[00:02] podcast channels, how you can make money with them, and what's going on with this story of many channels being demonetized. I want to show you this directly from YouTube itself so you understand what's
[00:15] happening and how you can get out of this situation. There's a very interesting alternative that very few people are doing or talking about today. I've talked about this before, and you can take advantage of this

[01:19] everyone is doing now is cutting podcasts, right? Well, look who already talked about this on July 8th of last year, 2020, more than a year ago. Look at this little video here where I talk to you about cutting podcasts. I think
[01:34] big cutting channels that exist today existed back then. There was Talk, that's what had podcast cutting, right? So it was really back in the beginning, and I'll give you a heads-up, I made a good amount of money with a podcast channel too, but unfortunately, what happened
[01:50] happened, many were already wary, and it happened to me too, podcast channels are being demonetized. One of my channels was monetized too, and we lost the monetization, so we requested it
[02:04] monetization on the channel, but it was demonetized again. And now I want to talk to you about some alternatives because...  You can do some out-of-the-box things to make money again, just like we did
[02:17] I talked about this. You should have seen this video asking for 3,000 views. Look at that, a lot of people could have earned a lot of money by watching this video. But since you're here, you can also take advantage of it
[02:30] now in this video. Okay, first thing, Mauro, what's happening? The podcasts are being demonetized, but there are people still showing ads on their channels. There are channels out there, people are doing it a lot, becoming famous,
[02:43] saying they make a lot of money, and they were putting ads on. Anyway, there are 'm recording this video, I know are still being demonetized, but there's no way to know for sure because we already know about the new YouTube rule, right?
[02:56] Since the beginning of 2021, YouTube shows ads on practically any channel. Today, even if the channel isn't in the partner program, that is, even if the channel isn't monetized, for the channel owner...
[03:09] with less of me writing.  For example, you ca n't be in the subscribers and four thousand hours of viewing time, and even then you'll see that these channels are showing ads. Why? Because YouTube changed the rules, not this year, but
[03:24] had already announced it, and this year we can see it more strongly, with several small channels showing ads. So there's no way to know, sometimes you'll look and podcasts showing ads, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're
[03:37] involved. I know this because, besides my channel being demonetized, I have analyzed and who came to talk to me because now they are looking for talk about that later in the video, but I want to
[03:51] n't seen anyone doing yet. If you see it later, leave it in the comments, and I'll tell you about this out-of-the-box approach. But it's because YouTube is demonetizing people who authorized this issue, which
[04:04] want to show you the truth, YouTube itself explaining what it is. The content is being reused, and that's precisely why YouTube is demonetizing channels. It flags the content as reused, so it says that you're
[04:18] creating content that uses someone else's content without including else's content without including educational value. This is the big issue: videos that are very similar. And that's not all.
[04:32] Look, YouTube says exactly that. I know, it sometimes allows for a bit of leeway, and it's complicated, things I can tell you, for example, here it says: "See below for more
[04:46] examples of videos that cannot generate revenue." And look how specific it is. It fits exactly, even though it's been times cannot generate revenue. And then you'll say, "But why did it
[04:59] rules, you were within the rules." What is it doing now? Pay attention: why did so many people manage to make money from managed to make good money with podcast channels? But why is it that
[05:13] YouTube has started demonetizing them now?  That has that are monetized precisely because of this: content submitted, remember? They can't take revenue from content submitted multiple times by other
[05:27] content creators. You see, that guy even mentioned promoting other content, right? Content from another person, even with their permission? That answers two big questions. But if the flow... Ah, sure, let's keep the big
[05:40] take the content. YouTube is on your case for these two reasons: even with someone else's permission, and mainly, I think—this is really because they're submitted multiple times. And here's a small
[05:55] can give you here. There's something I thought of, I analyzed it, I'm not going to risk it now, but if you want, you already have a channel, right? If it growing my channel, is there anything I can do? You might be able to,
[06:08] being used so you don't lose revenue, you have to hurry, remove the other videos and try to put podcasts. The small ones can, those that... They're not yet very well-known because, again, you won't find content that's been
[06:21] uploaded multiple times if you're one of the first to grab that podcast. And it's not just about being the first to upload the video, but if there's a podcast that other people aren't doing as much, then you'll be able to monetize it
[06:34] that podcast becomes very big and famous, a lot of other channels will copy its video, creating many similar and repetitive videos, and then you'll lose the monetization. So this is a first alternative that I do
[06:48] n't like so much, but it might work. That's why you might still see some podcast channels that are still focused, even creating content by cutting out podcasts, focusing on
[07:00] less competitive, less well- known podcasts. And then they'll fall into times, but this isn't my preferred way to monetize. I'll tell you other way, which you've probably already seen and is kind of obvious, is that it's already become
[07:14] podcasts and other podcasts.  Now, folks, what's happening is that you sell products as an affiliate. If you do n't know, you earn a commission on each podcasts post have a link in the description to a course—again, a
[07:27] YouTube course, right? If someone buys through podcast owner earns a commission. For example, on a R$ 300 course, the person can earn a commission of up to 50
[07:39] %. So you can earn up to, for example, let's say there are fees and all that, but let's do a simple calculation: a R$300 course, sometimes you'll earn up to 150% in commission. Again, it's not 0% because there are fees,
[07:51] you'll see it's a little less, but it's more or less in that average. There's an for example, one purchase per day. If you sell one product per day, you already earn R$150 per day. You sell 10 products per day, that's R$150 per day, and
[08:05] YouTube doesn't initially have a way to block; it will continue to allow it.  So, we report the videos, right? We repost the videos and podcasts. The big change is that it won't let you monetize through the
[08:18] partner program. But if you have creativity and monetize in other ways, yes, you can monetize, including... I discovered this quite a bit too. Vick and several other large channels are being demonetized, right? See here
[08:30] on YouTube, and also smaller channels that have a good amount of let me be the final of your course, right? Your "Like the Club" is a cool course that talks about Dark channels, right? It talks about subscription channels, similar to
[08:43] where we're big and don't show our faces. So, interestingly, I want to show people you tell the truth about monetization, you're always ahead, from some affiliate channels too, and now they're starting to sell the
[08:56] selling really well, even though they aren't big channels, right? I'm not Even so, they make some jokes, of course, and I think you're not going to get rich doing this.  Okay, so monetization is only possible
[09:09] very broad audience. But I suggest you try it if you already have a channel, a growing channel, or if you really enjoy you. Even if you want to be an affiliate for my course, I'll open it up for

[10:01] but now to finish up...  I want to give you one last, final tip, the big I've hardly seen anyone doing. Now again, if you've seen anyone know what happened. There's only one channel here on YouTube doing it more or less, which I'll
[10:14] tell you, but it's possible to do it without showing your face. What I want to tell you is this: YouTube allows you to do this. Let's look quickly at examples of content that can generate revenue: using crime to do critical analysis of a
[10:26] rewrote the dialogue, did a new voiceover, filming, a reaction video where you comment on the original content, and here's the most interesting part: edited footage of the content where you add a narration or
[10:41] commentary, reaction videos. There are channel doing this, which you might have thought about a have dark channels where people don't show their faces, and maybe I'll do that someday, but I swear I'd already
[10:55] talked to you about it, because nobody does a reaction video, right? These podcasts, why don't they?  The cut and with the reaction there, right? You react. You seem to be saying that if you want to go ahead, too. I've seen this one here, there's a channel doing it, if you know any others,
[11:09] put them here, but it's a pretty safe way, right? In principle, YouTube allows reactions. So you appear, you talk over it, you can show the code snippet of the cut and you talk, you comment on it, that's one way. And the other way we
[11:21] have is to do an edit where you add a narrative or commentary, funny edit, you can do an interesting narration, an interesting edit, an interesting narrative of the podcast, you can do an edit
[11:34] in the compilation, you know, go from preaching to a cut, you make a compilation that gave you something cool, but you will need, in my opinion, this here, as you can see, it's not exact, but in my opinion, you will need to at least
[11:47] your voice, in case you don't want to appear, so there's that alternative, at the time, reaction appearing on the podcast. But you can do it with your voice, do something funny, use your creativity, make some cool edits, right, that gives a
[12:02] different narrative, right, that really brings something that makes us feel like a video.  It's not a something funny, something that entertains people, something quite informative, right? It has some commentary, just with your voice, and that will already help, it will
[12:15] increase your chances of monetizing. Mauro, the thing is, how can I monetize this money? Unfortunately, no, you can see that YouTube isn't exact when it comes to monetization; nobody knows exactly what it will
[12:27] my experience, I know that normally when you put at least your voice in the content, when you do a good edit, you can already get monetization. And I Mauro, but if I do an edit... and if I go through a
[12:41] program that changes the video metadata, or something like that, YouTube... you'll also want to... which is what you'd expect from one of the biggest companies in the world?" I think it's difficult. You can try, right?
[12:53] 'll rotate the video, I'll speed up the video... As far as I know, I've already tried these things.  Back then, I don't waste my know, students, sometimes they have to go, sometimes they want to, they try, and they've
[13:07] that last thing, trying to cheat, trying to be clever, unfortunately won't work. But if you don't have a problem, just your voice doesn't matter, right? recognize you, nobody knows who you are. If you put it in, you have a great chance, or even
