[0:00] welcome to the Mythic plus guide for [0:02] World of Warcraft we will be covering [0:04] everything from group and individual [0:05] role responsibility how to actually get [0:08] into Keys the systems of a Mythic plus [0:10] run and more the table of contents is [0:13] down below but if you're not sure where [0:14] to start this video is formatted to be [0:17] coherent from start to finish and if you [0:19] want to just know how to actually apply [0:21] to get into a key there is a section at [0:23] the end of the video If you're looking [0:25] for that also there will be some big [0:27] changes potentially season 2 or season 3 [0:29] of the war within to the Mythic plus [0:31] system if there are major changes I will [0:34] re-upload this video and make all the [0:36] corresponding adjustments that being [0:37] said my name is Bowser the Healer get [0:40] subscribed if you like World of Warcraft [0:41] and hey I appreciate you what is Mythic [0:44] plus Mythic plus is a form of endgame [0:47] content alongside raid PVP and delves [0:50] you go into dungeons on the Mythic [0:52] difficulty and put your Keystone into a [0:54] font of power that will determine the [0:56] difficulty of the dungeon you'll hear [0:58] throughout this video me say things like [0:59] PL plus 5 or + 12 every plus is another [1:03] step up in difficulty more Health on [1:06] enemies more damage from enemies and [1:08] various suffixes that get harder as the [1:10] Keystone grows from completed runs the [1:12] goal is to clear enough enemy forces [1:14] known as mobs or trash and take out all [1:16] of the bosses all within the timer of [1:19] the dungeon provides if you clear under [1:22] time the Keystone levels up if you fail [1:24] you can still get gear but the Keystone [1:26] will level down Mythic plus is [1:28] essentially Co-op speed running [1:31] fast-paced dungeons with lots of damage [1:33] profiles for the DPS to blast through [1:35] healing profiles and mistakes for [1:36] healers to fix and mobs that need to be [1:39] managed and respected by tanks every [1:41] role shares responsibilities in dungeons [1:44] as well as having their own unique roles [1:46] and every class and spec plays [1:48] differently in Mythic Plus classes [1:50] sometimes change drastically between [1:52] raate to Mythic plus and While others [1:53] will stay very familiar in both learning [1:57] Mythic Plus in order to play Mythic plus [1:59] you you will want to have some [2:00] experience under your belt but you do [2:02] not need an expert or even be Advanced [2:04] at the game to play if you've leveled to [2:06] 80 maybe run a few delves then you have [2:09] what you need to start other than the [2:10] gear let's go over the various things [2:12] that you can learn from Mythic plus and [2:14] take it one step at a time you don't [2:16] need to have all of this memorized let's [2:19] start with the affixes fixes make keys [2:22] harder and as the key level goes up you [2:24] will get more of them at the Keystone [2:26] level 12 they will stop changing and [2:28] remain the same although the key level [2:30] can still go up at plus two the first [2:33] level of key you get the seasonal [2:35] effects this hasn't been around since [2:37] season one of dragon flight and in [2:39] future Seasons it might go away again we [2:41] don't know but it seasonal effects will [2:43] be unique to the season and The Story [2:46] season one of the war within zotth shows [2:48] up and makes us do something like [2:50] collecting orbs breaking balls killing [2:52] some additional enemy if we do it right [2:54] we get a buff if we fail the enemies get [2:57] a buff this is typically known as a kiss [3:00] curse effect in World of Warcraft these [3:02] affixes aren't too hard to do and if you [3:04] mess them up in a low key level the [3:06] repercussions aren't too bad but in a [3:08] higher level key messing them up can be [3:10] detrimental at a plus4 tyrannical or [3:13] fortified will turn on you get one each [3:16] week and it will swap to the other on [3:18] the next week tyrannical makes the [3:20] bosses hit harder and have more Health [3:22] fortified makes the enemy forces or the [3:24] trash as we know them have more health [3:27] and deal more damage at a plus seven [3:29] challenge Peril will make dying take 15 [3:31] seconds off the timer instead of the [3:33] normal five making deaths far more [3:36] punishing and at plus 10 fortified and [3:39] tyrannical will both be online and while [3:41] we talk about score in a later section [3:44] note that clearing a 10 will count for [3:46] both your fortified and your tyrannical [3:48] weeks at a plus 12 the seasonal effects [3:51] will actually turn off and instead the [3:53] dungeon is a flat 10% harder on top of [3:56] everything else once again at the lower [3:58] level keys the fixes can definitely hurt [4:01] a run but they aren't nearly as [4:03] impactful as you get into that plus [4:05] seven and Beyond territory you will [4:06] really start to feel that difficulty but [4:09] you also tackle harder dungeons with [4:11] more gear and knowledge so they're more [4:13] approachable than you might think stick [4:15] to low-l keys until you're prepared to [4:17] move up to harder content more on that [4:19] later the dungeons before we head into [4:22] how to learn a dungeon let's start by [4:25] just mentioning heroic dungeons are the [4:27] seasonal dungeons for Mythic plus now [4:29] meaning heroic is kind of a great place [4:31] to gear up and learn these dungeons for [4:34] when you're ready to finally go into [4:35] Mythic plus and while we're at it a plus [4:38] two is essentially the same difficulty [4:40] as a Mythic zero or a non Keystone [4:43] Mythic dungeon the plus two just adds [4:45] the timer in the enemy Force requirement [4:48] the dungeons per season used to be the [4:50] eight or so dungeons found within an [4:52] expansion but as of Shadowland season 4 [4:55] they've expanded to older dungeons as [4:57] well right now we seem to be in a flow [4:59] of four dungeons from the expansion [5:01] that's current and four from the past [5:03] Dungeons and expansions season 3 of [5:06] dragonflight was all past Dungeons and [5:08] then season 4 was all dragonflight [5:11] dungeons this could change but this is [5:13] likely how the dungeon pool will play [5:15] out in the war within the various [5:17] dungeons for each season can be found in [5:19] your adventurer's guide shift J by [5:21] default I believe while some of the [5:23] dungeon is easiest learned by playing [5:25] through the dungeons bosses are probably [5:28] the most important thing to learn [5:30] your dungeon Journal will actually tell [5:31] you what each boss does and what to look [5:34] out for as each roll and the bosses on [5:36] easier difficulties are of course going [5:38] to be not too hard but as your [5:41] difficulty level goes up and your key [5:42] level goes up not only are they doing [5:45] more damage from that Keystone level but [5:47] you will also see their mechanics maybe [5:49] more than once maybe you'll see all the [5:51] mechanics maybe you'll have to do two or [5:52] three rounds of the mechanics having a [5:55] route through the dungeon is also [5:57] important there are weekly routes on the [5:59] website radar.io which I'll talk about [6:01] more but it's where your M plus score is [6:03] located most dungeons however have a [6:05] strat that I like to call the whole W [6:08] where you can just kind of look at the [6:09] map and take out enemies while running [6:11] to a boss and that's usually enough to [6:13] get started but many dungeons present [6:15] you with options and wasting time on a [6:17] higher key level can be what fails a run [6:20] early on Mythic plus is very flexible [6:23] enemy forces commonly known as mobs or [6:25] trash will also require some learning [6:27] but usually these mobs aren't very compc [6:29] at so running into them a few times is [6:32] probably all you need and you can see [6:34] what spells hurt the most if you want to [6:36] know what's going to be dangerous at a [6:37] higher level just think to yourself if [6:39] that move hit me three times harder [6:41] would it kill me and that's going to be [6:43] what helps you understand what's going [6:45] to hurt in like a plus 10 or A+ 12 if [6:48] you're ever feeling confident with your [6:49] dungeon knowledge feel free to run a [6:51] higher key level but I would never move [6:53] too past the plus five or plus six [6:56] category until you are confident and [6:58] pretty well geared from the dungeons [7:00] that you've already played if you're [7:01] ever watching this guide before the [7:03] start of a season things work a little [7:05] bit differently Week 1 and week two [7:07] players will go in blind and push their [7:09] keys up as fast as possible so if you [7:12] have good gear and even good score going [7:13] into a season or an expansion's first [7:15] Mythic plus season you will find you [7:17] might start hopping up your key level [7:19] quickly find your limits if you do this [7:21] and wherever it's comfortable that's [7:23] going to be where you want to grind team [7:26] responsibility this may be the most [7:29] important part part of this video for [7:30] anyone actually playing Mythic plus [7:33] everyone has responsibilities in M plus [7:35] and roles also have more specific [7:37] responsibilities but we are going over [7:39] group responsibility first as those are [7:42] the core of Mythic plus gameplay the [7:45] sooner you learn this the better first [7:47] responsibility your health bar is your [7:50] responsibility the healer is there to [7:52] fix you up from unavoidable damage in [7:54] accidents use your defenses before the [7:57] mechanics and the Damage hit you use [7:59] your heals into spells after the damage [8:01] and the effects have gone off if you [8:03] have nothing left in your tank it's up [8:05] to the Healer to keep you alive use your [8:07] health pots your self heals and [8:09] defensives to survive when the going [8:11] gets rough and you're worried your [8:12] healer will not get to you in time or if [8:15] you have something low coold down like [8:16] impending Victory or Crimson file you [8:19] can use those often to help take some of [8:21] the burden away from the Healer also [8:23] healers need to make sure they don't die [8:25] too I've seen them worry about others so [8:28] much and they end up knocking them out [8:29] in the process to do this so healers [8:32] make sure you keep yourself alive next [8:34] responsibility everyone must control [8:36] mobs there are two kinds of controls [8:39] crowd control and interrupts also known [8:41] as kicks crowd control are all things [8:44] from soft CC like slows and roots to [8:47] hard CC like stuns or sleeps when it [8:49] comes to soft CC you might be slowing an [8:51] enemy that's fixated chasing after a [8:54] teammate or rooting a mob so that it [8:56] doesn't walk in Du all when you're in [8:58] the middle of a fight but we're really [9:00] talking about hard CC when we're talking [9:02] about what we call stops hard CC are [9:05] things like stuns sleeps disorients [9:07] knockups and more anything that is also [9:10] likely to stop a spellcast cast bars or [9:13] certain abilities when a mob is hard CC [9:16] it either can't attack or do damage or [9:18] it can't do more than Auto attack we [9:20] call this a stop because it stops a move [9:23] the tanks will usually lead the stops of [9:25] a pole but it's on everyone to prevent [9:27] moves from going off especially ones [9:29] that would be lethal to the party [9:30] members but there's another way a move [9:33] can be stopped interrupts also known as [9:35] kicks are abilities that specifically [9:37] say the either silence or prevent a [9:39] school of magic from being cast so if an [9:42] enemy fire Mage is casting a fire spell [9:45] and you kick their fire spell with your [9:47] interrupt it will lock them out of said [9:49] School of magic for a time this is [9:51] usually called like fire lock this [9:53] forces mobs to either swap schools of [9:55] magic or if unable to start walking into [9:58] Auto attack [9:59] it's critical to interrupt moves to [10:01] prevent incoming damage but it's also [10:03] good for organizing the mobs some moves [10:05] are more important than others to [10:06] interrupt and sometimes you'll find that [10:08] a stop doesn't put a move on cool down [10:11] and you must interrupt to get the enemy [10:12] to actually stop casting the move for a [10:14] little bit in mobs that can't be crowd [10:16] controlled might be kickable if a move [10:19] is kickable it is a colorful and often [10:21] times yellow cast bar if a move can't be [10:23] kicked it will be gray or silver some [10:26] mobs that can be CCD can't be kicked but [10:29] can be stopped and of course vice versa [10:32] next [10:33] responsibility everyone needs to do [10:36] mechanics there are fights and mobs [10:38] where maybe there's one person who's the [10:40] best pick for the job but there are [10:42] times where your healer has their hands [10:44] occupied or a tank can't move anymore [10:47] and it's up to everyone else to get [10:48] their back mechanics are anything that [10:51] goes off in a fight or even in a dungeon [10:54] from swirlies to having to solve a maze [10:56] removing a curse off you with a black [10:58] hole or even jacuzzi bosses bosses that [11:01] can't move but need something in range [11:03] or they'll probably wipe the whole party [11:05] and as a final responsibility everyone [11:08] must fight when you don't have a [11:10] personal responsibility left like [11:11] healing mechanics Etc it's time to blast [11:15] healers do damage tanks try to optimize [11:17] as much as they can and DPS are playing [11:20] to their specs abilities I'll talk more [11:22] about all of this in the individual [11:24] section coming up but especially to any [11:26] healers I just scared I promise you I [11:28] got you [11:29] let's talk individual role [11:31] responsibility however if you didn't [11:33] watch the last section talking about [11:35] team responsibility that is the most [11:37] important thing you can ever learn a [11:39] Mythic plus so make sure you've at least [11:41] checked that out tanks your job is to [11:44] have a basic route or at least lead the [11:46] group along the Route trust you are [11:49] sometimes just making it up but you're [11:51] the opener you will generally be the one [11:53] to pull the enemies with your attacks [11:55] get threats on them and keep the team [11:57] safe threat and survival are the the [11:59] most important things to you if you [12:01] don't do enough damage threat means that [12:03] enemies won't be looking at you they'll [12:05] be looking at your DPS and healer if [12:07] you're not managing your active cooldown [12:08] mitigation tools and your cool Downs you [12:11] might get flattened it's a really tough [12:13] balance but every single tank has active [12:16] mitigation their standard defensive [12:17] tools and their cooldowns bigger buttons [12:21] to rotate in and out of poles to either [12:22] stay alive or to do more damage and [12:25] establish more threat I did mention this [12:27] earlier but you also set the stop and [12:29] kick pacing when you open a pole feel [12:31] free to be the opening crowd control in [12:34] kicks and then save maybe your next [12:36] potential kick for an important spell [12:37] that you know you want to stop DPS your [12:41] job is obviously to do damage but it's a [12:43] lot more Nuance than that DPS have [12:46] profiles of damage outside of [12:48] augmentation of ochre and if you want to [12:49] learn more about that spec I have an [12:51] hour and a half guide on that in Mythic [12:53] plus you want to have a good area of [12:56] effect build or damage setup because [12:58] you're typically not fighting one mob [13:00] you're fighting multiple mobs at a time [13:03] but sometimes you do end up with a pack [13:04] of one mob or a boss two to three mobs [13:07] or a bazillion mobs sometimes there's an [13:10] enemy that's stronger than the rest of [13:11] the pack that has more health and not [13:13] every DPS is good at dealing with AOE or [13:16] priority damage Etc so every DPS needs [13:19] to know what damage profile they're good [13:21] at the standard damage profiles are [13:22] single Target 2 to three Target cleave 4 [13:25] to five Target AOE and then massive AOE [13:28] there's also priority Target as an [13:30] example Shadow priests do damage through [13:32] their psychic link Shadow crash will hit [13:35] eight enemies with vampiric touch to [13:37] provide this psychic link for damage and [13:39] while you can manually Target more [13:41] enemies with vampiric touch for more AOE [13:44] how worth it is it to set that up when [13:46] you could already be doing damage to the [13:48] eight targets that you've already hit [13:51] arms Warrior has sweeping strikes which [13:53] makes their single Target moves hit two [13:55] Targets instead of one there is a break [13:58] point where the move clear would be [13:59] stronger in AOE than their single Target [14:02] move mortal strike hitting two Targets [14:04] depending on the target Count Their tier [14:06] set and Etc this one might change which [14:09] move is more important and when and of [14:11] course when sweeping strikes goes down [14:14] you'll also change your button priority [14:16] again this list goes on forever and [14:19] every single DPS can think about this [14:21] one highle technique is called funneling [14:24] which allows you to get your DPS [14:26] resources on multiple enemies and funnel [14:28] them into one Target feral Druid has an [14:31] ability that allows their bleeds to give [14:32] them a chance at a free bite their [14:34] strongest single target attack so they [14:37] can make multiple enemies bleed and then [14:39] get more procs on bites that they can [14:41] all put into a single priority Target [14:43] like a higher Health mob study your spec [14:46] and learn where your tools go and what [14:48] you're good at and while you're looking [14:49] at your tools don't forget about your [14:50] dispels your healing and your defensives [14:52] while you're at it healers I might have [14:55] scared you earlier but let's start with [14:57] the basics Trio [14:59] triage is the concept of who you can [15:01] save and who you can't save sometimes [15:03] when the going gets rough you need to [15:05] pick who can live and who's going to die [15:07] you and the tank are two of the most [15:09] important targets to keep alive followed [15:11] by anybody with a battle Resurrection [15:13] ability tanks will need your help [15:15] sometimes but the tank is 80% of the [15:17] time going to be fine on their own so if [15:20] the tank is looking okay you can focus [15:22] on yourself and the DPS more if a tank [15:24] requires too much healing from the [15:26] Healer either they're going through some [15:28] crazy damage mechan pic or the healer is [15:30] going to start running out of resources [15:32] and then the DPS that need to be healed [15:33] will likely be in danger it's not Mana [15:36] efficient to heal your tank forever and [15:39] much like DPS you actually have healing [15:41] profiles and cooldowns are you healing [15:43] one person two to three Target cleave or [15:45] many people each healer manages this [15:48] kind of healing differently usually with [15:49] a limited amount of AOE healing you also [15:52] have cooldowns that can be used to [15:54] either make it through a tough bit of [15:55] healing or what I like to call emergency [15:58] cool Downs that can save lives when the [15:59] going gets rough you will learn as the [16:01] dungeons get harder where you can save [16:03] on healing cooldowns and mana and when [16:05] you need to send your resources to keep [16:07] people alive if the damage was [16:09] unreactable and someone died or almost [16:11] died instantly it was likely a mechanic [16:14] a needed kick or stop or something that [16:17] was avoidable that they stood in and [16:19] don't take those personally it's not [16:21] always directly your fault one [16:23] recommendation is using the add-on [16:25] details which is typically a damage [16:26] meter you can set it to check death [16:28] deaths or damage taken this can at a [16:31] glance give you an idea of what's [16:32] happening to your teammates and what [16:34] moves are dodgeable versus undodgeable [16:37] and you'll understand if it's the pugs [16:39] standing in circles or if you might have [16:41] missed a heal on a homie who absolutely [16:43] needed you healer DPS is important if I [16:46] get another comment telling me how it [16:48] isn't so help me God healers can take [16:51] minutes off a run seconds off priority [16:53] targets Etc healer damage is also [16:56] usually not complicated if you're new [16:59] just throw damage out whenever you can [17:01] and truly never stress about it but if [17:04] you're in that plus seven or Beyond key [17:06] level I'm going to be the meanie who [17:08] says it you should absolutely know how [17:11] to do your damage as a Healer and send [17:12] it when you can sometimes you can't [17:14] though the world's on fire and you got [17:16] to be healing but trust me as you get [17:18] confident and comfortable the damage [17:20] will come you just don't actually heal [17:22] every second of a run at higher levels [17:25] and all the damage that you can do is [17:27] still time saave we always want that as [17:29] a team anything you can do helps healing [17:32] first damage second Bowser what is score [17:36] you're often going to hear me talk about [17:37] score or other players Mythic plus is [17:39] tracked with the score for how well [17:41] you've done in dungeons purely based on [17:43] how fast you clear raider.io is a [17:46] website that works with blizzard as a [17:47] partner to track these scores letting [17:49] you check out how well you're doing I am [17:51] not sponsored by radar.io but I was on [17:53] their front page recently and I [17:55] absolutely love the people who work over [17:56] there that score is iname game as well [17:59] as on the website score also is what [18:02] people look at when you apply to keys or [18:04] post your key we get to know how much [18:06] score you have what your best runs are [18:08] for that dungeon and what your gear [18:10] score or item level is let's talk about [18:13] understanding player [18:14] expectations the difficulty of Mythic [18:16] plus goes up as high as you want it to [18:18] go there's nothing wrong with sticking [18:20] to low keys while you're learning or if [18:22] that's just what you enjoy if you want [18:24] to push yourself I have some tips coming [18:26] up for that but as the key level goes up [18:28] there's more expectation so you know [18:30] what you're doing so let me help you [18:32] figure out the numbers and the item [18:34] levels of keys and expectations from [18:36] other players now I just want to note [18:38] this section is entirely biased in my [18:41] own opinion but it's someone who pugs [18:43] almost every day of their life I have a [18:45] really good grasp on this stuff and I [18:47] want to share as much as I can when it [18:49] comes to key levels 2 through 5 that's [18:51] beginner territory it's okay to learn [18:53] here I recommend having at least done [18:56] every key at a 2 to three before going [18:58] to maybe fours and fives as fours when [19:00] tyrannical or fortified starts to apply [19:02] and the difficulty goes up quite a bit [19:04] key level 6 through 7 is my license test [19:07] key level you know the keys you know [19:09] most of the mechanics and you're [19:11] comfortable with your spec and your role [19:13] players will expect that you know how to [19:14] interrupt and stop incoming damage if [19:16] you don't at this level you might burn [19:18] out taking too much damage as a team [19:20] eights but mostly nines are what I like [19:22] to call the high-end gate if you can [19:25] clear all the dungeons on a nine you're [19:27] ready for the next big challenge of ATT [19:28] 10 10 players will expect not only good [19:30] mechanics but good damage and a more [19:32] competitive item level whatever the [19:34] higher end for the season is they're [19:36] going to want to see you getting closer [19:37] to that in season 1 of the war within [19:40] 615 and up is kind of what I look for [19:43] out of nine some people are pickier and [19:44] look for higher but you can get away [19:47] with keys at lower key levels but it's [19:49] not about if you can do it it's about if [19:50] the team you're applying for will [19:53] actually take you 10 will give you a [19:55] portal to the dungeon if you time them [19:57] but fortified and tyrannical will both [20:00] be online so it's the ultimate test of [20:02] Performing both weeks of difficulty [20:04] players expect the same from you from [20:06] nines but with even more Perfection you [20:09] can't wipe or die too often at this key [20:11] level and 10 will really punish you for [20:13] it 12s is the next big gate players will [20:17] want to see you have done all the keys [20:18] on 11 before they even start taking you [20:20] into 12 Perfection is sort of mandatory [20:24] here I want you to think 90 to 95% of [20:27] this dungeon has to go great [20:29] item level this is going to change from [20:31] season to season but here's the short [20:33] version heroic dungeons should get you [20:36] Geared for Mythic plus if you have [20:38] mostly heroic gear on you're probably [20:41] good and Whatever item level that is [20:43] probably the top of Adventure or the [20:44] bottom of Veteran gear is about where [20:46] you want to be now just to we're clear [20:49] you can run Mythic Plus on a pretty low [20:51] item level we're going to talk about [20:53] that in a second but players do expect [20:55] to see a decent amount of gear on you if [20:57] you're fully kitted out in all Hero gear [20:59] that's fully upgraded a plus 10 for a [21:02] midcore player is going to be on the [21:03] breezier side so gear score really does [21:06] make a difference however let's be [21:09] honest 70% of Mythic plus is going to be [21:11] skill early on and only 30% of it is [21:13] going to be gear within a season a plus [21:16] 10 this season can be cleared at 608 [21:18] item level I know because I'm pretty [21:20] sure that's when I cleared it that being [21:22] said most pugs aren't going to see you [21:24] in 608 gear and go oh yeah they can run [21:27] a 10 the expectation of the players is [21:29] that you're putting in the work so [21:31] having a decent gear score is also [21:33] useful just like having a good dungeon [21:35] score so while you might be running a [21:37] lot of keys early on to get that initial [21:39] score you're eventually going to want to [21:40] have enough gear that players aren't [21:42] worried you're just going to fall over [21:44] in a dunge run all right let's talk [21:46] about add-ons I don't want to spend too [21:47] much time here because I have an entire [21:49] interface video but there are three I [21:51] want to talk about first of all [21:53] raider.io has their own add-on this just [21:55] lets you see a bunch of extra detail on [21:58] people [21:59] like what scores they have you might be [22:00] able to see what their main score is if [22:02] they're on an ALT very useful [22:04] information details I mentioned earlier [22:06] as well as just a DPS meter you can also [22:08] use it to track things like healing done [22:11] or if anyone in your party is actually [22:12] interrupting any spells there's a lot of [22:15] very useful information here in healers [22:17] I highly recommend details just so you [22:20] can check data like why people are dying [22:22] or what kind of damage they're taking so [22:24] you can become a better healer or not be [22:26] gas lit by the pugs you are telling you [22:28] that you're not healing them when [22:29] they're standing in a swirly then [22:30] there's another add-on that you have [22:32] some choices of deadly boss mods or big [22:34] wigs and little wigs I'm currently on [22:36] little wigs and Big Wigs because I [22:38] really like the default out of thebox [22:40] experience but these add-ons will call [22:43] out mechanics to let you know what's [22:44] going on it doesn't play the game for [22:46] you it simply adds audio cues to things [22:49] dbm will default to voiceovers while big [22:51] wigs and little wigs will default to [22:53] sound effects I don't care how good you [22:55] are at this game reducing cognitive load [22:58] by any amount is going to be useful for [23:00] any player and we see that across all of [23:02] Esports and Competitive Gaming they're [23:04] also extremely customizable so you can [23:06] have it change certain alerts or notify [23:09] you when a Spell's about to go off in [23:10] case you're say playing discipline [23:12] priest and you want to give yourself a [23:14] little bit of a ramp window you can set [23:16] an alert up to help remind you hey I [23:18] should start ramping right now very [23:20] useful stuff okay this section we're [23:23] going to go over how you actually apply [23:24] for a Mythic plus key or host your own [23:27] key I'm going to go over everything here [23:29] and I'm going to try to have all the [23:30] relevant footage so bear with me before [23:32] we even apply to a key this is a good [23:34] time to get consumables right if you're [23:36] at a key level I would say plus seven [23:38] and Beyond that's probably the time to [23:40] start bringing consumables to a dungeon [23:43] not going to go over consumables and if [23:44] you're new to the game or doing lower [23:45] level Keys you really don't need to be [23:47] wasting gold on more things so don't [23:50] even worry about food until a little bit [23:52] later in your journey so let's get our [23:54] consumables and now it's time to group [23:55] find her if we're posting our own key [23:58] simp simply create a group in the group [24:00] finder page which I want to say is [24:01] default is I or o I can't remember what [24:03] button I'm pressing you're going to just [24:05] go to dungeons start a group and it will [24:07] probably automatically try to list your [24:10] key but make sure it's a Mythic plus [24:11] Keystone make sure the dungeon's correct [24:13] and that the level difficulty is correct [24:15] most players will write the dungeon [24:17] number here or plus and then whatever [24:19] your Keystone is post the group and then [24:21] players will start showing up and you [24:23] can start forming your team if you're [24:25] applying for a group it's a similar [24:27] process but you look for groups you [24:29] search and then you can use the search [24:30] bar to like say search certain [24:32] parameters like different difficulty [24:34] keystones or a specific Keystone that [24:37] you want to run you can apply up to five [24:39] groups and when it comes to hosting or [24:41] joining a key you do kind of want to [24:44] think about group composition early on [24:46] don't even worry about this but of [24:48] course you want one tank three DPS and a [24:50] Healer typically speaking you want one [24:52] battle res and a blood lust and of [24:54] course if you're a tank or a Healer and [24:56] the group already has a tank or a Healer [24:58] or you're a DPS and the group already [24:59] has 3 DPS then you probably shouldn't [25:01] even apply for the key once you've [25:03] applied to keys or you've posted a key [25:05] and you've gathered your players [25:06] together say hello when you join and [25:08] it's time to go to the dungeon if the [25:10] dungeon is in current expansion you'll [25:12] likely have to actually fly to the [25:14] dungeon so go do that otherwise you can [25:17] go over here T when Lind dormy is and [25:19] you can either talk to her to lower your [25:21] Keystone level or go through the portal [25:23] to go to one of the areas where the old [25:25] dungeons are located once you make it to [25:27] the dungeon use the summoning Stone to [25:29] gather your allies for the party and [25:31] then head on in and it's time to get [25:33] ready if you're hosting a key you're [25:35] going to do things a little differently [25:36] here but make sure everyone's inside [25:39] once everyone's inside use any [25:40] consumables you want to have prepped [25:42] before the run if you're hosting you're [25:44] going to use the little side menu to [25:45] initiate a ready check and just make [25:47] sure that everyone's ready to go then [25:50] when everyone's ready click on the font [25:51] of power put your Keystone in and then [25:54] on that little menu start a countdown [25:57] timer play ERS have preols that they [25:59] want to use before The Dungeon starts [26:01] this allows them to time it once you hit [26:03] 0 on the timer or you hear the ding hit [26:06] the button and start the Run do note [26:09] that a lot of players expect this [26:11] countdown timer and a lot of people lose [26:13] confidence in the run when they don't [26:14] see a countdown timer as it shows a [26:16] player who isn't familiar with Mythic [26:18] plus while I'm normally for breaking [26:20] tradition this is one that I think is [26:22] pretty safe to go for please try to [26:24] always do a countdown timer after a [26:25] ready check to sure that all your [26:27] players are on the same page page get in [26:29] there and start blasting the Tank's [26:31] going to lead the DPS are going to do [26:33] damage and the Healer will keep people [26:35] upright and do damage whenever they can [26:37] my only tips for you at this point is to [26:39] have fun use your damage cooldowns as [26:42] often as you can and learn there are [26:44] many players you can watch guides you [26:46] can reference to learn more about Mythic [26:48] Plus Check twitch check YouTube and [26:50] maybe just watch some top players do [26:52] some runs and have some fun and finally [26:54] finally go get your ass kicked wow is an [26:57] incredibly tough game it might start on [26:59] the easier side but learn make mistakes [27:01] make friends and have a wonderful time [27:05] if you have performance anxiety and [27:06] you're worried about how others might [27:08] treat you I have a wonderful video [27:10] linked below about that topic that I've [27:11] poured my heart and soul into and I hope [27:13] it helps trust me this kind of content [27:16] once you get the hang of it I think it's [27:18] some seriously Peak MMO endgame push the [27:21] limits learn and have a great time [27:24] that's going to do it for this one if [27:25] you have any other questions about [27:26] Mythic plus feel free to drop them below [27:29] and of course on Twitch bows of the [27:31] Healer all one word I'll always try to [27:33] talk to new people who show up whenever [27:36] I can maybe help them with the Mythic [27:37] plus Journey thank you all so so much [27:39] for watching and I'll see you in the [27:41] next one
