> Source: [How to Find VIRAL TikTok Shop Affiliate Products to Sell in 5 Minutes](https://youtube.com/watch?v=422FYdjsrrk)

## Summary

The video presents a systematic method called SCTM (Solution, Credibility, Timing, Metrics) for selecting viral products to promote on TikTok Shop, along with strategies for creating effective hooks. The speaker claims over $2.5 million in sales using this approach and illustrates it with a specific product example that earned $15,000 in commissions.

### Key Points

- **Claim of $2.5M Sales** [00:01] — Speaker claims over $2.5 million in sales over two years, attributing success to picking viral products and adapting hooks.
- **Introducing SCTM Method** [00:28] — Describes the SCTM method: Solution (visual problem solved), Credibility (promoter's trustworthiness), Timing (seasonality or virgin demand), Metrics (reviews, price, commission, demand).
- **Solution: Visual Problem** [00:41] — Product must solve a clear visual problem that can be demonstrated easily.
- **Credibility Check** [00:54] — Promoter must be credible for the product category; example: promoting skincare without expertise undermines trust.
- **Timing and Seasonality** [01:07] — Consider if the product is seasonal (e.g., camping tents in summer) or evergreen (anytime). Evergreen products are preferred.
- **Metrics Evaluation** [01:32] — Check reviews, price point, commission rate, and existing demand. If a product fails any SCTM category, it's avoided.
- **Importance of Hooks** [02:11] — Even with a good product, a poor hook leads to low sales. Provides a blueprint for creating creative hooks.
- **Example Product: Photo Printer** [02:25] — Earned $15,000 commission from a photo printer; product is new (1,178 sold) and high commission (30% = $35/sale).
- **Timing Advantage** [03:33] — The printer hadn't gone viral yet; early promotion helped boost sales significantly.
- **Price Point and Commission** [04:13] — Price $139.99 is high for TikTok impulse buys, but free 3-day shipping, free returns, and 30% commission make it attractive.
- **Effective Hook Example** [05:22] — Used hook: 'Can anyone tell me why it took them until 2025 to come up with this?' to generate curiosity and lead into product features.

### Conclusion

The SCTM method (Solution, Credibility, Timing, Metrics) provides a systematic way to select viral products, and pairing it with curiosity-driven hooks can significantly boost affiliate sales on TikTok Shop.

## Transcript

for the past two years, making well over $2.5 million in sales. And if there's with, it is picking products that go viral. Being able to choose winning products and adapt my hooks to them has single-handedly made me more money than
video, I'm going to break down the entire system for choosing products that viral. And if you stay until the end, I'm going to reveal my entire blueprint for creating viral hooks for these products that you might want to use in
more views and more sales. So, let's get right into it. Step number one is the actually choosing viral products. And there is one method that I have been using consistently for the past couple years of my entire journey. And I like
to call it SCTM method. The S stands for solution. So, does this product solve a visual problem? Is there a solution that this product will solve? And then you have credibility. Do you come off like a credible source to be promoting this
product? For example, if I were to promote skincare products, that is not something I do whatsoever. So, would I be a credible source for people who like is no. Nobody would actually trust me. So, that's probably not a product I
would want to promote. So, that was SC. Now, we're on to T. T is timing. So, is this product in season or is it a seasonal product at all? For example, if want to promote that camping tent in the winter or do you want to promote it in
want to promote it in the summer because that's when people are camping the most. But also, you have evergreen products, which are products that can be basically some of the best products to promote because my sister promotes those like
crazy and she makes tons of money doing evergreen products. So, we just did SCT. Now, we're on to M. So, metrics, that is what M is. Does the product have good reviews? Is it really expensive? Is it cheap? Does it have good commission? Is
there any demand for this product literally at all? You're basically this product. Is there, you know, any kind of data that you can pull and see if this product is actually worth promoting because if it has no sales and
terrible reviews, maybe that's not a product you want to promote. Basically, if a product fails any of those categories, I will almost never promote it. But even if you choose the right products every single time, if your hook
sucks, more than likely, you will not make much money at all. So, here is my blueprint for coming up with creative hooks and using them on products that I deemed as perfect for the SCTM method. So, first product that we have here is a
actually one of my favorite products I have promoted. Um, and I don't really like the company, but I do like the product and how it's done for me. Um, I've made about $15,000 in commission off of this product and just basically
me the first time. So, I just made a video, it went viral, and I basically remade that video like six times and consistently went viral with that hook and that style. So, let's talk about why this product's working and why this
product fell into a good category on the SCTM rule. So, s solution, right? We want to make sure it solves a visual problem and this one definitely does that. It's showing that it's actually printing out a photo from a phone so you
off stuff at the store. You can do it at home. I could almost say nothing about this product and people will understand what it does and what problem it solves Now, credibility. Now, I don't really need any credibility with this product
necessary for that. It's not like an athletic product where I need to be an this product I kind of just printed out photos from my wedding and my honeymoon were like, "Wow, that's relatable." Right? So, we got green check marks on
solution, we got green check marks on credibility, and now we're moving to T. The timing for this product was a big part of this. Surprisingly, it wasn't seasonal, right? It's not in season, but this product had not gone viral yet. It
didn't have many sales by the time I got to it. And when I started promoting it, product to the moon. Now, I will say that this product is still very new. It's only 1,178 sold. So, it's still very new. So, if you are trying to
category, definitely try it out. Now, let's talk about the metrics. The metrics are a big part of this product and I want to talk about why. So, first point. So, the price point as you see here, it is $139.99.
That is a little bit expensive for Tik Tok shop, right? Everybody on Tik Tok is They're not searching for these products to buy them, generally speaking. So, if they're coming across your for coming across their for you page, then they're
product. And will they want to impulsively spend $140? More than likely, no. So, it's a it's a lot harder to get them to purchase this. So, I would say that's a negative because the price point is so high. But then if we
review, which is pretty good. And then if we look at shipping and returns, it is free 3day shipping, which is awesome. And it's free returns. And then finally, if I swipe up on the actual product tag, you can see it's $35 per sale, which is
I actually was shocked when I was making a ton of sales on this because I was a ton of sales on this because I was making almost like 30% commission on this product every single sale which was nuts. Now people are probably going to
ask like how do I create a hook for a product like this? And I personally either keep a list of hooks that I have from other creators or I come up with my own that are very controversial. They've worked for me in the past and I just
keep this list and I just basically choose random ones for random products. But if one of them sticks out to me as a good one for this specific product, then what I did with this product. I actually used the hook. Can anyone tell me why it
this? And there's a multitude of reasons of why I use that hook. And that's people think that these have been around for years, which they have. And two, it makes people extremely curious to know what you're about to talk about. Like
that it has never been around? Like something's brand new and I'm seeing really intrigued by that. And then also a hook like that can actually lead me into other features about the product. So I could say, you know, it why did it
take them until 2025 to come up with this? Like we've had this, this, and long to come up with something that prints out photos from your phone, right? So it kind of leads you into other um things to talk about and other
chaining events. And these are just a few strategies that I teach inside of my Affiliate. So, if you want to learn everything from picking the right products to recording tactics to setting up your account to literally everything,
I will teach it right here in this video if you watch that next.
