[00:26] Anna and I met as brand owners. We were just trying to figure out how to create >> And that's when we got together and we started watching thousands of pieces of
[00:39] content, specifically Tik Tok shop videos, and seeing what made them convert, how they converted, and we've really fully dissected the entire thing and put together our own framework and program.
[00:51] >> Fast forward to today, we've trained creators to do over $20 million in sales. Not only that, but we've gone on international luxury destinations with our creators. We've brought people to Europe for the first time. We've danced
[01:05] on tables. We've gone to all the Tik Tok shop events. And most importantly, we've created a community of people that we truly love to work with every single day. It is so fulfilling. And Tik Tok Shop is a winwinwin. The creator wins,
[01:19] the brand wins, and the customer who's purchasing the products win. So this entire journey is just so fulfilling. So today's guide is to those of you who have heard of Tik Tok Shop or maybe you're just starting to get into it and
[01:32] whole thing even work? Well, as people who turn moms into millionaires, you're in the right place because there's no one better who can walk you through Tik
[01:44] Tok Shop 101. Starting at number one, what is Tik Tok Shop? Tik Tok Shop is Tik Tok's builtin shopping system. It allows people to buy and shop directly
[01:56] inside of Tik Tok. So, you don't even need to leave the app. You purchase probably seen when you're scrolling your for you page. And it's not the same as
[02:08] Amazon where you're browsing through a catalog of products. On Tik Tok shop, you are in the Tik Tok app. So, you're already scrolling regular content and there's just shoppable content that's being put in between where in one simple
[02:22] click, you can buy any product as simple as this journal. And this also allows creators to earn commission by promoting these products. Anytime you purchase a product from one of these videos, the person that actually created the video
[02:37] gets commission. >> So, why does everyone love Tik Tok shop? brands, creators, and Tik Tok themselves. It's because there is no ceiling to how much you can make on Tik Tok shop, no matter who you are. The
[02:50] reality is if you just figure out how to go viral, not even the sky is a limit. You can go beyond that. >> How do people make money on Tik Tok on Tik Tok shop as a creator. So that's as a Tik Tok shop affiliate.
[03:06] >> The affiliate promotes products in their videos and that's how they make money. you earn a commission per sale. So, usually it's somewhere around 20% commission. So, again, if I sell this journal for $10, then I would make a $2
[03:20] commission for every single unit. >> But this affiliate doesn't own the and all my earnings are automatically tracked through Tik Tok's affiliate system. >> This is simply the easiest way to start.
[03:34] >> Number two is you can make money on Tik Tok shop as a brand. This is also known as a Tik Tok shop seller. So, you create your own product as a brand. You stock your own inventory. You ship out all your products and you sell directly
[03:48] through Tik Tok shop. This requires more setup, more money, and you obviously have to start a fullon business. Ann and I are brand owners and we love it so started, becoming a Tik Tok affiliate is the easiest way.
[04:03] >> Absolutely. Number three, you can be a live seller. This is all about live real time. >> Think QVC, HSN. The thing about live
[04:16] money every single time you live stream, but we're not going to say that it's not a lot of work and a lot of time traded for the money. >> It's a lot of energy. But we do believe live streaming is going to be a huge
[04:32] going on live, consider adding in some live streaming. >> For the purposes of this course, if you want the easiest and the most accessible way to make an extra couple thousand of dollars per month, or even if you want
[04:47] to go big and you want to make millions, either side, you should definitely become a creator. As a creator, you don't have to invest anything into upfront inventory. All you need is your phone, the camera on your phone, a
[04:59] selfie light, and that's pretty much it. It's very easy. You don't have to stock buy inventory upfront and invest a ton of money into this. You can literally
[05:11] followers to start? Nope. You can actually start with a very low amount of audience because you're actually not selling to your audience on Tik Tok
[05:26] shop. You are selling to the algorithm. So, Tik Tok shop creators get very good at understanding how the for you page works. And when you scroll your for you page, are you seeing people that you follow or are you getting pushed new
[05:38] videos? Cuz from what we've seen, it's mostly new videos and new faces. We also love Tik Tok shot because you don't have to be an influencer. You don't have to be someone with hundreds of thousands of followers. Literally, anybody can do it.
[05:51] You just have to have 1,000 followers or 5,000 followers to start. walk you through exactly how we do it. >> How do I get paid and who pays me?
[06:03] >> Tik Tok. Tik Tok tracks everything automatically. That's what's so nice. to depend on anyone because it's all automated through Tik Tok. You earn money when people purchase products from your videos that you create and you post
[06:19] on your account or when they purchase products from your showcase. you receive a commission percentage and that commission directly deposits into your show you there's a Tik Tok shop [music] dashboard where you can keep track of
[06:34] products you're selling the most. >> What do I need to start >> a Tik Tok shop enabled account with either 1,000 or 5,000 followers, your
[06:46] first products that you want to promote, and this selfie light right here. As of December 2025, if you have an account with 1,000 followers on Tik Tok, you can post around five times a week. However, if you have an account with 5,000 plus
[07:00] followers, you can post unlimited Tik Tok shop videos. Do I need to buy products first? Not always. [music] You can buy the product and film with it if you want to start fast. But another option is you can receive free products
[07:14] from brands. So, this actually all happens in the sample center. And we also help our creators in our community get partnered [music] with brands early on before they even have sales data. But in Tik Tok shop, you can find any
[07:26] product you like and some of them will offer free [music] samples. You can go and navigate in the Tik Tok shop dashboard, request a free sample, provide your address, and brands will send you products for completely free.
[07:38] start off by buying one to two lowcost items. But a lot of people have great success with requesting a couple samples, making that your core beginning
[07:50] products, and getting printing. [music] >> You can also look around your household and see if there's any of your favorite products already listed on Tik Tok shop. Right now, there's brands coming onto Tik Tok every single day. So, there's
[08:03] likely products that you already use that you can start promoting now. What >> Anything and everything. pretty much as long as it's legal. Tik Tok Shop is an
[08:15] open marketplace. So, just like any other marketplace you shop from, there's literally everything. There's home and furniture, there's beauty, there's supplements, there's tools, there's gifts. Pretty much any retail item you
[08:29] selection of what you want to promote. And this is really nice because you can choose whatever feels the most authentic or whatever you have the most natural
[08:41] talent to speak about. There's even tractors on [music] Tik Tok shop, do people make starting out? >> It depends on how much you put in. We
[08:53] have trained creators and they've made over $10,000 in their first 30 days. But listen, those are people who truly [music] put everything in. So they are posting consistently. They are showing up. They are getting feedback. They're
[09:06] >> They're taking action every single day. They're not just putting in work a later. No, they're showing up consistently and they're motivated and
[09:21] We've seen people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and even 60s make over $10,000 a month on Tik Tok shop. Now, obviously, this is not guaranteed at all. Again, it
[09:35] depends how often you're posting, how consistent you are, even the products you choose. You know, what your product strategy is going to be, and also it depends on if you're a fast learner or not. Are you able to take in all this
[09:47] information, or does it take you kind of a long time to really get into the groove of things? It all depends. >> And also, where is your mind? Do you have a lot of limiting beliefs that are holding you back from actually reaching
[09:59] your full potential? like are you holding yourself back from having that $1,000$10,000 $100,000 month? Those are things that we work with our creators on in the academy in Tik Tok shop. We often notice it doesn't always come down to
[10:13] skill. Sometimes it comes down to your mindset. Are you even comfortable with making an extra couple thousand a month or does that feel very scary and chance it's going to feel harder. Versus, if you are ready to make that
[10:27] money, we see those people excel fast. Some people make their first sale in 24 hours. Some people make their first $1,000 in a week. And some people make full-time income in months. There is no cap on earnings. That's the really cool
[10:40] thing. So, on the high end, we've seen people literally break $100,000, even >> There's literally no limit. So whatever you decide that you want to do on Tik
[10:53] Tok shop, it is possible for you. Do I have to talk? Can I do faceless content? >> Sometimes, but you have to be strategic. There's different types of faceless content that can work on Tik Tok shop. Although the most successful format and
[11:08] the most consistent format that we've seen working is often talking head. So that means that you're just on your phone in selfie mode speaking. It's you depends on what type of product you're talking about. For example, if you're
[11:23] instead of your face. But if you're talking about beauty, people are >> How do you gain an account to 5,000 followers?
[11:36] >> If you're familiar with other platforms, getting to 5,000 followers sounds like something you have to be a celebrity for, but that is not the case for Tik follow. We mainly recommend follow [music] trains and just organically
[11:51] posting content. The main key here is you have to [music] follow what works. So if you see content on your algorithm that people are gaining a lot of followers from, you should take inspiration from that. There's a lot of
[12:03] different follow trains specifically with Tik Tok shop and a lot of moms too. So we actually have broken this fully down in an SOP that's in our academy. So if you join the academy, we got you. How do you apply for Tik Tok shop as a
[12:17] creator? >> Well, there is this handy dandy barcode QR code over here that you can scan with your phone and it will take you directly to the application page to become a Tik Tok shop affiliate. Please note, you
[12:30] have to have at least 1,000 followers as of December 2025. So, if [music] you apply. Although once you have those followers, you can just scan this QR
[12:42] apply >> and sometimes once you hit a,000 wait 2 to 3 days after you hit that number, scan the QR code and you should
[12:55] manually through the Tik Tok app, you can actually navigate here to the settings tab, you'll find this Tik Tok studio page. And once you click on that, you will see that there is a little pink section. At least it's pink right now.
[13:10] They often change things. It says Tik Tok shop for creator. Okay. So, you want to get into the Tik Tok shop for creator center. Once you're there, if you're >> Is this oversaturated? >> No. Every single day, new products
[13:26] launch, new brands enter, new buyers join Tik Tok, and old creators quit sometimes. [music] There is always room for consistent beginners. And the reality is that Tik Tok shop is growing and expanding every single day. There is
[13:41] more than enough room for everyone to win. Mario and I watch hundreds of pieces of content every single week from creators and we see new creators entering the space every single week that are going viral right off the bat.
[13:54] It is possible for you. And if you think it's oversaturated, that is a limiting belief. Who is buying from Tik Tok shop? actually woman over 40. You would often [music] think it's your teenage son or your teenage daughter, but no. These
[14:10] people, yes, they're using a Tik Tok app, but they're not the ones actually purchasing. The people purchasing are actually your normal American customers who are looking for a good deal and to buy their favorite products. So, when
[14:24] audience and you're not going too niche and you're not singling out the biggest population of shoppers, which is why we always say, "Speak to America.
[14:37] >> Speak to America." >> Can I use an existing account or do I need a shop only account? Many people already have accounts with 1,000 or 5,000 followers, but it's their main page. Maybe they're worried about, oh,
[14:51] are my friends going to see my content? Am I going to be too salesy or am I going to be spamming the algorithm if I post on that page? If you're worried Tok shop is a for you page game, not a follower game. So, if you know how to
[15:08] speak to the algorithm, it doesn't matter where your followers come from. As long as they're real followers, you can go viral no matter what. Having that second page really allows you to detach from your main page and release the fear
[15:21] of your friends, your family seeing it and to really start something fresh and to have a shoponly algorithm. How do you request a sample? >> Well, once you're approved as a Tik Tok shop creator, you'll have access to the
[15:33] Tik Tok shop sample center. This is super fun. Basically, you have to go to the creator marketplace and then you can browse products that offer free samples. So, this photo on the left is what the marketplace looks like. You see there's
[15:46] a shop icon at the top of your for you page. You click on shop and you'll see see listed. In this case, I just clicked on this magnesium mist. You'll notice at
[15:59] the bottom there is these small [music] arrows where you can expand this lower area where it says add to cart and buy now. And when you expand that, you will see the option to either get a refundable sample or a free sample. Now,
[16:12] refundable sample is offered by some sellers. This means that you will have to buy the product first and then depending on if you make one or two sales usually of the product, they'll refund you for the sample. If you want
[16:27] to get started with absolutely 0, you want to navigate to products that have [music] free samples. So, it should say free sample. You can request it from the seller. They have the option to send you the product or not, but if they approve
[16:39] it, you get it for completely free. All you have to do is create content in return. This is what it looks like when you find a product that does offer free samples. You just hover over, click on get a sample, you select which one you
[16:51] want, and you click the big red button that says request free sample. Whatever product you do request free samples for and you receive them in the mail, you do going sample crazy and ordering a ton of free samples, you're going to have to
[17:06] >> If you don't make videos for these free samples, then sellers will see it in the seller dashboard and it will show that you don't make videos for sample >> How to film, [music] post, and tag a product. How to film? Just keep it very
[17:23] simple. Hold the product. Show how it works. Use it. Try it. Unbox it. Get a setting in the background. And have a script when you're filming. Talk about
[17:37] watching it on their for you page. So, make it very visually aesthetic pleasing, whatever you would want to see about this product before purchasing it.
[17:49] You can talk, you can use a voice over, or you can stay completely silent and just use [music] text on screen. We usually recommend talking in the videos good lighting and a steady phone is a must. And we break down how to write a
[18:05] script and all the talking points you need for any product that you talk about on Tik Tok shop in our academy. How to post. Open Tik Tok. Tap the plus on the very bottom of the screen to upload your video. Select your video, add a caption,
[18:20] add the product, and you can post. You can also film directly in the Tik Tok app, which we love doing. So, you can tap the plus button. You can start filming your video in there. You can even edit it in Tik Tok and [music] then
[18:32] post it. How to tag the product. Once you tap the plus button and you select the video that you want to post, you write your caption. Then, you click where it says add link. This is where you're going to add the product. You
[18:44] click add link. Then, you choose the item from your Tik Tok shop. showcase, add it to your video, and then you post. We always recommend clicking preview anything on your video. So, when you click add link, this is exactly what it
[19:00] looks like. This little thing will expand on the left side. You want to click product. Then, it's going to show you all the product links. If you don't bottom saying add more products. Usually, you're going to add stuff from
[19:15] the product marketplace, but you can add stuff to your showcase from any of those links there on the right hand side. And then once you find that product listing, linked [music] onto your video. >> And then you can start making money when
[19:29] people purchase products from your video. Tik Tok shop lingo that you need to know. >> GMV, gross merchandise value. This is the total dollar amount of sales [music] generated. Think of it as another word
[19:43] product and earns money when their content drives a sale. So, you are most likely a Tik Tok shop affiliate. >> Commission. This is the amount that an
[19:55] >> Mass ad authorization. A setting that allows Tik Tok [music] to automatically turn eligible creator videos into ads without needing individual approval each
[20:08] time. In our group, we have an SOP on exactly how to turn that on to make sure >> Then the famous GMV Max. This is Tik Tok's automated AIdriven ad system. And
[20:24] people really don't know what this means, but it's super simple. GMV Max will automatically boost high-erforming content that makes sales, and it will just give it more views and more sales. So, if you organically make a video that
[20:38] start boosting it, giving it, and inflating [music] it with a ton more views, and you're going to make a ton more sales. There's no way to manually just have GMBB Max get into your video. The best way to do it is by making
[20:54] high-erforming content so that the algorithm will automatically place you into GMV [music] Max. bottom of funnel content aimed at people who are already ready to buy and just need a final push or reason to
[21:06] purchase. For example, a sale. You'll oftent times see videos on Tik Tok shop where people are like, "Double discount. Buy this today. It's the holiday sale. Time to buy it." A lot of those videos are actually bottom offunnel videos.
[21:19] There's also [music] top offunnel videos. These videos are the ones with heard of this product, have never even engaged anything like this and they're >> Top ofunnel videos are our main focus. Where do you see your sales?
[21:37] >> Right here in the handydandy Tik Tok shop for creator center. Once you have Tik Tok shop already enabled on your account and you're making sales, you can click and you can enter this creator center and you can see exactly how much
[21:49] commission you're making today or the last 7 days. And you can even click on that and it'll give you a ton [music] of different data. So all this is super >> Well, now you've made that money and you want to cash out, right? So, you just
[22:04] scroll a little down in your Tik Tok shop creator center and you'll find a button that says earnings. In there, you'll see the available balance. It usually takes a couple days for your sales commission [music] to actually
[22:16] come into your earnings. So, sometimes there might be a small discrepancy, but order settle, it'll be fully available and you can click that red button that
[22:28] says withdraw. After that, you'll be able to make sure you have your bank account information linked and your tax information so that everything is smooth and seamless. >> What is GMV Max? How do ads work? GMV
[22:40] Max is Tik Tok's automatic ad system [music] for product videos. So, it's kind of like their AI ad system. It allows the brand to put ad money behind videos that are already selling, automatically scale what's working, and
[22:54] generate more sales without extra effort from the creator. How often do [music] I >> Our classic strategy that has worked for people who have made over $100,000 a
[23:07] month in profit are people who post at least once a day for each product that different products and posting a [music] different product every day. You got to
[23:19] speaking about that product. So, the best way you're going to do that is post one video a day or however many you want, but one video is really enough about the same product. [music] We recommend starting with two to three
[23:34] products at first and really [music] focusing on those so that you become a literally talk about these while you're sleeping. Like, you have it down so
[23:46] well. It comes so easy and so effortless to you. [music] And that is exactly how you're going to start making really high converting videos. And you don't have to worry about promoting the same products over and over and over again because
[23:58] these videos are being shown to new people every single time you post. What are the steps to getting started? Once you have a Tik Tok shop enabled account, you're going to want to verify your ID. Then add your bank account information,
[24:12] start adding [music] products to your showcase, start posting, and make sure to add the product tag to all of your videos. This all happens in the Tik have Tik Tok Shop enabled. Otherwise, you're not going to know how to find
[24:27] what we're talking about. >> Go to your profile, slide over to the shopping cart, and then click on creator center. And that is exactly how you're >> The showcase is super fun. Think about it as your catalog that represents you
[24:42] and everything that you love to buy. So, your showcase is that little shopping bag on your profile. You can see in this screenshot [music] that it's highlighted right below the Tik Tok studio word at the top. You can add products to it
[24:54] super easily and anyone can then go to your showcase and basically browse through and [music] find your picks, your favorites. If someone finds one of everything that she has." They can literally go to your profile, scroll
[25:10] through your showcase, and any products that they add to their cart and they purchase, you get commission from. So, make sure that you add all your favorite products to your showcase. And this is also where you can access your Tik Tok
[25:22] shop creator center [music] right here. What are the general posting rules? Super simple. Make sure the product is in the video. If you talk about a violation. Tik Tok will hand these out when they want you to fix certain things
[25:38] about your content. But what you need to know is you got to avoid the violations. [music] Number two, avoid mentioning that you can buy the product at other stores or Amazon. It's okay to say that the price is better on Tik Tok shop, but
[25:52] if you encourage people to buy from any other platform, Tik Tok shop is not going to like that and they'll probably hand you a big violation. And don't give incorrect price information. If the price that you mention in the video is
[26:06] violation. [music] So, what is the truth about Tik Tok shop? You do not need a big following. You do not need to quit your job. This is something that you can
[26:19] actually start on the side and just put in a few hours per week. You do not need to be an influencer or a celebrity with a huge following. You can literally start from scratch. And you also don't have to be perfect on camera. A lot of
[26:32] our creators that we've started with had never even posted a talking video before starting with us. And our highest success rate is really with everyday regular moms because those are the people who are shopping and people who
[26:45] are shopping want to relate to the person that they're buying from. So you do need patience. Okay? It's going to be a learning curve. It's a completely new environment, a completely new skill. So you do have to have patience with
[26:58] yourself as you get into it and as you learn. But if you have daily action and you have that willingness to learn, you are going to win. Not only that, but if you have consistency over confidence, you're going to be a millionaire.
[27:12] >> You have to be consistent. If you post one week consistently and you're like, "Oh, I'm not seeing results. I haven't even made a single sale. This is not for me." You're not going to succeed. You have to stick with it and keep showing
