What they do is they get their video idea, they put together a script of some kind, and then they get to making the actual video. If that's your approach, you're doing it wrong and this is the [00:28] is to first come up with your video idea. After you have your video idea, you want to vet that idea by looking at similar channels to see if they've gotten views making content on that idea. Hop on Google Trends, see if [00:41] thing at all. Hop into YouTube autocomplete and start looking for see if it's something that people are even looking for on YouTube to just get a general idea of interest. Then once you confirm the interest, the next step [00:55] in that process should be to come up with your thumbnail and title. And the that this is awkward, but the reason that this is important is because when title first, it ensures that when you are writing your script that you're [01:07] considering, hey, what is the expectation that this thumbnail and title are creating for my viewer? And how can I meet that expectation when they click on the video and then they come in and they start experiencing my [01:19] content. So, what can I say at the very beginning of my video or at the top of my script that just lets people know that they're in the right place? And how they might have when they click on the thumbnail or title in my script to hook [01:33] approach, you create a more seamless experience for the viewer. You are increasing your satisfaction, which is the thing that YouTube ultimately cares coming back to YouTube and keep watching ads or they keep paying that premium [01:47] membership. But most importantly for you, you create that great experience what it is that they expect when they come into the video, which results in them being like, "Hey, this is good quality content.
