[00:00] submitted for an Indonesian coffee brand that was hosting a free rent art contest this and was like, "Yo, your art piece looks pretty AI." This is the art piece odd to people. First off, Fern is looking into the abyss. Fern only has
[00:15] one ponytail instead of two. There is some really strong environmental here. So, people aren't really being lit by the window. Fern's earrings don't actually look correct. I don't know what this is on the jacket here. Her palm
[00:28] actually doesn't touch the serving tray at all. There's just a gap there for some reason. And the really big one is Stark is missing a lot of core elements. Stark's clothing has like two collars essentially and there's basically like
[00:40] fact the highlights are really messy. Stark has a wound above their eye that that is also not there. But the biggest issue actually is the fact that the coffee brand's logo is an orange cat
[00:53] with a coffee bean on its stomach. Except in the art piece, the logo is for some reason leaves. The artist got the logo completely wrong. But it's not like they didn't know how the logo looks like because on the counter in the back the
[01:05] logo is actually drawn correctly, which makes no sense. So, people basically triple quadruple down insisting it's not AI and giving explanations for elements people found odd. The artist then goes and drops a work in progress example
[01:19] which nobody bought. It is a blank teal background with literally no sketch whatsoever except the line art for Fern's head, eyes, nose, mouth, one ear and one side bang is done. We then get the drawing process of Fern where she
[01:32] slowly just spawns in chunk by chunk fully rendered. Again, no sketch. And then we have more of the drawing process which again is really odd. Fern is fully rendered, the background is only flat colored and then Fern starts spawning in
[01:45] the environmental lighting is like immediately colored in. Even professional artists will after they draw in the background rework all the the environment. But somehow this artist immediately knows where all the
[01:58] environment drawn in. And then the biggest one is the artist uploaded this video showcasing their layers. It's filmed with like what looks like a phone of a drawing tablet with a screen behind it that is blown up. They're opening all
[02:11] program they draw in, showing, "Okay, I have all these layers of the body head grouped together." But the big thing is somebody noticed, "Wait, why is have JPEG in the name." Because if you look at the file name, "Frieren X
[02:26] Tomorrow Coffee Fanart Competition blah blah blah blah blah {dot} JPEG {dot} Krita." The only way it would look like that is if you opened a JPEG in Krita and then started drawing on your JPEG, which again, almost no artist does that.
[02:39] That's almost unheard of. So, what are the odds that you accidentally did that to get the speedpaint out of Krita, and you also accidentally got the logo wrong even though you got the logo correct in the background? So, yeah, very, very
