do is you want to head back over into [39:50] Lumia Stream. [39:52] You are then going to go back to the [39:54] core category. [39:55] You're going to select overlays. [39:58] We are going to create a brand new [40:00] overlay. [40:02] We're going to name this alerts. [40:06] Select add new overlay. [40:11] And then what we're going to do is we're [40:12] going to add a layer. [40:14] Select the option that says alerts. [40:18] Click alert. [40:19] We are now going to go on the right-hand [40:21] side and select the option that says [40:22] manage alert. [40:25] And then on the left-hand side, we have [40:26] to select the option that says add [40:28] alert. And so what we're going to do, [40:31] I recommend typing the word follower. [40:34] And then we're going to select the [40:35] option for our Kick follower. If you [40:37] want to do TikTok, you can do that. Um [40:40] but you also going to select Twitch [40:42] follower. [40:43] And then once you select those, [40:45] search for subscriber. [40:50] And then you can do gifted subscription, [40:53] Twitch gifted subscription, as well as [40:55] Twitch subscriber. [40:58] If you want to do YouTube, you have that [41:00] option. That's up to you. [41:02] And then once [41:04] that's done, we're going to look for [41:05] bits, [41:08] which is Twitch bits. And then once you [41:11] have all the other alerts that you want [41:13] to add, so you can sift through all of [41:15] these and you can look for which ones [41:16] you want to add in here. [41:18] You're going to select the option that [41:20] says add alerts. [41:22] On the left-hand side, you will see all [41:24] of your alerts listed right here for [41:26] you. [41:27] And then what we're going to do is go [41:28] through each one of these and we're [41:30] going to add in our alert. And so in [41:32] order to do that, we're going to go on [41:33] the right-hand side. We're going to [41:35] select the option that says image/video. [41:38] And of course, if you have a static [41:40] image, you're going to choose image. If [41:42] you have a video, you're going to choose [41:44] option that says change video. And so [41:46] what I'm going to do here is I'm going [41:47] to go ahead and select change video. And [41:49] this is going to be the screen that [41:51] showcases the alerts that you've [41:52] imported. As you can see, I already [41:54] imported some, but what you're going to [41:56] do is you're going to come on the lower [41:58] right-hand corner. You're going to [41:59] select the option that says upload [42:01] files. And your overlay packs should [42:03] have alerts already built for those in a [42:07] separate file. If you do not have them, [42:10] or if they did not provide that to you, [42:12] then I recommend going over to this [42:14] website, etsy.com, and you can actually [42:17] buy some alerts. They have really good, [42:20] decent, animated alerts that's very [42:23] clean, and it can fit almost any [42:25] aesthetic, and you can get them fairly [42:27] cheap if you have the money to buy them. [42:30] However, if you don't, then I will leave [42:32] a link to a few websites in which you [42:34] can get animated alerts [42:37] 100% for free. And now, once you [42:39] selected your overlays, [42:41] you're going to go ahead and select [42:42] open, and you're going to import all of [42:45] your files, and it's going to look just [42:46] like this. And so, now for the fact that [42:48] I'm adding in a follower alert, I'm [42:50] going to go ahead and select follower. [42:54] And then I can come down here to layout, [42:56] and then I'm going to come down here to [42:57] where it says push text, and I'm able to [42:59] now adjust my text to fit inside of my [43:04] alerts here. [43:05] So, now I'm going to go ahead I'm going [43:07] to do this for each and every single [43:09] alert that's on the left-hand side of my [43:11] screen. [43:12] And so, now that I have these done, what [43:14] I recommend doing now is color coding [43:18] our alerts, so that way we know exactly [43:21] which platform that the alerts are [43:23] coming from. So, for example, the names, [43:26] as well as like the tiers, we can change [43:28] these, for example, green for Kick, [43:32] so that way we know that this is coming [43:34] from Kick. [43:36] I'm going to do that for each and every [43:37] single one of them here. [43:41] And then, for Twitch, [43:43] we're obviously going to go ahead and [43:44] we're going to change this to purple. [43:47] Perfect. And so, now what we're going to [43:49] do is add in our alert audio. And so, [43:52] what we're going to do is come on the [43:53] right-hand side, we're going to select [43:55] this option right here that says audio, [43:58] and then we're going to click change [43:59] audio. [44:00] Now, if you want to know where you can [44:02] go to get sound alerts for your live [44:04] stream, I highly recommend checking out [44:07] my instance.com. [44:09] And this website has a boatload of [44:11] effects that you can use for your alerts [44:13] 100% for free. [music] So, let's say for [44:16] example, we're just going to go ahead [44:18] and do the Minecraft explosions. We're [44:21] going to go ahead and we're going to [44:21] click on it. [44:23] And then there's going to be option that [44:24] says download mp3. [44:26] You can go ahead and download it. You're [44:28] then going to go back into Lumia Stream. [44:32] And you're going to select the option [44:33] that says upload files. You're then [44:35] going to go and locate wherever you [44:38] downloaded the mp3 file. Press open, and [44:41] now you have it sitting right here. So, [44:43] we're going to go ahead and select it. [44:45] We can then go ahead and change the [44:46] volume. So, we'll put this down to like [44:49] 20, maybe 30%. And you're then going to [44:52] do this for each and every single alert [44:54] that you have. [44:56] Once that's done, you can go ahead and [44:57] select save. [45:00] And you're then going to go ahead and [45:02] select the option that says copy URL. [45:05] And we're now going to head back into [45:06] OBS Studio. [45:08] And so, now we're going to go to our [45:09] sources. We're going to click the plus [45:11] icon. We're going to select browser. [45:14] We're going to name this alert. [45:17] Select okay. [45:19] We're going to paste the URL. [45:21] And then we want to make sure that we [45:23] check the option that says control audio [45:25] via OBS. [45:28] Go ahead and select it. [45:30] You want to also go ahead and change the [45:32] width and height. I personally just [45:34] recommend doing 1920 by 1080. [45:39] You're then going to go ahead and select [45:40] okay. [45:42] And now if you were to go ahead and open [45:44] up Lumia Stream. [45:46] And if you were to select the option [45:48] that says emulate [45:50] alert. [45:51] And let's say we do follow. [45:54] Twitch follow. [45:56] Emulate. [45:58] Look at that. It's now right here on [46:00] stream. [46:02] Now, of course, we want to do the one [46:03] that has the actual sound to it. That's [46:06] going to be our bits, so I'm going to go [46:07] ahead and do that now. [46:09] And you see it now inside of OBS that it [46:12] is [46:13] coming through on its own. [46:15] So, we're now done with this. So, what [46:17] we can do is click where it says alert, [46:21] hold the shift key, [46:22] and then select music at the bottom. [46:26] We're going to right click, and then [46:27] we're just going to go ahead and we're [46:28] going to group the selected items. [46:30] We're going to name this nested audio. [46:35] Click inside the canvas, [46:38] and this is now inside of a group. So, [46:40] we can come back into, let's say, our [46:42] gameplay [46:43] scene. [46:45] We can then go to our sources. We can [46:46] click on the plus icon, [46:48] select group, [46:50] and then you'll see where it says nested [46:52] audio. So, we can go ahead and click [46:53] this [46:54] and bring this in, [46:56] and you now have all of your audio that [46:58] you need inside of your gameplay scene. [47:01] And then you can put your audio in any [47:03] scene that you want to. Once that's [47:05] done, we now need to go ahead and create [47:08] our multi chat widget, so that way we [47:11] can see all of our chats right here [47:13] inside of OBS Studio. Now, luckily, you [47:16] can also use Lumia Stream to also get a [47:19] multi chat widget. So, what we're going [47:21] to do is go ahead and open it right back [47:23] up. And now, in order for you to get the [47:25] widget, what you're going to want to do [47:27] is you're going to want to go over to [47:29] streaming tools, [47:31] and then you're going to select the [47:32] option that says Lumia link. On the [47:34] right hand side, it's going to provide [47:36] you with the option for the doc chat. [47:39] You're going to go ahead and copy the [47:40] link, [47:42] minimize Lumia Stream. [47:44] You're then going to go to your docs [47:45] inside of OBS Studio. [47:48] You're going to create a custom browser [47:50] dock. [47:52] And as you can see, I already have it [47:53] right here, but I'm I'm to go ahead and [47:55] I'm just going to [47:56] paste the link that I received. I'm [47:58] going to click apply. [48:01] And it should automatically pop up for [48:03] you. [48:04] So, it should look [48:08] like this. [48:10] So, you can go ahead and you can just [48:11] dock it right here. [48:14] And the cool thing about this is that [48:15] you can change the background to have [48:19] any theme that you want. So, if there's [48:21] like any kind of wallpaper that you want [48:23] to have to put in the background, you [48:25] are more than welcome to do that. So, [48:27] basically what you're going to do, if [48:29] you want to change that, is by going to [48:31] the gear icon. [48:33] And then it's going to provide you with [48:34] some options. If you scroll down a [48:36] little bit, [48:37] it's going to bring you to the [48:39] background image URL. So, let's say we [48:42] go over to Google. [48:44] And then let's say we type in 4K [48:48] wallpapers. [48:50] And then we look at an image. [48:52] And let's say you want this wallpaper [48:56] right here. [48:57] If you right click on it and you copy [48:59] the image address, [49:01] and then if you paste it inside of Lumia [49:03] Stream right here, click on the gear [49:05] icon, you will see the background had [49:08] changed. [49:10] And then if you want to, you can go back [49:12] into the gear icon [49:14] and you can change the blur intensity. [49:16] So, if we put this at zero, you would be [49:18] able to see the full picture. [49:21] And then if we were to bring it to 25, [49:24] which I think that's a sweet spot, [49:27] you now have a nice blurred image. [49:30] So, you can have this set to any type of [49:32] theme that you want, and I think that's [49:34] pretty cool. [49:36] So, now what we want to do is configure [49:37] our quality settings, so that way we can [49:39] have a good-looking stream and [49:41] recording. So, what you're going to want [49:43] to do is go over to your settings inside [49:45] of OBS. [49:47] You want to go over to the output tab. [49:49] And And want to make sure that your [49:50] output mode is set to advanced. It's [49:53] going to provide you with other options [49:55] down here that we're going to change. [49:57] You want to make sure that you're under [49:58] the streaming tab. [49:59] And then for your audio track, you want [50:01] to make sure you have that set to one. [50:03] You want your audio encoder set to [50:05] FFmpeg AAC. [50:08] You want to check this box to enable the [50:10] Twitch VOD track. This is going to allow [50:13] you to put your audio into a separate [50:15] track, so that way you can control [50:17] exactly what goes into your VODs. [50:20] And then for your video encoder, you [50:22] want to make sure this is set to your [50:23] graphics card. So, you'll either have an [50:26] Nvidia graphics card or an AMD graphics [50:29] card. Make sure you select it, and make [50:32] sure it is a H.264. [50:35] And then if you're on Mac, well, it's [50:37] going to say Apple VT H.264 hardware [50:41] encoder. You want to make sure that you [50:43] select that. [50:46] Once that's done, [50:48] go to rescale output. [50:50] Make sure that's disabled. [50:52] And then for your encoder settings, your [50:54] rate control, you want to make sure you [50:55] have that at constant bitrate or CBR. [50:58] They mean the same exact thing. [51:01] For your bitrate, I'm just going to [51:02] flat-out tell you to put 8,000. [51:05] If you notice in your stream that you [51:08] are lagging, then you're going to take [51:10] that bitrate and you're going to [51:11] subtract 500 until you are no longer [51:15] lagging, but do not go under 6,000. As [51:18] 6,000 is what's needed for you to have a [51:21] 1080p 60 FPS stream. [51:24] Now for your keyframe intervals, you [51:26] want to have this at 2 seconds. Your [51:28] preset, you want it at P5 slow good [51:31] quality. Your tuning, you want it at [51:34] high quality. [51:35] Your multipass mode, you want it at two [51:37] passes quarter resolution. [51:40] Your profile, you want it set to high. [51:42] Your look ahead and your depth of [51:44] quantization, have both of those [51:46] checked. And then your B frames, have [51:48] that set to two. [51:50] This should be a really good setup for [51:53] any PC to allow you to stream in 1080p [51:57] 60 FPS at a really good quality. [52:02] Now, if you are still lagging after you [52:04] bring your bit rate down to 6,000, then [52:06] what I recommend doing is changing your [52:09] tuning from high quality and you can [52:11] change that to ultra low latency. [52:14] Now, once that's done you can go over to [52:16] your recording tab. [52:18] And then what we're going to do is [52:19] you're going to leave your type to [52:21] standard. [52:22] Your recording path, you're going to put [52:24] this wherever you want your videos to [52:25] go. [52:27] For your recording format, I highly [52:29] recommend choosing hybrid MP4. This is [52:32] going to allow for your OBS to save your [52:35] videos in case something were to go [52:37] wrong. For example, if your power goes [52:39] out, your PC stops, if you run out of [52:43] storage space, it's automatically going [52:45] to save it from where it stopped. So, [52:47] make sure you use hybrid MP4. [52:51] Now, for your video encoder you want to [52:53] make sure you're selecting your [52:54] dedicated graphics card. [52:56] So, that's going to be same thing as [52:57] before. [52:59] Either Nvidia or AMD H.264 [53:02] or Apple VT [53:04] H.264 hardware encoder. [53:07] Once again, you want your audio at [53:09] FFmpeg AAC. [53:12] And then for your audio track you want [53:14] to uncheck one or two because that's [53:17] going to be your stream chat as well as [53:19] your VOD track from Twitch. [53:22] And then you want to select three, four, [53:24] five, and six. [53:26] This is going to allow for you to have [53:28] separate audio tracks for when you are [53:30] taking your recordings and putting that [53:33] into your editing software such as [53:35] DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro or [53:38] even CapCut. Now, for your rescale [53:39] output, you also want to make sure [53:41] that's disabled. [53:42] You're going to scroll down once again [53:44] to your encoder settings. Now, for your [53:46] rate control, I recommend you use [53:48] constant QP if you're on Windows. And [53:51] then for your constant QP settings, you [53:53] want to set this anywhere between 15 to [53:56] 22. [53:57] Now, just know that the lower that you [53:59] set this number, the bigger your file [54:02] size is going to be, but the better [54:04] quality that you are going to achieve. [54:06] 15 is going to be a really, really good [54:09] sweet spot for you. So, I use 15, and I [54:12] highly recommend you do the same. But, [54:14] if you don't have enough space on your [54:16] computer, then go ahead and increase the [54:18] number. Just don't go any higher than [54:19] 22, otherwise your quality is going to [54:21] look really bad. [54:24] Now, for your keyframe intervals, [54:26] once again, you want to do 2 seconds, [54:28] preset P5, tuning high quality, [54:32] multi-pass mode two passes quarter [54:34] resolution, profile set that to high, [54:37] look ahead and your adaptive [54:39] quantization, set that to two. [54:42] Now, if you're on Mac, what you're going [54:44] to want to do is the CBR, since they [54:47] don't have the option for uh constant [54:50] QP, you're going to do CBR, and then you [54:52] can also leave your uh bit rate to [54:56] 8,000. Once that's done, you can now go [54:58] ahead and select apply and okay. And [55:01] then you're going to come over to your [55:03] Atom multistream dock. [55:05] You're going to go into the gears icon. [55:09] And then for your main canvas, [55:12] you're going to go over to advanced [55:13] settings. [55:15] Now, there's two ways on how you're able [55:17] to do this here. You can leave this as [55:20] your main encoder, and what this means [55:22] is that it's going to piggyback off the [55:25] quality that you have from Twitch. So, [55:28] you go live on Twitch first, and then if [55:31] you decide to go live on YouTube, Kick, [55:33] or Facebook, you can do that, and then [55:35] it's just going to piggyback off the [55:36] same quality that you have for Twitch. [55:40] However, if you want to let's say one [55:42] day just stream to YouTube and YouTube [55:45] only, or if you want to have a specific [55:49] quality for YouTube and a different [55:52] quality for [55:53] Twitch, then what you can do is change [55:56] your video encoder [55:58] to your graphics card. [56:01] So, you're going to scroll down from [56:03] here. [56:04] And then you're going to change your [56:06] rate control to constant bitrate. For [56:09] YouTube, we're going to set it to [56:10] 12,000. [56:12] Your key frame interval should be the [56:14] same for Twitch. And everything else [56:17] down below should be exactly as you see [56:19] it on my screen. [56:22] And then you're going to do the same [56:23] thing for Kick and Facebook. [56:26] For So, for Kick, if you want to do your [56:28] graphics card, what you can do, and then [56:30] you're going to scroll down and you're [56:31] going to change this to 8,000. Key frame [56:35] interval is going to be 2 seconds. And [56:37] then everything else should be as you [56:38] see on my screen. And then you're going [56:40] to do the same thing for Facebook. It's [56:42] going to be the same exact settings as [56:44] Kick. [56:46] So, scroll down, 8,000. [56:49] Set this to two. [56:51] And then everything else should be [56:52] exactly as you see it on my screen. [56:54] Now, once that's done, you can head on [56:56] over to the vertical canvas. And then [56:58] you're going to go over to the advanced [57:00] settings for TikTok. [57:02] And then what you can do is you can set [57:05] this to your graphics card. [57:07] And then you're going to set this to [57:09] 6,000. [57:11] Everything else is going to be the same [57:12] as our previous settings. [57:15] And you'll be able to copy it from my [57:16] screen here. [57:18] And if you want to try to get better [57:20] quality, which you don't really have to [57:22] do, but if you want to, you can bring [57:24] this bit rate up to 8,000 and then [57:28] you should be just fine. [57:30] So now [57:33] make sure that the YouTube Shorts is the [57:35] same as the horizontal [57:38] 12,000 [57:41] 2 seconds. [57:44] Make sure you copy exactly what you see [57:46] on screen. [57:48] And you can now go ahead and press okay. [57:52] And so, you now have successfully set up [57:54] OBS Studio for live streaming and [57:57] recording. [57:58] Now, there's two more things that you [58:00] just need to do and then you are 100% [58:03] completely done. [58:05] The first thing you need to do is come [58:07] over to the vertical canvas. [58:09] You're going to click on the gears icon. [58:12] And we're going to set up our back track [58:14] so that way you can set up a hot key to [58:17] clip your content so that way you can [58:19] just quickly edit and upload it to [58:21] YouTube Shorts or to TikTok. [58:24] You want to make sure your resolution is [58:25] at the 1080 by 1920. [58:28] You can leave everything else as is up [58:30] here. [58:31] Come down to your back track. [58:33] Make sure that this is checked. So, that [58:36] way whenever you start streaming or [58:37] whenever you start recording, you will [58:39] automatically start your back track. [58:43] And then for your recording length, [58:45] you're going to set this to either 90 [58:46] seconds or to 120 [58:49] seconds. That's literally up to 2 [58:51] minutes of footage that you have to work [58:53] with. So, the moment that something [58:55] happens that you want to clip, you can [58:57] go ahead and press the hot key on your [58:59] keyboard or on your stream deck and it [59:01] will automatically record those last 2 [59:03] minutes or minute and 30 seconds of [59:04] gameplay. So, you can come right here [59:07] where it says save back track hot key [59:09] and you can set that hot key. Once [59:11] that's done, you can select okay and [59:14] you're good to go. [59:15] Now, lastly, we're going to come to our [59:17] audio mixer here. [59:19] We're going to select this little gear [59:21] icon. [59:23] And then it's going to bring up your [59:25] advanced audio properties. [59:27] What you're going to want to do [59:29] is you want to uncheck [59:32] everything in three, [59:34] four, [59:35] five, [59:36] and six [59:38] inside of track two. [59:41] You want to uncheck the music, so that [59:43] way your music is not being heard in [59:45] your Twitch VOD track, so that way it [59:48] can just automatically get uploaded to [59:49] Twitch without having any issues. [59:54] You are also going to uncheck the [59:57] alerts, and this is personal preference. [59:59] I just recommend doing that. Now, for [60:01] three, four, five, and six, what you're [60:04] going to want to do is have your [60:05] microphone on track three. [60:08] You are going to have your gameplay [60:10] audio on track four. [60:12] You're going to have your [60:14] Discord audio on track five. [60:17] And then you're going to have your music [60:19] on track six. [60:21] Your browser on track six. [60:24] And if you want to, you can have your [60:26] alert as well on track six. That's [60:29] personal preference. [60:30] >> [music] [60:30] >> You decide on what you want to do. [60:32] Once that's done, you're going to go [60:34] ahead and select close. And when you [60:36] record your content and you upload it [60:38] into [60:40] your editing software such as DaVinci [60:41] Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, it should [60:44] look exactly like this. [60:48] Now, I know that that was a lot, but you [60:50] have finally made it to the very end of [60:52] this video. And so, I am proud of you [60:55] for making it this far.
