[02:40:23] thought about it afterwards the more I started poking holes and everything and different things like that but I still liked it I liked the characters I liked the world that they set up it had its little cringy moments and it
[02:40:37] had its little pointless moments and all that kinda stuff but it was still fun I still really liked it this season it just kind of feels like it wasn't necessary it feels like a lot of stuff they did with it was just for the sake
[02:40:50] do life is strange too I don't know if they're making like four strange - but it feels like they needed more to keep people's interest going all the things that made the other one good and like a lot of their plot setups
[02:41:04] they were doing in this just went nowhere we're still kind of just back where we started except Rachel and Chloe are now a couple it all feels very
[02:41:16] by-the-numbers it feels very rushed it feels very just put out there for the sake of putting it out there it was the idea originally the idea of getting to relationship before any of the stuff happened in season one was hugely
[02:41:30] they got to know each other and everything but the way the characters acted it's also just badly written season one was also badly written in spots but this whole thing is really poorly written we had like in this
[02:41:44] episode alone we had the stuff set up about what's going on with her mom okay birth mom her the other mom that's been raising her is not her real mom okay cool let's see where this goes then you find out more about the mom it's like oh
[02:41:58] she was the drug addicts but she gave up Rachel and and the dad took all fronts like okay that's getting exciting then you find out oh the dad actually lied he and then the mother was like oh I really want to Rachel back and all the letter
[02:42:13] is like okay cool switcheroo and then by the end I was like oh it was that none of that actually needed to happen again maybe it's different when you actually maybe it's different when you actually get Rachel to meet her mom but the
[02:42:26] version I got just feels so pointless and I don't feel like it should be a case of you have to do these perfect things to get this perfect ending I things to get this perfect ending I don't know I'm just disappointed there
[02:42:40] was some parts like that whole Elliot segment just felt absolutely pointless segment just felt absolutely pointless unless Elliot means a lot more in the remember I can't remember him from the original one boy a lot of what happened
[02:42:55] in this one was like oh now he's at the house and just stupid decisions from all the characters and stuff that didn't really add up or go together like the dad being a DA but he was still sending money to the mom although I guess it
[02:43:08] he was sending her money but she was still a drug addict which made no sense as like well why are you sending her money then surely that's grounds enough not to be able to send her money you are an attorney after all
[02:43:21] but I guess there was a bit more to it then after that because he was lying then after that because he was lying I don't know I'm curious to know what guys thought about all of this cuz I like the characters I like this world I
[02:43:34] like and I really really wanted to like this but there was just so many parrots this but there was just so many parrots where I'm just like come on it's definitely more poorly written than the original which again was kind of to be
[02:43:48] expected because it's made by different people and they're focusing on different people and they're focusing on different things and what-have-you but I don't know it feels like they were banking on the success of the first one and then
[02:44:01] they made this one and I didn't really live up to it more from more closely towards the first the first season the original season I
[02:44:15] would like to have seen the timeline progressed a bit more forward like remove all the stuff about the mom remove all the stuff about how rachel was trying to meet her original mom it's like that's not the stuff we know and
[02:44:29] it's also the stuff that I don't care about like any of the stuff that was happening in this game I was like okay I don't really care because again it leads you to the point of well in the original season like everybody's like we know how
[02:44:43] Chloe is we know how David and Joyce are we know all these different things we lot of stuff that was happening in this was like well does it matter because the same stuff was going to happen anyway because it's a prequel so I would have
[02:44:59] liked to see this the story arc of this again it would have been rehashing some of the same stuff but I would have liked it be a lot closer to the original season like that little snippet we got at the end where we saw that I can't
[02:45:11] remember the teacher's name from the original game the by a guy who was taking the pictures of Rachel there at the end I would have liked to see it be more closely related to that that this episode would have been what actually
[02:45:24] during that time we got to see some of it in the original season because max has time powers but I would have liked to see it like a play-by-play of it here here and there that oh maybe it wasn't the way we thought it was like some
[02:45:38] little bits here and there were a bit different but Chloe chose not to talk about that part because it's it was bad or embarrassing or something that she something like that give it a bit more weight a bit more bite a lot of stuff
[02:45:50] that was happening in this so I was like I don't care it was nice to see some of the characters in an earlier setting and we got to figure out who they were a lot longer before that but there was also very a lot less stakes involved in it
[02:46:04] anyway it would have been so cool to see the third episode you were like well we know she's gonna die but how does it all go just because you know what happens doesn't mean you know how it happened or
[02:46:20] maybe I'm just miss remembering how that the time flashbacks went in the the original season but again it would have added a lot more cool like little twists added a lot more cool like little twists here and there I know I'm curious to see
[02:46:33] what the farewell episode is gonna be because the bonus episode for this is we're gonna be back with Max and Chloe so maybe it delves into that a small bit more maybe we get more of that but again that's also a separate thing with the
[02:46:47] characters we already knew which brings me back to this of like why I don't know I'm being a bit too negative I don't want it I don't want to [ __ ] all over liked and it was cool to be back in the world and it was cool to be back with
[02:47:02] loved like seeing Victoria and Nathan Nathan was a really interesting side of this because he was pretty normal in most of it and then you saw that all the bullying and all the stuff kind of got to him and he sort of snapped so that
[02:47:16] seeing that and we saw some other characters like Stef and Mikey and drew characters like Stef and Mikey and drew I liked them and different like again it was just cool to be back in that school and everything but overall felt like it
[02:47:29] actually was I felt like they could have gone a bit more with it a lot of it was just kind of safe and a bit a bit too inconsequential and as you saw a lot of stuff that I was doing at the end didn't even really seem to matter
[02:47:44] like the dude I ratted out and the ending that I picked cuz in the ending I her to meet her mom anyway and by the looks of it very very few people got that and I don't like the idea of having to get perfect scenarios to make it all
[02:48:00] to get perfect scenarios to make it all work just to get the perfect ending not work just to get the perfect ending not really into that anyway that does it for be back with the bonus episode whenever it is out the farewell episode I don't
[02:48:14] know anything about it yet but I'm sure it's gonna be these are very frequently timelined as a month or a couple of months between each other so I'm assuming the next one will come out not that long away we're not gonna have to
[02:48:26] I am curious to see where they go with this franchise after this I hope they make a life of strange - I the powers the thing that was cool about the original life is strange is that you had time powers but the ways it was just
[02:48:40] time powers but the ways it was just teen angsty drama that I wasn't super sci-fi element to it and it was time-travel really invested me because I time-travel really invested me because I love that so without that I some of my
[02:48:53] otherwise then you're just left with some poor dialogue and poor writing and it was sad that the original voice actresses weren't in the game again they brought back I think they weren't in this because of
[02:49:06] I think they weren't in this because of writer strikes or like voice actor strikes stuff that was going on with is it sag I think the the sort of group
[02:49:18] that they're with to do their job boy it was sad not to see them be part of it and that also played into the whole thing because the voice acting in these episodes wasn't the best so a disappointing season from a team and a
[02:49:33] franchise that can be and has been so much better that's that's the way it summed this up but if you guys liked it that's that's well within your well within your prerogative to do so I personally I didn't hate it I just
[02:49:48] but if you liked it I'm not gonna sit here and [ __ ] on it all day which sit here and [ __ ] on it all day which feels like I happen already but I'm not gonna judge anybody else if they liked it there are parts to like so I'm gonna
