[0:00] Today could mark the end of the internet [0:02] as we know it. The United States just [0:04] snuck a bill under everybody's noses to [0:06] basically force age verification, [0:08] biometric scan, and digital ID on every [0:11] single aspect of the internet. And so, [0:13] if this passes today, it's it's GG. And [0:17] I don't normally ask this, but I'm [0:18] asking all of you right now to please [0:20] leave a like on this video and please [0:21] comment and just share this video [0:22] around. More people need to be aware of [0:24] this situation because today is a make [0:26] it or break it for the internet. [0:28] Depending on how the voting goes in the [0:30] house today will determine if the [0:32] internet basically comes to an end. And [0:34] so there is ways to potentially fight [0:36] back against this today. You could call [0:37] your representative which I will talk [0:39] more about in this video. But for now, [0:41] please help share this video around for [0:43] people are aware of this situation. This [0:46] is actually happening. The entirety of [0:48] the United States is about to force in [0:51] age verification today. I'm not even [0:54] joking. I just became aware of this late [0:57] last night and a bunch of people are [0:59] becoming aware of this as well. You can [1:01] see a lot of people slowly starting to [1:03] recognize and kind of key in on what is [1:05] going on here. It is um not good. You [1:07] have even politicians from Japan talking [1:09] about this situation. So, let's just [1:11] let's dive head first into this. So [1:13] basically there is a package of multiple [1:15] different bills and laws and stuff that [1:17] are passing through the House right now. [1:20] And basically there is going to be a a [1:22] vote to be able to pass this. And the [1:25] bills within this package is being [1:27] supported bipartisan support so to [1:29] speak. This right here which basically [1:31] means that both political sides, [1:33] Democrats and also Republicans are both [1:36] in agreeance with passing this package [1:39] of different laws. And um this in one [1:42] law in particular that is raising a lot [1:44] of eyebrows is the one that is basically [1:46] KOSA, the kids online safety act that [1:49] will force age verification on to every [1:52] single person within the United States. [1:54] And basically to get into specifics, it [1:57] will force every single platform to make [1:59] sure and reassure that they know you're [2:01] of age and of an adult. For instance, if [2:04] a platform doesn't know you're an adult, [2:05] they could theoretically get fined and [2:07] get into a lot of trouble. So, they're [2:09] being forced to implement some form of [2:11] safety rails or guards to prevent, you [2:13] know, basically young users being able [2:15] to get on. In a perfect world, this [2:17] sounds completely okay. But the thing [2:19] here is is that we have seen time and [2:20] time again with the laws within like the [2:22] UK and the EU that these online safety [2:25] acts, the digital, you know, IDs, [2:27] biometric scans, and everything does the [2:29] exact opposite of protecting people or [2:32] even protecting kids. It puts everybody [2:34] in danger. It puts your personal [2:35] information out there and it basically [2:37] makes it to where everybody's at risk [2:39] for potential data breaches or, you [2:41] know, just getting doxed in general. [2:42] It's just it's not good at all. And so [2:45] the point here is is that this law is [2:47] being pushed through the door under [2:49] everybody's noses pretty much. It's just [2:50] snuck under everybody's radar for the [2:52] most part. And now it's at that point to [2:55] where there's not really much you can [2:56] really do but hope that there's people [2:57] on the uh the voting that do notice this [3:00] and actually deny it. But this is [3:02] literally happening today on the 29th. [3:05] Like today is Monday the 29th in the [3:08] United States right now and this is [3:10] getting voted on. This is this is bad. [3:14] Like this is really really really really [3:16] really [3:17] freaking bad. Like this is basically the [3:20] moment of is it over? Is the internet [3:24] dead? That that is pretty much what this [3:27] is. So, let's get into specifically what [3:31] is being said here. So, we have little [3:33] over 24 hours to save the internet. The [3:35] vote is being rushed to the United [3:37] States House floor on Monday the 29th. [3:40] Buried inside the Kids Act are [3:42] provisions that will push online [3:43] services to verify all users ages [3:47] require government directed moderation [3:49] policies for online speech and even [3:51] create new rules about private and [3:52] encrypted communications. The bill has [3:55] bipartisan support in large corporate [3:56] donors who have all a vested interest in [3:59] eroding your privacy and freedom of [4:01] speech. Similar bills have already [4:02] passed in other countries for instance [4:04] UK and you know Europe and individual [4:06] states and led to ID scanning mandates [4:08] aka what's going on for instance with [4:10] like Pornhub you know how you can't [4:11] access it without basically IDing [4:13] yourself more or less this will become [4:15] the entirety across the entire like the [4:17] whole internet like you'll have to ID [4:19] yourself just to access the freaking [4:21] internet and this will be from my [4:23] understanding countrywide it won't just [4:25] be a specific state it will be basically [4:27] countrywide anyways faulty AI moderation [4:30] the removal of encrypted messages ages, [4:31] etc. If passed, some platforms will [4:33] require ID scans from all users. Some [4:36] may try to deploy faulty estimation [4:38] technology that will randomly trigger [4:40] and cause your accounts to either [4:42] permanently delete or locked until you [4:44] fork over an ID. These systems have been [4:46] a disaster where deployed in other [4:48] regions, it led to many accounts losses [4:50] and data breaches. So, more or less [4:52] what's being said here is that um all [4:54] these platforms will implement some form [4:56] of like AI system to determine if you're [4:58] an adult or not. And obviously we know [5:00] that these systems are very poorly [5:01] managed and they basically mess up all [5:04] the time. And so there's going to be [5:05] thousands, millions potentially of [5:07] people that are going to get falsely [5:09] flagged and they're going to have to put [5:10] their ID up to be able to identify [5:13] themselves as an actual adult. And [5:15] basically what this means is is that [5:16] yeah, you proven you're an adult, but [5:18] now your information and where you live, [5:20] your driver's license and everything or [5:21] whatever you use to verify yourself is [5:23] now on that site and you're trusting [5:24] this random website with your personal [5:27] information. I know I wouldn't, but [5:29] that's basically what's going to happen. [5:31] You want to access Wikipedia? Well, you [5:33] need an ID for that. Oh, you want to [5:34] access Google? You're going to need an [5:36] ID for that. You don't want to watch a [5:37] YouTube video to be able to save your [5:38] grandma that's having some problems. You [5:40] know, basically can't breathe and you [5:41] got to figure out CPR. Well, you need ID [5:44] for that. That's basically what's going [5:46] to happen here is that you're going to [5:47] need an ID just to be able to access the [5:50] internet at any given moment to [5:52] determine your age. It is This is [5:54] disastrous. not just for the internet [5:56] but for privacy itself. And this is the [5:59] the domino effect that I have literally [6:03] been talking about over and over and [6:05] over again. This is that Shimonetta 1984 [6:11] reality that we have entered into. If [6:14] this passes today, this this could be [6:18] I'm not even joking the end of the [6:21] internet as we know it. This is [6:23] literally creeping towards that [6:24] dystopian like f uh future where you're [6:27] no longer anonymous. You no longer could [6:29] be, you know, a different person online. [6:31] You could just be anonymous and just do [6:32] whatever you want. You will now have a [6:35] face attached to everything you do [6:36] online. This is absolutely scary cuz [6:39] it's a complete invasion of privacy. And [6:42] the big thing that these companies want [6:43] to do for you or why they would want [6:45] your information is to be able to sell [6:47] your data, but also be able to target [6:49] you with certain ads and make profit off [6:52] of you. Because let's just be blunt, we [6:54] all know this. If you have been on the [6:55] internet, you know that if you know [6:57] certain websites track you and know what [6:59] you're into, they will start throwing [7:00] certain ads at you that you know you [7:02] might be interested in. They figure out [7:04] everything about you to be very [7:05] predatory to basically target you with [7:08] certain ads or marketing. and they're [7:10] going to go to an extreme level with [7:11] this, especially if they know exactly [7:13] where you live, your full name, your [7:15] age, and everything. It's going to get a [7:17] lot worse. And then that's not [7:18] including, for instance, data breaches [7:20] and selling your data to third party uh [7:22] companies or even countries at that. [7:25] It's not good. So, yeah, everything [7:27] about this is just bad freaking news. [7:30] And the scariest part about this is that [7:32] this is bipartisan. I want to reiterate [7:35] this. This means that it's a both sides [7:38] problem. This means it is Democrats and [7:40] Republicans both coming together and [7:42] being like, "This is good." And when you [7:44] have two political parties that are [7:46] always at each other's throats wanting [7:48] to basically completely topple the [7:50] other, coming together to agree on [7:52] something, you know, this ain't good. [7:54] And I've been talking about this over [7:56] and over again that both sides want to [7:58] censor the internet. Both sides want to [8:00] kind of usher in complete surveillance [8:02] and knowing what you're doing at any [8:03] given time because it means that they [8:05] will be able to control the narrative, [8:07] be able to censor you and know what [8:09] you're doing. I mean, we've already seen [8:11] the dangers that this causes within the [8:13] UK, within Europe. I mean, we've all [8:16] seen it. We know what's going on in [8:17] Europe. For instance, if you want to [8:19] talk about illegal immigration, for [8:20] instance, in Europe or UK, they will [8:22] send police at your house or potentially [8:24] censor you. You'll get a fine or [8:25] whatever. they're more concerned about [8:27] that than actually fixing real issues [8:29] or, you know, addressing things to try [8:31] to fix things. And that's what's going [8:32] to happen here. And so, I think that [8:34] this is a massive attack on freedom of [8:37] expression, free speech, and also just [8:40] your privacy itself. This is horrible. [8:43] And this crazy thing about this is that [8:46] this legitimately was slid under [8:50] everybody's noses. And not many people [8:52] have become aware of this until [8:53] literally today. That's insane. Like [8:56] that that's so freaking insane to me. So [8:59] yeah, I honestly guys, the only thing [9:02] you can really do at this moment is what [9:04] uh Earl Maner actually posted here is to [9:07] contact your representative on all that [9:09] right here, which I will I will link [9:11] this in the description. Please contact [9:13] your representative for your state to [9:15] basically not allow this to happen. It's [9:18] honestly the only way to be able to stop [9:20] this. But it it's so late. For instance, [9:24] it's it's literally today. I don't even [9:26] know if it would work. In the time you [9:27] guys see this video, maybe the votes [9:28] have already happened and it's already [9:30] passed. Maybe it got denied. Hopefully, [9:31] it did. But yeah, I'm just I'm sounding [9:34] alarm here because this is a red flag. [9:37] This is basically everything the buildup [9:40] from like last year with Kids Online [9:42] Safety Act and everything that has been [9:45] built up to this very moment. And it's [9:47] [snorts] finally here. It is finally [9:49] here. and it's packaged in so many [9:51] different bills to make it look like if [9:53] you try to shoot this down, you seem to [9:55] not care for kids safety. That's what [9:58] they're doing here. Because I I want to [10:00] really showcase the maliciousness of how [10:02] it's just very disingenuous. They're [10:04] naming this, for instance, the kids act [10:05] and all that. They're like burying it in [10:07] a title like that. So basically, it [10:10] looks really bad if you're against this. [10:12] If you're against this type of stuff, [10:14] you legit don't want to protect kids. [10:16] That that's what this looks like. And it [10:18] shuts down any counterargument or any [10:20] disscent or any politicians that want to [10:22] speak out about this. It makes them look [10:23] bad optically. It makes them look bad. [10:25] And so it's going to make it to where [10:27] they're going to lean heavily on just [10:28] supporting it not to look bad optically [10:30] cuz let's be honest, it's all about [10:32] optics. That's what people view things [10:34] as. And so optically they're going to [10:36] vote for this because they don't want to [10:37] be viewed like someone that doesn't care [10:39] about kids. So yeah, just oh my oh my [10:43] god. Like I I really hope there's some [10:46] sensible people at the House today in [10:48] the United States when they vote they [10:51] shut this down. Please [10:53] please don't let this pass. Please don't [10:57] let this pass. I really really really [10:59] really really really [11:01] hope that this does not pass and that we [11:05] find out like later today this gets shot [11:08] down. Please, please, please, please, [11:10] please. I will leave it at that though. [11:13] I wanted to bring this up because this [11:14] is uh [11:16] yeah um if we find out today if this [11:18] passes or not, I will make a follow-up [11:22] video. So stay tuned to that. But uh [11:24] with that being said, please subscribe, [11:26] leave a like on the video, help spread [11:28] this and all that because more people [11:29] need to be aware of what's going on [11:30] today. But be safe, guys. Talk to you [11:33] later. She be outs.
