[00:01] Saga, but I actually think Marvel squandered an incredible concept. See, the MCU's Multiverse Saga is going to end after the film Avengers: Secret Wars. And a lot of you guys really don't like this Saga because of its endless
[00:13] know what we haven't really had in the Multiverse Saga? The Multiverse. Of the 130 hours in this Saga, only about 42 were Multiverse, and most of those hours were the animated shows. We actually had to
[00:28] wait years to get movies set in the Multiverse. And then, bam, the Saga ends with practically the next movie. A true Multiverse Saga would have featured an X-Men film in Phase 4 as soon as the Multiverse split open in the show Loki.
[00:42] Now, the X-Men will cross over with the Avengers in Doomsday, but this is coming Avengers in Doomsday, but this is coming 12 years after the last film starred Multiverse Saga, we would have had movies or shows set in different
[00:55] universes that were setting up their final confrontation in Avengers: Doomsday. Creatives complain about the constraints of Marvel's interconnected universe, that everything has to follow a Marvel house style. But the Multiverse
[01:07] different genres. Hell, what about Captain America in a reality where Hydra won? Or Ghost Rider in a cyberpunk future? We could have seen different universes that broke the Marvel formula. But instead, as soon as they started
[01:22] cooking with new ideas, they retreat and bring back Robert Downey Jr. to literally grind these concepts to a halt.
