[00:02] snacks of all time. Now, every single gardener knows that sugar snap and snow peas make the absolute best garden snack. But, this year I wanted to grow enough to actually try some preservation. So, we picked a
[00:14] bed with a permanent trellis and planted the entire bed full by first digging a trench and popping in a pea every few inches. And by far the biggest problem we've had in previous years are animals eating those delicious pea shoots as
[00:26] made sure to cover the trellis with insect netting protecting those young plants, which was a total game changer. And once those peas sprouted, we added a thick layer of mulch, covered everything back up, and just let them grow. And as
[00:39] across the trellis to give those little tendrils something to grab onto as they climb. And within a few weeks, we had an abundance of delicious, crispy, sweet peas. And with a harvest this big, we finally had more than we could just eat
[00:53] fresh. So, I wanted to try a new way of preserving them, freeze drying. So, to prep the peas, I trimmed off the stem ends and blanched them for about a sprinkled them with a little salt, and loaded them right into my Harvest Right
[01:06] of them up, but let's be honest, they didn't last very long. So, I guess next peas. Oh my god. Oh my god. That's the best thing ever.
