> Source: [Quotex Trading Strategy: Best Indicators for 2025](https://youtube.com/watch?v=piFw_AgQwZw)

## Summary

This video presents a Quotex trading method that combines the Stochastic Oscillator and Moving Average indicators, with specific period settings and a 15-second Japanese candlestick setup. The creator demonstrates how to identify entry signals for downward positions, emphasizing the importance of both indicators aligning before opening a trade.

### Key Points

- **Indicator Setup** [00:15] — The method uses two indicators: Stochastic Oscillator with periods 14, 1, 4, 80, and 15, and a Moving Average with period 50. Both are set to SMA.
- **Candlestick and Timeframe** [01:23] — The setup uses 15-second Japanese candles and opens positions with a one-minute time interval.
- **Currency Pair Selection** [01:40] — The creator prefers regular currency pairs but also uses OTC pairs when good moments are not available in real pairs.
- **Downward Entry Signal** [02:34] — An ideal moment to open a downward position is when the yellow main line of the Stochastic Oscillator crosses the green line from above and enters a neutral situation.
- **Moving Average Signals** [04:41] — The Moving Average provides two signals: crossing the red candle for downward positions, and being above the candles while moving downward for a long time.
- **Stochastic Oscillator Signal** [05:27] — The key signal is that the Stochastic Oscillator should be in a neutral position and move in the direction of the trade, not necessarily crossing its green line.
- **Trade Discipline** [06:28] — The creator never opens a position unless both indicators give a signal, emphasizing that both are crucial for the method's success.

### Conclusion

The method relies on the combined signals of the Stochastic Oscillator and Moving Average, with a strict rule to trade only when both align. The creator reports four consecutive wins, highlighting the method's potential effectiveness.

## Transcript

Hello everyone. In today's video, I will present in detail the Quotex method created using two indicators and they are stocastic oscillator and moving average. I changed the periods
of these two technical indicators in such a way that in combination with each other I get the most accurate trading signals. both indicators are very important for this method. So let's
start by setting up the first indicator stocastic oscillator. The periods are 14, 1, 4, 80 and 15.
I'm leaving SMA here. Let's change some colors, thicken the lines, and that's all. The next indicator,
as I already told you, is the moving average. I want to increase the period to 50. here too, I leave SMA as it is by default. I keep the color to pink and save. That was all setting
up two simple indicators. And the next process is setting up 15-second Japanese candles and opening a position with a one minute time interval.
The last step is of course choosing the best currency pairs. I try to choose regular currency pairs and a few OTC pairs specifically for this method if possible. because if I can't find
good moments in real currency pair for a long time then from time to time I trade OTC pairs as well. I think I have a very good situation but I take into account several moments in the in the method
so that my transactions are more effective and profitable. One of these moments is one that I definitely pay a lot of attention to when I open a position in a downward direction.
In this case, the yellow main line of the stocastic oscillator comes from an upward situation. That is it crosses the green line above it and enters a neutral situation. This is the ideal moment to
open a position in a downward direction. And I think there are other moments that I will try to talk about when opening the next positions. and everything's going excellent.
I fixed pretty convincing win and it's really good. guys, this is also a very good moment because it is in a neutral situation. First of all, the yellow line of the stocastic oscillator
and I like it. The pink line of the moving average also shows a very good crossing where I increased its period to 50 specifically for this method because it gives me the best signals
as a result of testing. I definitely watch the pink line of the moving average which should intersect the red candle as you can see on the platform. Now the moving average also has another
function in this method and I will tell you more about it later when opening the next position. Everything is going so well on the platform. It's great. I fixed my second convincing win
and it's so so good. I decided to open the position in the downward direction. As you see, I was a little hasty and could have opened the position at a better moment, but it doesn't
matter. The main thing is that all indicators give me an excellent signal in the downward direction. I wanted to say again about the pink line of the moving average. in this case it is above
the candles and has been moving in the downward direction for a long time. This is the second good signal of the moving average in this method. The first good moment of the
moving average is when I open a position in the downward direction and the moving average line crosses the red candle. And this is the second one. And wonderful. I had a convincing
win again and again. I think I found a great moment to open a position in the direction. I would also like to tell you that as I have already told you, if the yellow line of the
stocastic oscillator crosses its own green line from top to bottom and enters a neutral position, this is a good signal. But this is not a necessary signal for it to cross its own green line. The
main thing is the stocastic oscillator signal is that it should be in a neutral position and move in the direction in which I open a position. In this case, it's a downward direction. That was all
I had to say about the stocastic oscillator and big red candle appeared. Great. It's so cool. I've
made four convincing wins out of four trades and I think there is no need to explain how powerful this method is. It works great for me because I have a lot of experience. I hope I've explained
all the details in detail and you learned a lot from this video. If these two indicators in combination don't give me a signal, I never ever open a position with this method. For me,
the most important factor is that both indicators are connected when opening a position because both are important indicators for this method. And it's time for me to say goodbye. I think I made
quite a big profit for today. have a a successful trading day and see you in the next video.
