[05:22] in the void storm. [music] Uh the dungeon rotation is really good. Mythic plus is fun. Uh the raids are obviously there's an incredible amount of fights in those raids. Like it feels like top to bottom, there's a lot of
[05:35] good that's come out of this expansion so far. Yeah, and and one thing I'll say is I I feel it just in the amount I want to play. Yeah. Right? Like I want to log in
[05:49] every time every day as much as I can. Like I'll log in after 12 hours of working, exhausted, put the baby to bed. Let me get in for Right? And I feel like man, I feel like I've accomplished more
[06:02] in this season one already than I did in all of the War Within season one. It has been it has [music] been so much fun. I could confidently say this is, for me,
[06:15] the best opening of any expansion ever. Yeah, I think I think I could say that Yeah, I think I think I could say that as well. Like this is such a strong opening to an expansion. Like I I remember I was somewhat excited for the
[06:27] War Within, but like to be completely honest and real, there was a lot of problems in War Within season one. Like delves were kind of half-baked at launch. There was a lot of wrong. There wasn't any reason to push back tier
[06:40] tier eights. You couldn't really customize brand at all. Um mythic plus was a nightmare. Uh rating was good. I'll I'll give rating that, but PvP was bad still. It was all over the place and a mess. So, like there was a lot of
[06:54] aspects of the game that needed a lot of work. But like man, it feels like Midnight is like this is this expansion where it's like it really feels like honed in and just really sharpened. Yeah, and you know, we were talking
[07:07] about during the lead-up to Midnight. And I would say for us it started in season like right when season three of the War Within came out, we were like, man, if if Midnight just hits the bell
[07:21] of feeling like War Within 2.0, I would say we're doing pretty good. And that's exactly what Midnight feels like, right? It feels like a War Within 2.0. Because everyone knows War Within's
[07:36] like body, its skeleton, and the potential [music] it could be is very strong. What's up, Big Will? How we doing, baby? Welcome back. Always with Shout out to Big Will. How we doing? How we doing? Um and we're going to go
[07:49] a second, so leave your comments on how you feel so far in the expansion launch. through them. Um but it always felt like the bare bones and the fundamentals and the structure of War Within was so
[08:02] the structure of War Within was so strong. All it needed was some time, some adjustments, and slight changes, and what happened was we got the class Delves got substantially better, even though there are I do have my issues
[08:14] with you guys. Um they added prey, which I think it's a start to the system, and I think it's pretty good for what it is so far. The bones are there for what it could be. Uh PvP is a complete 180 for me,
[08:29] personally. I think PvP is very good now because there's not so many abilities, and now it's a chess match. Like Like as somebody who's doing a lot of PvP right now, it used to be like that when when we [music] used to play.
[08:44] Instead of chess, I would say it feels more like rock, paper, scissors. No way. No way, somewhat. Because like you could counter people. Sure. Yeah. I Yeah, I would say that. Like what makes WoW PvP good is like it's
[08:58] what makes WoW PvP good is like it's reactive gameplay, not like I just press my buttons and, you know, things like everyone should die. Like if you react properly to things, like you should be fine. Like you'll be okay.
[09:12] You could do the lowest damage ever, but you could survive if you know how to use your abilities properly. So, that's my point. Like with the pruning, it even helps PvE content. Like mythic plus has been easier. Rating is is a lot more
[09:26] visually easier to understand and not so many un- like unrecognizable mechanics going on? Like we can go into a fight and be like, oh, okay, that's the fight. Like after about three pulls. And understand it. Like [clears throat]
[09:41] I don't know about you guys, but man, the last few expansions, Dragonflight, there was a couple things going on in that raid where it was like, bro, what the [ __ ] is even going on? Like it's a little much. And then
[09:54] obviously War Within was pretty crazy, too. Like you go look at BrewTwister. You got sets of eggs, and you got to soak them in a different place. Then, >> Without the weak aura for BrewTwister, I don't know how you do it.
[10:06] >> I'm good. It was just a headache, so. Um it was it was it was a lot, but it just feels like right now you can go into anything in World of Warcraft night right now, and [music] and just understand it. And it's processable. And
[10:22] I think that's important. >> And and I want to say since True. You know, Shadowlands for for, you know, everyone hates Shadowlands. But, since 9.2,
[10:35] you know, like after the 9.1 patch when we got in Zereth Mortis, since then the WoW team has been cooking. Yeah. Right? Like, that patch I think was rap for it being Shadowlands. That was a good patch. Then, you go through
[10:48] Dragonflight, and I think Dragonflight did a lot to kind of heal the game and bring it back. We got the new talent trees. We got just everything that are came with Dragonflight that I think made the game good. Say what you will, but
[11:00] Dragonflight or not, that's irrelevant. Um but then, you get War Within, and start bringing in delves. They start bringing in things to
[11:12] to make the game more more well, one more solo friendly, but also more account-wide. Well, also just like I said, just more like like digestable. Like, a lot of
[11:26] things are very digestable. Like, it always felt like in older versions of World of Warcraft, like classic, TBC, [ __ ] even Wrath, like, if you thought about having an alternate character, like
[11:39] >> Yeah, it was going to be a journey. It was going to be a long, hard fall down. >> I'll say is I don't think So, like, back then, WoW was not designed in mind for you to have alts. Yeah. It was designed for Okay, you're This is your character.
[11:54] for Okay, you're This is your character. This is you. >> Yeah. It was designed for Okay, we're going to try to give you a lot of things to do on your main to fill up that time so that you could
[12:09] grinds. And then, you're going to do um now that's not the case, and they've said it. I There was There's interviews where they say, "Hey, we understand
[12:22] most WoW players have have alts and playing multiple characters." I forgot something like 80% >> Wow. of people or something have more Wow. >> that they played. So, it's like
[12:36] yeah, that's how the game is played now. Yeah. So, you can't make it such a slog to at least get a character up and running. And I you could say we're having the problems where maybe gearing is a little
[12:51] If there's going to be people who are running out of things to do pretty fast. little bit, but um yeah, I think think the game has just been going in such a strong trajectory, and it makes
[13:06] me very excited for for what's to come. And I've already seen people in the chat talking about how man, I want to see what 12.1 is going to be. Mhm. Right? And I know you are. We have We We speak about it every
[13:19] night, right? So, it's like, I cannot [music] wait. And I don't know for how guys in the chat. How many of you have been genuinely excited for what's coming next in World of Warcraft in a way where it's
[13:32] cringing and a little bit scared of like, "Oh, please don't [ __ ] it up." Uh [clears throat] here. Undercover Cracker says, "I'm actually enjoying it quite a "The story's been such a roller coaster. I just finished the quest line, and man,
[13:48] the seeds they're showing for potential future conflicts while still keeping a hopeful tone is just perfect Warcraft." Nice. Gino says he's having a blast. Uh 12 12in says, "I know a lot of people complain about how easy the game feels

[14:27] to go. Uh I can't wait for the underwater fishing game. I'd be bored if I didn't have alternate characters. Rawful pugging plus 10 with 230 people will cause pain. Oh, buddy. Yeah, so listen, I think overall
[14:41] like my one issue right now with Midnight is I think right now it's a Midnight is I think right now it's a little too easy to gear up. Like, there is so many sources of gearing up, just champion gear in general.
[14:54] >> Yeah. That just trivializes a lot of the open world content. >> And I think what it should be is like, we need some variety in terms of content [music] to sort of gear up in a different way. So, for example, I would
[15:09] really like it if they can somehow, some way I'm hoping it's a last type thing. Add some sort of heroic world tier to [music] World of Warcraft to make open world content completely relevant.
[15:24] >> Like, world bosses get like double Like, they're like an actual raid boss. Like, like with real mechanics and encounters. Like, dead serious. No [ __ ] around. Yes. Um you also have world quests are substantially harder. Rare mobs are
[15:38] substantial Like, everything is amped up to 11. Now, whether it's just simply a health and damage number tuning thing, I don't know, or if it's a mechanic thing, I'm I'm not really sure. But, I do think
[15:50] there needs to be a heroic world tier similar to what they did with Legion feel relevant again. Yeah. And And I'm not one of these people who says and who's going to like poo-poo on the game for it being too
[16:03] easy right now. Um I do think that for the large majority of the player base, I However, however, and this is a big however, and I wanted to get to this. I do think with how easy Mythic plus is right now, as someone who doesn't even
[16:18] like doing Mythic plus, it's so easy Yeah. that it feels like I'm throwing Right? And it it kind of makes me feel going to be a crazy thing for a lot of people to say, and you could call me
[16:30] whatever you want. But, the content I like to do the most since War Within is is my delves. Right? Because I can do it on my own time. If I have 20 minutes, I can do it. That feels pointless. Yeah. Already.
[16:42] What do What do we two, three weeks in? >> Yeah, I think they messed up on the tier 11 sort of gilded situation with delves, but also the delvers journey was very poorly rolled out. >> Yeah. Like, they capped you early on at
[16:57] week went by, then you're delvers journey three, and then a week went by, But, then there's also no catch-up mechanics if you missed it. So, like there was so much wrong on that roll-out, and then they locked a lot of
[17:11] the main progression and rewards that people typically like through delves like through the delvers journey way later on. pain in the ass to do. Like, I can go run one Mythic 10,
[17:26] finish it in 20 minutes very easily, have a potential out of hero piece, and get like a piss ton of gilded crest or myth crest, I guess that's what they're called now. So, like don't like what they did with delves. I think it sucks
[17:38] right now, and I think it does need some updates. It's actually sad because I good this expansion. Fair, but the delves are better. The delves are way know the worst thing about 10s being this easy, Lance? Is look at the stats
[17:52] >> They're all 10s, right? >> They're literally like all 10s. >> 10s. Uh I think Coozie sent me a message. Maybe I can pull it up. and while you're doing that, I'll say this is when it comes to

[18:20] delve would be cool without having to Oh. Buff shamans! What's that say? I can't Buff shamans! Yo, by the way, actually restoration shamans do need buffs, actually. They're pretty bad. Shamans need buffs? Shamans need buffs.

[19:41] Shadowlands, but there was a couple things that felt good. I don't care what anyone says. Fighting the end boss of a Torghast like sort run. It was really fun. I I

[01:12:25] neighborhoods and unlike the main city, it wouldn't be sharded. So, we'd talking isn't mandatory, it would go a long way to help things feel like a communal server again. Not a bad idea. What are your thoughts on that, Lance?
