## Summary

This video provides a detailed breakdown of the 'Vought Rising' trailer, analyzing Easter eggs, hidden details, and connections to 'The Boys' universe. The host explores the 1950s setting, character origins, and potential plotlines, including the murder mystery, Vought's Nazi roots, and the introduction of new supes.

### Key Points

- **Introduction to Vought Rising** [00:02] — The video breaks down the Vought Rising trailer, focusing on Soldier Boy's origins and the early days of Vought American. The show debuts in early 2027 and is the first of two spin-offs, with The Boys Mexico also coming.
- **Official Premise** [01:09] — The show is a twisted murder mystery about Vought's origins in the 1950s, Soldier Boy's early exploits, and Stormfront's diabolical maneuvers. Eric Kripke hinted at multiple timelines, possibly including present-day scenes.
- **New Characters: Bombshell, Private Angel, Torpedo** [01:49] — The trailer introduces Bombshell, Private Angel, and Torpedo. Bombshell was previously shown in The Boys and had beef with Soldier Boy. These supes were created by Frederick Vought after defecting to the US during WWII, inspired by Operation Paperclip.
- **Avenging Squad and Klara's Role** [02:51] — The show features an original team similar to the Avenging Squad. Klara (Stormfront) is seen with a 1950s hairdo, and Soldier Boy asks to become a hero, possibly using his father's connections. The show explores his transformation into a narcissist.
- **Cold War Context** [03:56] — The first episode is titled 'Red Scare,' referencing the US-USSR conflict. Soldier Boy is said to have held back the Red Menace, ironically similar to the Winter Soldier. Klara will be named Clara Liberty or Stormfront.
- **Murder Mystery Investigation** [04:35] — A police or government agency is seen opening a car boot with a moral ham, possibly a stakeout. Characters played by Kiki Layne, Brian J. Smith, and Ricky Starks are spying on Soldier Boy. The investigation may involve V1, a volatile early version of Compound V.
- **Operation Paperclip and Vought's Secrets** [05:39] — V1 experiments were destroyed to hide Vought's Nazi past and the use of Holocaust victims for research. The investigation may be influenced by Senator McCarthy's anti-communist efforts. Bombshell is seen being interrogated by Kiki Layne's character, a housewife.
- **Klara's Jealousy and Private Angel** [06:47] — Private Angel advertises a mop company, and Klara appears jealous. Eric Kripke confirmed she will be Klara Vought, eventually becoming Stormfront. Sage Grove is shown as a nicer version of the X-Mansion, where future supes are created.
- **Compound V Experiments** [07:38] — A man played by Jordan Myrie is injected with Vought blue and put on display. The compound is painful, and the experiments are horrific. A soldier in the Korean War is shown, possibly referencing the real-life Isaiah Bradley story from Marvel comics.
- **Isaiah Bradley Inspiration** [09:14] — The host suggests Kripke is lifting from Marvel's Isaiah Bradley, a black soldier used in super soldier experiments. Kiki Layne's character may be searching for her husband, similar to Bradley's wife. The escaped test subject is hunted, and Clara may help him.
- **Soldier Boy's Crash Out** [10:34] — Soldier Boy never saw combat in WWII, as his newsreel footage was staged. Klara tells him there's a brighter future, similar to her spiel to Homelander. The show explores her white superiority politics and Soldier Boy's role in stopping communism.
- **Final Thoughts** [11:29] — The host hopes the show goes beyond two seasons, as it interestingly shows Vought's evolution from wartime experiments to American capitalism. Despite divisive finale, the spin-off has potential.

### Conclusion

Vought Rising promises to delve into the dark origins of Vought, blending historical events like Operation Paperclip with superhero mythology. The trailer teases a murder mystery, new characters, and the moral complexities of early Compound V experiments.

## Transcript

your host Paul, and in this video, we're breaking down Vought Rising. the brand new Vought Rising trailer because it's what Clara would have
wanted. Soldier Boy, or should I say Storage Boy at this point, origins will early days of Vought American. There's a lot to talk about and a lot that we know so far with a season debuting early in 2027. Jensen Ackles who many and many
others as well was one of the standout stars of season 3, and while Soldier Boy's return in season 5 did fizzle out into nothing, a show built around his character has a lot of potential. It's also the first of two upcoming spin-offs
as The Boys Mexico is coming down the line as well. Beyond that, Vought Rising sandwiched between seasons of the main Boys show, meaning it's not constrained by having to set up a final season. A setup that got tossed to the side faster
than Homelander drops his mates. And because season 5 feared pretty hard in the setting up the season, we actually know a couple of characters. We also have the official premise which says the show will be a twisted murder mystery
about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of Stormfront. So in itself, there's a little mystery surrounding it, but the trailer does kind of tease at things
beyond that. Eric Kripke was asked if the show will explore multiple timelines So yes, I'm guessing that we will get stuff offsetting in the present, too. Storage Boy, you will be freed. And this trailer was of course leaked before the
screening of the finale, um and that's kind of how we see saw things in the first place. Um some minor things have changed, but there are certain talking if you saw that, then you know, we basically open with Soldier Boy in his
World War II outfit, then cut to Bombshell, Private Angel, and Torpedo. Only Bombshell was shown in The Boys, and we know that he and Soldier Boy had major, major beef. My guy was always second fiddle to Vought's number one,
and like Homelander, he was the top supe of the era. Klara will take Soldier Boy under her wing and potentially even try and mold him towards being the Uberman that the Nazis always wanted. A Private Angel and Torpedo have only been seen
via movie posters at the Vought homes and director's chair, Mr. Marathon's mansion. These are supes that were made by Frederick Vought after defecting to the US during World War II. That's basically building off Operation
Paperclip, which was a real-life where the West took in Nazi scientists. This ultimately helped put a man on the moon, but people questioned whether it was worth the cost. The scientists were all given immunity from prosecution, and we
do know that Vought was also tied up with human experiments. So, I think they the darker side of Vought that comes with their achievements. Now, expect the show's version of the Avenging Squad, which included Crimson Countess.
She was also part of Payback as well, and each of the two teams' comic rosters was adapted into The Boys, and this four-rising team are all original characters. Looks like they're also talking to Klara, as we can see her very
'50s hairdo in the foreground. They're in an apartment and don't look happy with what they're being told, and we see Soldier Boy is asking to become a hero. and used his father's connections to get put into Vought's trials. We might see
how he was desperate to become a hero only to end up believing Vought's lies and becoming the knobhead that he was in The Boys. Kind of like Steve Rogers if he was given the powers and then turn into a dick because of this. I do feel
save people over to just being obsessed with being famous, drinking, banging whoever, and doing drugs. My kind of guy. However, as we know again, this show is set in the '50s, so I do wonder if this is him asking Klara to make him
a hero post-World War II. The show takes place at a time when the US and USSR being allies in in conflict. But, we're first episode is quite literally called Red Scare. And his exhibitor Vought land
mentioned how he held back the Red Menace. This is bitterly ironic as well, considering where he ended up in 1986 until the present day, as he was of of like the Winter Soldier. We also adored Clara, who will be named Clara
Liberty or even Stormfront. We'll Frederick Vought, as he did seem to have a disdain for him. Think Vought might even be killed by one of the supes themselves, though we do know he grew
old due to his picture at the show. We then see what appears to be the cops or some sort of government agency opening a car boot and turning on a moral ham which we later see the woman using in the trailer. However, I have another
idea as to what this could be. Does appear to be some sort of stakeout though, as we see them in the car, which I think might be the murder mystery appears to be played by Kiki Layne though, while the men are Brian J. Smith
and Ricky Starks. The trailer makes it appear like they're spying on Soldier Boy, and this could be for a very specific reason. We know that V1 and Compound V were major secrets, and the supes in the comics at least were given
comic book-like backstories. Hughie and Karl then exposed that, but at the time the show is taking place, the Vought stuff is national secret. Soldier Boy, Torpedo, Bombshell, and Private Angel received V1, which was incredibly
volatile. Most of the people it was tested on died, but those who survived became immortal. So, I do wonder if this police investigation will be looking efforts to make the modern-day Compound V. There's also something I'll get into
a bit later that might be inspired by Marvel's 2002 comic run, Truth Red, White, and Black. Now, all of the V1 experiment documents were destroyed, as couldn't have anyone finding out that one, he used to be an Nazi, and two, the
serum was made using research done on Holocaust victims. Again, it's very Operation Paperclip, but instead of going on to win the space race, the Von Braun um basically archetype here founded a company that even the most
ardent capitalist say might have gone a bit too far. Also under the investigation might be influenced by Senator Joseph McCarthy's efforts to purge perceived communist from the government. We then see Bombshell being
who might be Kiki Lane, which explains why she's involved in this investigation. When Deadline reported on her casting, it did mention that she's housewife, which is very, very interesting. We know that Soldier Boy
Mother's Milk's tragic backstory. We then see what looks like a news report on a show called Voices in Politics, where someone is saying that God blessed played by Elizabeth Posey's in the middle, and we don't know too much about
her other than she's giving Christina Aguilera and the Candyman video a bit of she's about to sing Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Also appears to be a big moment as outside a TV store, including Klara Voit. We then see Private Angel, who
appears to be advertising a mop company, and I am sure Klara would love that blonde-haired woman, but she appears to be jealous. As we know, she becomes might not be able to see her show off her powers in the '50s just yet,
especially with that accent. Eric Kripke has confirmed that she'll be Klara Voit in this season, so yeah, she probably will become Stormfront at the end, but for now, it's simply Klara Voit. We then fly over Sage Grove, which looks a lot
nicer than how we saw it in season 2. It's inclusion here also makes sense as to why Stormfront was so involved there during that season. Here it looks more like the X-Mansion, which again seems to make sense as this is where the future
supes are being created. Comic fans, we are finally getting a sort of Godolkin Mansion for real. According to the wiki as well, Thomas Godolkin will be appearing in the show, too. We then see the true Voit blue being injected into a
man played by Jordan Myrie, who you may recognize from Bridget in season 3 or not. I had to Google it myself. I doubt many Lady Whistle blown heads watch this channel either. But my guy's going soon and he appears to be put on display in
the mansion later on. The compound is no doubt painful which we see here and it's horrible things happen before they're packaged and marketed. We then see what looks like a soldier in World War II. He's mannequin fires a Thompson while he
can make you into a maniac. However, pardon me when this is wild this is actually the Korean War. This started in 1950 around when the show takes place to defeat communism. We then see the police raid what appears to be an
apartment block and they take someone in. It's something which I feel will tie in with Kiki Layne's character story and possibly along with her being a quote unquote Harlem housewife. Also, don't doubt that Vought is using his
use them for his experiments. This could be how Jordan's character comes in and character uses the thing pulled out of the boot near the start which appears to Thomas Kincaid as he tried to work out the weaknesses for the supes and we see
Private Angel affected by it. We then see Jordan Murray's character break out in a chamber similar to what Soldier Boy and Homelander were put in. Clara's there as well as what might be a younger Frederick Vought. He looks a bit younger
than his wedding photo and it does seem like the pair are keeping a black test sense considering their Nazi roots. Fact is most of them are probably Nazis and Thomas Kincaid even had photos of supes at KKK rallies. He then tries to break
photographed by paparazzi in a press conference for the supes but the man does appear to escape as he shot in a bar. Now it feels like Kripke is lifting of Isaiah Bradley. He was part of a group of 300 black soldiers who were
used to try and replicate the super soldier program. To keep the project a died and only a few survived the experiments. Bradley's wife tried to find out what happened as she didn't believe he was dead, which seems like
what Kiki Layne's character is trying to do as well. Isaiah became the first black Captain America after stealing the costume, but he ended up in prison for having Bradley be given the super soldier serum after Steve Rogers'
disappearance, and we learned that he fought in the Korean War. So, do wonder if Kripke's lifted that story for Vought Rising. Either way, he's being hunted strength. Looks like Clara helps that person as well, and it might be why he's
locked up in Sage Grove. Also, think Kiki Layne's character may be trying to having his picture taken, which seems to be a running thing in this trailer. But, this is by Clara for the promo shots as she sees him as being the guy that's the
best hope of achieving her Nazi ambitions. We also see shots of one of looks to be the same place as Clara stepping on a police officer. As control herself, which also happened again when she returned as Stormfront.
crowd at a celebration with two banners of Private Angel. This might be after they returned from the Korean War and are hailed by heroes by the public. Also, wonder if Soldier Boy's crash out earlier is because he never saw combat
in World War II. As a legend said, he wasn't at D-Day and all the newsreel footage was staged. We then hear Clara say that there's a brighter future. All they need to do is take it. It's similar to the spiel that she spun to Homelander
[clears throat] feel special. It's a time of massive change in America though with the USSR being the enemy of America and racial segregation/the Jim Crow laws ending and basically things devolving into civil unrest. So,
Soldier Boy to stop communism and push her white superiority politics. Soldier was the ultimate expression of what they probably see over the course of the show. It's an interesting trailer
The Boys, we still have people investigating Vought as per usual. Also, kind of hope the show goes beyond two seasons like Gen V as it's so interesting to see Vought go from wartime experiments into a proper
manifestation of American capitalism. I know many, many people are upset with the finale as well. I have read the comments. I thought it was fine. I thought it was the most seven out of 10 finale either and that's not a seven
pun. Yeah, I just thought it was fine. But we have seen with stuff like Game of Thrones where they kind of have a very, very divisive finale and then, you know, a banger season after that with House of the Dragon for like the first the first
season at least. Let's just forget about the rest though. But yeah, that's it for going through it. Please drop a like as well and leave a comment with all your on Instagram as well and keep up to date with what we're doing, then make sure
