## Summary

The speaker delivers a raw, unfiltered rant about the current state of content creation, calling out creators who complain about platform changes while refusing to adapt. He emphasizes that success in this field requires genuine passion, resilience, and respect for the audience.

### Key Points

- **Pivotal Time for Creators** [00:33] — The speaker observes a divide among creators: some are inspired to start businesses and expand, while others complain and moan about how things used to be.
- **YouTube Surpasses Netflix** [01:40] — YouTube has surpassed Netflix in household TV viewership, meaning more people watch YouTube on their TV than Netflix, highlighting the shift to online content.
- **Creators Must Love the Craft** [02:20] — The speaker is tired of creators complaining about platforms 'ripping things away'. He stresses that success comes from loving the work, not entitlement.
- **No Guarantees in Creation** [03:02] — To succeed, creators must be willing to work for no viewers, no results, and face ridicule. Breakthroughs can disappear, and that's part of the game.
- **The Window of Easy Growth Is Closing** [04:15] — The initial boom of easy viewership is fading. Creators can no longer fake value or manipulate audiences; genuine connection is required.
- **Adaptation Over Complaining** [05:25] — Despite economic challenges, the speaker believes creators have a fighting opportunity if they adapt and work harder, unlike those who whine and blame platforms.
- **Remove Barriers for Genuine Creators** [06:31] — Lazy creators who refuse to evolve should step aside to let passionate, innovative creators shine and earn the attention they deserve.

### Conclusion

The speaker urges content creators to embrace change, love the process, and stop complaining—only then can they truly succeed in an increasingly competitive landscape.

## Transcript

the new setup, but here we are. It's a video that has to be done. Fair warning for anybody that doesn't use online social media and content creation >> [music] >> as a way for income or or their main
thing. This video really is focused specifically on entrepreneurs and content creators and artists. Look, nobody asked [music] any of us to attempt to do any of this [ __ ] I want to make that abundantly clear. And I'm
are going to be people that end up watching this video and realize like, First off, I'm noticing that we're in a pretty pivotable time right now. I'm noticing a handful of really good creators are inspired by certain things.
They're starting businesses. They want to challenge themselves with long-term goals and being able to grow and expand their brand in the content creation space. I'm seeing one side of people
genuinely enthusiastic right now, where they want to expand out of what they typically do [music] for more results. I'm seeing the other side as well, the complainers, the moaners,
>> the people that have already either built brands or the people that have [music] super easy to do this and they want to get started. Problem is, being a content creator, using content creation
to scale your business, it's been popular for a while now. majority of media that the average person consumes nowadays [music] is online content. It's stuff that we can actually create and distribute. I mean,
actually create and distribute. I mean, YouTube just passed Netflix in household TV set. Meaning, more people watch YouTube on their TV than they do watch YouTube on their TV than they do watch Netflix. With the mix of popularity, AI,
trends, new creators coming out, and new content being discovered, all this results in a lot of us content creators having to adapt. And look, I'll be real, it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to pay off. Like, I'm taking huge risks
right now. Like, this video in itself, creating content like this, it's not necessarily a good idea. On paper, it doesn't make sense, but it's a path that I want to go down. It's It's the honest, raw [ __ ] I want to produce because I
enjoy this [ __ ] And that is the point in of itself. I'm so tired [music] of in of itself. I'm so tired [music] of seeing on X and threads and social media all these creators that have built followings bitching about how things are
now, complaining that platforms have ripped things away from them. It's not how it used to be. Right, nothing is how it used to be. The sheer fact that you it used to be. The sheer fact that you even got a career or an advancement in
this industry in of itself is you, at one point of time, taking advantage of something that never used to be. I just think it's so important to remind >> if you want to get into this [ __ ] you have to love it. You have to be willing
to do this [ __ ] for no viewers, for no results, to be made fun of, to be breakthroughs, and then those breakthroughs go away. I am just so sick breakthroughs go away. I am just so sick and tired of the woe is me, it's owed to
>> in social media and content creation. These views that you see on the screen, the views that are going to be on this video underneath, these are people. These are not just mindless idiots
[music] in a game of cat and mouse that I get to control because of my emotions, because I want to make a million dollars in a year. Nobody gives a [ __ ] that I in a year. Nobody gives a [ __ ] that I have those goals. Nobody cares that I'm
>> [music] >> I have to do my job as a creator to take my thoughts, my interest, my hobbies, and communicate [music] a conversation with the viewers, with people watching these videos, real human
their own lives and their own problems. It's up to me. It's up to us to keep you guys in the seats. It's going to be for a lot of people. There's going to be a huge reality check. Live streaming,
content creation, short-form content, this big boom of popularity and all of this over the last 10 years allowed a window to open up to where it was easier at a time. That's not the case anymore. You can't fake the [ __ ] anymore. It is
getting harder for you to show up and try to manipulate people into sitting that feeds money into your [music] pocket. And honestly, I'm happy about it. I'm tired of the [ __ ] There are tens of thousands of amazing, creative,
appreciative creators out there that deserve the attention. And with every deserve the attention. And with every [ __ ] selfish, self-centered loser who thinks it's owed to them, that takes a step back and gets the hell out of the
everybody else to shine. I know this is a change of pace from what I produce on At least like there's no checkboard, there's no guideline, nothing. I'm I'm
I'm just ripping it. I've had to cut so many portions of this. Jesus Christ, I'm just so annoyed to [music] the pity party [ __ ] We are blessed to have this opportunity. Our time's crazy, sure. Does the economy suck? Yeah, absolutely.
But I have a chance. I have a fighting opportunity to do what's right and adapt [music] and evolve and work a little harder to do what I want for a living. And a lot of the creators nowadays bitching and moaning, putting pressure
on the viewers out there to constantly show up and support them. They have that same opportunity, too. But they're just lazy. So, I guess I'm making this video today for a couple reasons. One, if you're a creator that's been at it for a
while and you love this [ __ ] you have a real opportunity over the next couple years to hunker down, show your real interest, the things you're genuinely into, the things that you're genuinely passionate about, the things you love,
and go after stuff like that. You have a real chance to actually accomplish people out there that think this is easy, think that everything's rigged against them. That multi-billion dollar platforms just changed everything
overnight to screw you out of an opportunity. For the creators out there that have been doing the same thing for [ __ ] years and you don't want to adapt and you would rather put blame on anything else rather than wanting to
evolve, maybe it's time just all of you guys get out of the way. Just [music] stop. Stop wasting the viewers' time, stop wasting brands' time, stop wasting customers' time, and get out of the way of people like myself who love this
That's what I got for you guys today. I'm out. Peace. Deuces.
