[00:00] although my Xbox 360 is probably gathering dust when GTA six comes out, I plan on playing the making content, and also live streaming it. still haven't decided between the Xbox and the PS5, so I was about to do a [00:13] to learn how to live stream directly from those consoles. into PC and live stream and record it that I decided to bring you along with me. [00:25] So grab my hand. Grab But when I went to link my social platforms So let's do So that's done under your account. [00:40] And you want to link your YouTube for example. This will allow you to upload directly from your console. We'll authorize. There's also discord. [00:53] I don't know what the benefits are, but we'll learn about Let your discord friends If that's something you Join a discord voice chat using your PS5. And then manage features such as audio levels, muting, channel switching. [01:06] Now considering I don't have the console and I don't have the Twitch app So I looked up at tutorial from this channel. [01:19] And basically from the console settings you have to go to users and accounts. Then from there you'll find link services and then Twitch should appear. with your phone, or just a link that you can put in your browser. [01:34] Your Twitch account should be linked to your PS5. Once it's done, you'll see this page you can always unlink After that, at the bottom right you'll see an icon for broadcasting. [01:49] If you have Twitch by default, it'll show you can always look at the options. On the broadcast option, you have the option to If you have a camera connected to your You can display [02:01] display activity, position your overlay, also include party audio. you want to turn that Other than that, you have the option to change the title and just go [02:13] that you can already do this straight from the console. We're going to go to this channel to learn about by pressing the home button and navigating to the Capture and Share tab. [02:28] you'll see a couple of providers, including Twitch. And once again you can scan the QR code, or just use the link to link From there you'll have your account pop You can go live now. [02:40] and some other options You can see Party Audio up top. Change the resolution and bitrate. Etc. [02:52] want to remember Here you have a quick look at the overlay adjustments. stream earlier is the destination you can stream to LightStream, which is actually a service that allows you to add a bunch of. [03:05] Quote unquote PC only widgets and all kinds of stuff to make your stream even though you're streaming on console. I'm not 100% sure how that works, but I'm guessing [03:19] Of course every video featured here will be linked in the description. to use LightStream. [03:34] but if you are a PC streamer. That means you need to have a pretty good PC that you've tried streaming on before, and also the console with the Now, [03:48] is what you would typically use to stream a game from your console to your PC your alerts, your transitions, and all the fancy I do recommend the 4K x. [04:04] Because it actually offers you a quite a bit of versatility. you have your HDMI ports, your USB-C that goes into your computer, HDMI so that you can continue playing as if nothing was happening. [04:21] like OBS or a Meld or Streamlabs desktop, whatever. The really cool thing with the one in particular over the image and also record at the highest quality. [04:39] if you're going somewhere, for example, you don't necessarily have your PC, you can just plug it into your iPad and actually record your content. In general, Elgato products are great [04:54] If you are a live streamer, you probably heard of the stream all of that stuff, I can just do it from a stream A full disclaimer [05:06] As you can see, this is an Elgato That doesn't stop me from testing the cheaper alternatives. My issue is that, for example, I was using a cheaper 4K capture [05:19] card for years for my camera, and recently I needed it to do a pizza. Recording setup And it just couldn't capture the sound until I used this one. Anyways. Affiliate link in the description. [05:34] So yeah, as I said, once you have your console connected in there All you have to do is launch the stream from your PC, You can put overlays on top of You can have your camera, your alerts, place [05:51] I don't I don't think I need to go over and explain how PC gamers do [06:03] stream solution, which basically lets you stream directly from your console. But it's a service, meaning that you don't need a beefy streaming computer. [06:16] that's going to rebroadcast it with all the I need that to be very, very Using lightstream that basically streams it for which means there will be limitations. [06:32] But it's a step above streaming straight from console. But super convenient that you don't need a beefy PC to run the stream from scratch. [06:44] where you go to the website, log in with your Twitch account. And at the bottom you can see it shows you like your scene setup. and then get to the gameplay or go to just chatting, be right back ending, etc.. [07:00] and you get a glimpse of all the things that you can add to your so images, videos, you can even add a guest, your camera, etc., etc. the cool thing here is that since it's connected to your Twitch it already [07:15] So it kind of removes the need for like third party alerts and all that, like stream elements or or Streamlabs. third party browser source, which means that you can still add those [07:29] elements or whatever other service you can still add those to. And you can see that they have X-Box and PlayStation After that, you can add your camera. [07:45] You get position in size options. some pretty basic but extremely useful features. Up on top you can see just how much you can customize. [07:58] LightStream is free to use, they do have a premium option. I am not affiliated with them. I think I told them I don't have a console to demonstrate [08:13] during the videos, but if you, you know, if you they didn't respond like send me an X-Box, send me a warn X-Box, [08:25] send me a second hand Xbox for like 400 bucks and I'll make whatever even though I'm not affiliated, like I have to admit that this seems to be the only service that really, really is created for that purpose. [08:39] Bridging that gap between PC streamers and console streamers. Anyways, I'll link this in the description so you can learn all about it You see the bottom says Add scene. [08:52] pre-made overlays like default overlays if you want. you can download images or just overlays on the internet and use So the browser Prevents list, your chat and all And that's the beauty of it too. [09:10] So I know a lot of you were probably watching You can do it right Including custom RTMP. oh my platform logo is not there, it probably supports our TMP server. [09:26] you know you can stream from Twitch, YouTube, Facebook at the same time going live and seeing what the stream looks like on Twitch, for example. so yeah, if someone is streaming straight from their Xbox or PlayStation [09:41] and things like that, that's how they do it from a browser, which means that I haven't used it because I don't have a console, stream be on your phone or a tablet or anything like You guys have phones, [09:57] So when GTA six drops on day one, this is what people are going to be using. I'm personally going to be using the Elgato 4K. So I can both live stream and also record and also not change my PC setup at all. [10:12] But if there's anything else you would like to know how to do, it in a comment section below and I'll consider it for next video. that's going to be again, about like the content creation aspect of it. [10:27] I interviewed for people so far about how they're going I'm also still debating if I want to make Agta where everyone can chill together and inspire each We'll see. [10:44] Make sure to subscribe also follow me on Twitch. Bye bye!
