[0:00] I use five main strategies to come up [0:01] with viral video ideas that get views [0:03] like this for myself and also my clients [0:06] and in this video I'm going to share all [0:08] five of them with you so that you'll [0:09] never run out of Banger video ideas ever [0:11] again so let's start with strategy [0:14] number one the absurdity formula the [0:16] absurdity formula relies on creating [0:18] content that is within the realm of [0:20] possibility but is so absurd that it [0:22] seems almost impossible and I'm going to [0:24] show you how to use it for yourself in [0:26] the early days of YouTube it wasn't that [0:28] hard to get a ton of views if you knew [0:30] what you were doing because the [0:31] standards for Content were so much lower [0:33] than what they are now for example 6 [0:35] years ago Mr Beast published this video [0:37] where he gave away $10,000 which was [0:39] absolutely crazy for the time it ended [0:42] up getting 10 million views whereas this [0:44] video on giving away $10,000 that was [0:46] posted by a Creator who has way more [0:48] subs than Mr Beast did at the time only [0:50] got 35,000 views which is pretty good [0:52] nonetheless but is a long shot off of Mr [0:54] B's 10 million nowadays if an unknown [0:57] Creator were to publish this video it [0:58] would probably struggle to even crack [1:00] 1,000 views potentially because giving [1:02] away $10,000 in a video is no longer [1:04] absurd enough because it's been done so [1:06] many times to weigh bigger scales so to [1:09] use the absurdity formula you need to [1:11] come up with ideas that people think are [1:13] absurd or aren't possible on my old [1:15] gamedev Channel Nate Dev I created a [1:17] video called I made a game in one line [1:19] of code which got over 2 million views [1:21] the reason this video did so well is [1:23] that most people understand that even [1:25] small video games require hundreds if [1:27] not thousands of lines of code to make [1:29] them work so doing it in one line of [1:31] code was crazy to people however I [1:33] mentioned earlier that it also needs to [1:35] be within the realm of possibility [1:37] despite seeming almost impossible and [1:39] this is important because if you make an [1:41] absurd claim and then don't deliver on [1:43] it in the video your viewers will get [1:44] upset and click off your video killing [1:46] its performance on the flip side if you [1:48] make a bold claim like I did and then [1:50] actually deliver on it you'll get way [1:51] more clicks on your video than you even [1:53] know it to do with in fact I literally [1:55] did this with two other videos on the [1:56] exact same channel that did the same [1:58] thing as the first so to use this [2:00] technique for yourself you want to first [2:01] put yourself in the mind of the viewer [2:03] and then write down 10 to 20 absurd [2:05] video ideas don't even worry about [2:07] whether these ideas are possible right [2:08] now just generate the absolute best [2:10] videos you can think of for example if [2:12] you make Finance content you might want [2:13] to make a video called I don't know I [2:15] built a$0 million business in 24 hours [2:17] or if you make cooking videos for [2:19] example maybe you'll come up with a [2:20] video called cooking a five-star gourmet [2:22] meal with $5 just make sure your ideas [2:25] don't seem too impossible or viewers [2:26] will think you're lying and won't click [2:28] and once you've written down a bunch of [2:30] video ideas you'll want to figure out [2:32] exactly how you're going to deliver on [2:33] them which might seem really difficult [2:35] until you get creative and realize that [2:37] you can cap a little bit if you just [2:38] follow it up with a super educational or [2:40] entertaining video to make up for it for [2:43] example in this video where I made a [2:44] game without using my computer I [2:46] technically made the game without using [2:48] my computer because I actually ended up [2:49] calling my friends on my phone and [2:51] telling them how to make the game with [2:53] their computers and the only reason this [2:55] worked and didn't feel like clickbait to [2:56] my audience is because I followed it up [2:58] with a super entertaining story and [3:00] video but if this strategy doesn't end [3:03] up working as well as you'd like then [3:04] don't worry because I have four more [3:06] strategies that I'm going to show you [3:07] for coming up with viral video ideas [3:09] which leads me on to number two the [3:10] social hack social hacking involves [3:12] creating an idea that capitalizes on [3:14] familiarity and relevance even large [3:17] Brands like Nike outside of YouTube use [3:19] social hacking like when they partnered [3:21] with Michael Jordan to create the Jordan [3:22] shoe line and I'm going to show you how [3:24] you can use this method as well but [3:26] first take a look at George jenko's [3:27] Channel you can see that his videos get [3:29] 10 of thousands of views with the odd [3:31] video getting a few million views and [3:33] then bam he creates a video with Andrew [3:35] Tate becoming his most popular video and [3:37] gets over 12 million views the reason [3:39] social hacking he knew that his core [3:41] audience was in the range of 18 to [3:43] 25-year-old men and what is this [3:45] audience love Andrew Tate so he got in [3:47] contact with his best friend Patrick f [3:49] David asked him to connect with Andrew [3:51] flew all the way out to Romania and then [3:52] did a podcast with him he took on a ton [3:54] of risk but it paid off because of the [3:56] power of social hacking his audience was [3:58] super familiar with Andrew so they [4:00] clicked right away now the good news is [4:01] that you don't even need to have [4:02] somebody famous come onto your channel [4:04] to utilize social hacking instead you [4:06] can always just capitalize on stuff [4:08] that's currently trending for example [4:09] the game power world recently blew up so [4:12] on our client's Channel we knew a video [4:13] about it would probably do well however [4:15] every single video about po World [4:17] circulating YouTube at the time was [4:19] talking about the game's controversies [4:21] and we knew that if we didn't do [4:22] something different we just get lost in [4:24] the SE of video saying the exact same [4:26] stuff over and over again and probably [4:28] wouldn't get fused so we took a [4:30] different approach and instead focused [4:32] on PO world's marketing success and it [4:34] became a 20x outlier on the channel [4:36] pulling in over 20,000 views on a newish [4:39] 300 sub Channel and speaking of outliers [4:42] let's move on to number three the [4:43] outlier method an outlier is a video [4:46] that performs extremely well compared to [4:48] everything else on a given Channel now a [4:50] lot of outliers come as a result of luck [4:52] but these days there are tools that [4:54] specifically help you find outliers and [4:56] I'm going to show you the one that I use [4:57] every single day so first you'll want to [4:59] find niches that are adjacent to yours [5:01] meaning you share a very similar [5:03] audience with them for example the [5:04] Roblox Niche is very adjacent to the [5:06] Minecraft Niche the female fashion Niche [5:08] is adjacent to the male fashion Niche [5:10] and the YouTube education Niche is [5:12] actually adjacent to the finance Niche [5:14] basically F niches with a very high [5:16] audience overlap to yours then you'll [5:18] want to use the tool one of 10 to search [5:20] these niches for videos that are huge [5:21] outliers and then adapt them to fit your [5:23] Niche for example when generating ideas [5:25] for this channel I search through the [5:27] finance Niche because it has a very [5:28] similar audience to the YouTube [5:30] education Niche and found Alex horos [5:32] video if I wanted to become a [5:33] millionaire in 2024 this is what I would [5:35] do full blueprint which was a pretty big [5:38] outlier I then adapted it for my own [5:40] channel and created the video the [5:41] blueprint to blow up on YouTube in 2024 [5:44] and it got a one of 10 almost instantly [5:46] one of 10 has also been kind enough to [5:48] sponsor this video but I genuinely use [5:50] this tool every single day to give [5:51] myself fresh inspiration for video ideas [5:53] on a plethora of different channels I'm [5:55] working on and it's never let me down in [5:57] fact it's literally the third tab in my [5:59] bookmark marks bar for easy access and [6:01] for good reason so if you want to use [6:03] one of 10 like I do then click the link [6:04] in the description below for a 20% off [6:07] discount code next up is number four the [6:09] research tab alongside recommendations a [6:11] lot of viewers also find videos through [6:13] YouTube search features and you can use [6:15] that to your advantage with the research [6:17] technique to use this technique you want [6:19] to first go to YouTube Studio analytics [6:21] and then click the research tab where [6:22] you'll be able to see things that [6:23] viewers of your channel are searching [6:25] for when looking for a video in fact [6:27] it'll also show you searches that had [6:29] what YouTube calls content gap which are [6:31] gaps in the market where there's high [6:32] demand for a specific search term and [6:34] not a lot of Supply or you know content [6:36] to deliver on that search term so if [6:38] you're ever stuck for a topic idea I [6:39] suggest checking out the research tab on [6:41] your channel and using a Content Gap [6:43] search you already know people want it [6:44] and that in turn will increase the [6:46] chances of it going viral if again you [6:48] follow it up with a banger video and [6:50] finally number five is the [6:52] recommendation station the [6:53] recommendation station is the simplest [6:55] of the five strategies to keep it simple [6:57] here's a quick tutorial on how to do it [6:59] first you want to download the one of 10 [7:00] Chrome extension using my link in the [7:02] description below then you'll want to go [7:04] to the YouTube recommendations page and [7:05] the one of 10 Chrome extension will then [7:07] give you the outlier scores on the side [7:09] of each video once you find a video that [7:11] is in a niche that's somewhat adjacent [7:13] to yours you can then just repackage [7:14] that video and then use it on your own [7:16] channel very similar to how we do it [7:18] with the one of 10 tool except it's so [7:20] much easier and you can even do this [7:21] while you're on a break watching YouTube [7:23] or doing anything else anyway I hope you [7:25] found this video useful and if I missed [7:27] any of your favorite ways to come up [7:28] with video ideas then just just comment [7:30] them down below so that I can make [7:31] another video like [7:37] this
