One of the best overall sports cars ever, in my opinion. This is a 1993 Mazda RX-7, and it's an absolute masterpiece. This car has truly gorgeous styling, and under the hood is a rather quirky, but
wonderful and smooth rotary powertrain. This FD has it all, under 35,000 mi, R1 package, unmodified. For an FD, this is as good as it gets, and you can get this
one on Cars and Bids. Let's start with one of its most obvious strong points, the way it looks. I've always felt this car is absolutely beautiful. A tremendously clean and simple design that didn't get too fussy or aggressive
or over the top. This car was subtle, yet still purposeful and aggressive and smooth. One of the most beautiful Japanese or cars ever, in my opinion. Being a rotary, this car has this unbelievable amazing situation where the
powertrain is just the smoothest damn thing you will ever experience. God, this car is a total rocket. It absolutely feels faster than a Supra. It absolutely feels just as fast as an NSX. And then you have wonderfully
predictable, easy steering and a great chassis that is just so eager for some fun. Even though it's only 250 horsepower, whatever it is, it just feels so quick because the car doesn't weigh anything.
