## Transcript

This is an espresso martini, probably the most popular cocktail in the world right now. And this is moonshine, and it's the reason NASCAR exists. Now I thought drinking moonshine makes you go blind, but damn, little did I know these days it's delicious, smooth, and easier to drink than I have ever imagined.
And to my delight, you can make an espresso martini with it. Named after the way it was produced during Prohibition, under the cover of moonlight. And to outrun the feds, the drivers or the bootleggers souped up their cars.
And as a result, on the weekends, they'd race each other and NASCAR was born. Now, what I've got here is the legal stuff. Old, smoky, white lightning, which is one of the originals. But since the old days, they have modernized moonshine with new flavors.
And as a martini lover today, we can easily swap the vodka out for this good stuff for an espresso martini. First, we're gonna need two ounces of our old smoky white lightning moonshine,
half an ounce of coffee liqueur, a quarter ounce of our simple syrup, and finally one shot of freshly brewed espresso. Gotta be fresh because everyone knows the secret to a good espresso martini
is the crema has to be thick enough to hold the three coffee beans up top. Fill a shaker with ice and shake it hard for about 10 seconds. Then we're just gonna strain it into a coupe glass, three beans on top.
So yeah, now moonshine martinis are a thing.
