Warcraft. And in today's video, I am going to show you the best places where you can farm all of the different lumbers that you will need to craft your decor for your house. So, as we know, all of the different decor that is
crafted by professions require you to farm your own lumber so you actually can craft them. This is a completely new system, but it is very similar to how mining and herbalism work. It is not a standalone profession, so you can both
have mining, herbalism, and lumbering at the same time. All of the different routes will be linked in the description. And also, I will put timestamp for all of the different lumbers on the video timeline. Before we
think we should go through some tips and tricks on how you can optimize your farming. So the first thing that I want to say is that if you go into options and you search for interact key, you see that you have an option here to enable
interact key and you can also keybind it right here. I have it keybound to F and this means you can now gather the notes without actually hovering over and right clicking them with your mouse. You can simply do it by clicking your keybind
when you are close enough. So this makes it really really easy and way more efficient farming because sometimes it's hard to find node with the mouse. The second thing I recommend is being a druid. This is going to speed up things
a little bit because you can always use travel form. You have no cast time for actually will add up a lot when you're out farming. Doing this will increase the amount of lumber that you get per hour. The lumber is warbound, so you can
farm it on your druid and then send it to your desired crafters. So, that is very nice. The third thing I want to say is that if you want to stay sane and be able to farm for longer sessions, make sure you use steady flying when doing
these type of farms because using sky riding, at least for me, it is way more active play and it's way more intense and less relaxing. So, I don't have the power of going for longer sessions when I use skyriding versus steady flying.
So, make sure you use steady flying. If you don't know how to do that, simply go to your mount tab, flight style up here, and this button here, switch flight style, and you will all of a sudden fly with steady flying like the old flight
style instead of skyriding. To be able to gather lumber, you need to go to Cis Row NPC here. If you are hoard, and get yourself the harvesting hatchet, you quick in the housing area by just doing a couple of quests. I'm on the beta
right now, and I unlocked it by simply doing one quest, and then I could get it's really, really easy to do. On the alliance side, I'm not sure what NPC is now you know what you're looking for. You will get this harvesting hatchet,
which basically allow you to track lumber when clicking on it and turning it off when clicking again. It is basically like tracking minerals and herbs here at the map, but since it's no profession, it's just like an item. So,
you to have two add-ons for this farm. And the first one is called Farm HUD. And the second one is called routes. With the routes add-on, you can import my routes from the description. So, make sure you do that if you want to take
part of my routes. That is everything I wanted to say. Let's get started farming the first lumber. Ironwood lumber is farmed in vanilla zones, and I have actually found the best route in Bellewood. I've been able to push over
300 lumber per hour with this route. But one thing we need to take into consideration is that I did this on the beta with no competition. So, I'm not competition, but I guess it has some type of force spawn, so you should not
be impacted too much with competition. But, as I said, I'm not 100% sure. But this is the route at least that I've been doing. And I think you should try it as well. In vanilla, I have found that it is most common to get one lumber
per gather, but you can also sometimes get two. And even rarer, it is that you get three per gather. Emma lumber can be farmed in Burning Crusade. And I've actually found that Teroker Forest is the best zone to farm this in. And I am
using this route when farming here. During this route, I was getting about 300 lumber per hour with one to three lumber per gather. Most commonly getting one per gather, sometimes two, and rarely three. Code Wind lumber is found
in Rafa the Lich King, and I am actually doing this in Schulosaur Basin. This turned out to be pretty damn good. For some reason, you get a lot more lumber in Wrath than the other expansions. So, I was actually able to pull off easily
over 400 lumber per hour here. You were way more often getting two to three per gather compared to other expansions. So, this route worked out awesome for me and you as well. Ashwood Lumber can be found in Cataclysm. And what I found out is
that Twilight Highlands was the best zone for me to do this. It was doing actually quite dense with nodes. And it's not the biggest route, but it was really nice to do it in my opinion. I turned out to get over 300 lumber per
hour here as well. And same here with one to three lumbers per gathering. Most sometimes two and three as well, very rarely. Bamboo lumber is farmed in Mistaria, and I'm actually doing it in the jade forest right here. I managed to
get over 300 lumber per hour here as well. So, it seems to be a common pattern. one to three per gather, but most often being one per node. Shadow moon lumber is farmed in worlds of Drraanor, but sadly as of two days
before release of housing, I'm recording this on beta, and there are still no lumber in this expansion. So, I cannot get a best route for this kind of launch, so I will have to make a follow-up video on this particular
lumber. But, I really do think that Shadow Moon Valley will be the spot for this lumber. And there is a lot of forest here as you can see. And I do believe if you do large laps here, it will be a great farming [music] spot. So
knowing my route, I think you should start by trying Shadowon Valley. And after that, if it's not good, try Nagrand, but I really really do. Shadowon Valley will be the best spot for the drain lumber. Belt touched
lumber is farmed in Legion. And I found the best route to be here in Vshara. If you want to, I recommend to pair this with gathering dream leaf as well in herbalism. Just make sure you get the legion herbalism enzant, which makes you
able to gather legion herbs very very fast so you don't have a lot of downtime when gathering that at the same time. However, in the beginning of housing, it might be more worth to just go for the lumber, but this is something to keep in
mind for later parts at least. I managed to get over 300 lumber here as well and one to three lumber per gathering node here as well. So, this one is actually recommend you to prioritize getting dream leaf to rank three if you feel
gathering at the same time. Darkpine lumber is farmed in battle for Azeroth and this I'm doing in Nasmir. I found this zone to be the best and after a lot of testing I found this route and it turned out to give me over 300 lumber
per hour here as well which I am very very happy about. You get one to three per gathering node. And also if you want to do mining or herbalism here at the same time or maybe even both, but I don't think that is worth it cuz you can
only enchant your gloves with one enchant to gather faster. So I would pick either mining or herbalism to gather here at the same time as going the prices have stabilized and it is actually worth to go for either the
herbs or the ores cuz they are also used in housing, right? So don't forget to formed in Shadowlands and I found the best route to be in Ardan wield. This route gave me over 300 lumber per hour
and once again one to three per gathering node. This one I recommend as well to pair with either mining or herbalism or even both if it is worth it price-wise. Dragon pine lumber can be found in dragon flight and I found on
planes to be the best place to do this. This little route you can find here and also you have the possibility to do mining and herbalism here at the same we have knowledge points in those professions. So if you want to do that
of have to get some knowledge points and do some setups, maybe getting some tools professions. So that is something that you have to keep in mind if you want to do it. I would say if you have none of that stuff, it is absolutely not worth
to do any other kind of gathering at the same time. But if you are, maybe you should consider going with mining or herbalism or both depending on the lumber here as well. and most commonly of course one per node. Dornic field
lumber is farmed in the war within. And here I went with Hallow. This was the however a little bit harder to test. I felt quite weak towards mobs. And here I was actually able to only get between 150 to 200 lumber per hour. I think you
can get more than this using this route. Maybe if you have a stronger character. This character is very weak. It is also on the beta for midnight, so it is not the retail. So, I think we're going to be able to farm this way easier and get
be able to farm this way easier and get over 200, closer to 300 lumber per hour doing this route as well. We're getting one to three lumber per node here as well. And once again, in the war within, we have knowledge points and equipment
in our gathering professions. So if you want to do dual gathering at the same time, highly highly recommend you to try to get equipment and try to get knowledge points at the same time so you get better at gathering so you get more
not worth it to do at the same time. This is something I will consider to do after a while when housing has been out and we can see if it's worth doing it because I think lumber will have a great price in the beginning. Okay, so that
was all of the different lumber and all of the best routes that I have been able to find on where to farm this stuff. I just once again want to say that you can do dual gathering at the same time on all of these farms, but you have to
consider if it's worth it or not. In the beginning of housing, I doubt it is worth it because lumber should have a great crafting value, making it not worth to even stay and stop for herbs and mines because you get so much more
value out of lumber. The way to make gold with this is to farm the lumber and craft stuff and put that up on the auction house. You cannot sell the lumber directly, but you will sell the crafted stuff. And the value of the
lumber will be the value of the finished crafted items minus the value of the auction house and then you will split that out on the required lumber. So that is how you can find out the lumber value per craft. I think it's going to be
absolutely amazing now in the beginning and I hope we can make so much gold doing this cuz that is my focus. Maybe your focus is just to farm lumber house and I hope that this video has been very helpful for you in that
