[00:02] ago, people have been using it to create massive amounts of largely lowquality content. And one place where I find this especially disturbing is on Amazon. Because it used to be that I would go to Amazon to buy books and I had an
[00:16] expectation that those books would be good quality. But these days, people are creating books and lowc content books like notebooks and planners and things like notebooks and planners and things like that and also workbooks and they
[00:28] are self-publishing them on Amazon which I love. But a lot of them are really junky and lowquality and just a waste of everybody's time. So today I want to see if I can do something different. I want to see if in just 4 hours I can create a
[00:42] workbook that is actually good quality and will actually be helpful to people and then publish it on Amazon. So what I need to do is first of all research. I'm going to use mostly Book Bolt, maybe ChatGpt some as well to try to find an
[00:55] idea for a workbook that I can create that there will be enough demand for and that people will actually want and will actually be helpful to people. Then I'm going to use Chat GPC to create the content. And then I'll use Bookbolt to
[01:09] design the book and get it all formatted right for publishing. And then I'm going to actually try to get it published on Amazon. Okay, so we've got four hours on the clock and the first thing we need to do is research to find a good idea for
[01:22] this workbook to decide what the workbook is going to be about, what the title is going to be and all of that. And we need an idea that is both going to be useful to people and also be popular enough that there will be enough
[01:35] people who are interested in it. So I decided to start with Chad GPT to do you're doing any sort of research, you always have to start with some ideas research if you don't know what you're researching, right? So, I headed over to
[01:49] Chad GPT and I just asked it to generate some ideas for workbooks that would be useful to digital entrepreneurs. So, Chad GPT has come up with a whole bunch of ideas for me. I asked it to generate 20 ideas that would be helpful for
[02:03] digital entrepreneurs. And I think it did a pretty good job coming up with ideas that would be helpful, but I'm not really sure if they would necessarily be popular. And I've noticed that Chai GBT isn't necessarily very good at knowing
[02:15] which things are actually popular. It doesn't know about things like search volume, like how many people are looking for something per month. Um, but it does know what things people talk about more than other things. So, I've asked it
[02:28] which ones it thinks would be the most popular, but I really want to verify popular, but I really want to verify this and not just trust the AI. So, I'm going to head over to the Book Bold Cloud module now. And I'm going to also
[02:40] Cloud module now. And I'm going to also look on Amazon and try to see if I see any indicators like numbers of reviews on Amazon for similar products um and also what Book Bolt can tell me about these different kind of like topics or
[02:53] niches on Amazon. So this part of the process turned out to be very informative because I headed over to Amazon and I just started searching the titles and the keywords from the titles of the different ideas that ChatGpt had
[03:06] given me. And I was looking for basically workbooks or books on Amazon that were similar to each of these ideas. I wanted to figure out for each of them if there was kind of a proof of concept. If people had already created
[03:19] books or workbooks that were somewhat similar to these and how well they were being received, how many reviews had they gotten and what was that competition like? Cuz I didn't want too much competition, but at the same time,
[03:32] I did want to see some evidence that people were actually choosing to purchase these things. So, I ended up creating this Google Docs document where I just listed out specific ideas that I actually saw doing well on Amazon. So,
[03:46] these were no longer just ideas that ChatGPD had generated that I didn't know how viable they really were, but these were ideas that I actually saw succeeding on Amazon. So, based on what I'm seeing on Amazon and on Book Bolt,
[03:59] when I look up these different ideas that ChatGpt came up with, it looks like a content planner or a content marketing planner is probably going to be the most popular thing that I could create. I also saw that there were some marketing
[04:14] plans and business plans that were really popular as well. So, I'm thinking bigger than just a simple content planner, but also has some like a chapter at the beginning that will help
[04:26] people to really plan out their content marketing strategy and maybe their overall marketing strategy and then from there get into planning the content I can create. But the big challenge right now is deciding exactly what to
[04:41] this right now, but I have several different ideas that ChatGpt came up of them, for example, is the smart content system, plan, create, convert, or plan to profit, your strategic content marketing planner, or the
[04:56] consistent creator, or the visibility blueprint. So, there's a whole bunch of good ones, but I think that I know what I want the inside of the workbook to be about and to cover already. So, I think I'm just going to skip choosing the
[05:11] title for now and get to creating the content. And then I'll revisit the titles a little bit later. And hopefully one of them will stand out to me. Okay. So, it's time to actually get to work creating the interior content of this
[05:24] book, like the words on the page. And this whole process is going to start with just outlining, right? We need to decide what the different chapters are each of the different chapters will cover. And ChatGpt did this part of the
[05:37] process really well. I described to it in as much detail as I could think of right now what I wanted it to be like, what I wanted it to cover, what I wanted it to include. Now, with this outline created, I decided to start a whole
[05:50] bunch of the next parts of the process all at once. So, I have gone into Bookbolt and I have set up the project that I'm going to use to format the book. And then I've also created this Google doc where I'm going to be
[06:03] compiling the contents of the book. And then I've also headed over into chat JPT and asked it to start writing the first chapter of the book. So hopefully having so many plates spinning at the same time doesn't end up coming back to bite me.
[06:15] efficient and I'm starting to feel a little bit crunched for time. So I think I need to get things moving a little bit faster than I have been so far. So we're making progress. Strategy BT has outlined this whole workbook for me and
[06:28] I like how it's shaping up. But now I'm trying to have it actually create the trickier. uh it wrote it and it sounds pretty good, but obviously it's not formatted right at all. And I don't just mean like
[06:41] formatted right for publishing on KDP, but I mean like the worksheet doesn't look like a worksheet right now. And if I have to do all the formatting, then it's going to take me a lot longer than 4 hours. So I have asked ChatGpt if it
[06:55] can format it and give it to me in a downloadable document. And it says it has done it. So, I'm going to download this right now and we're going to see this right now and we're going to see what it looks like. Hopefully, it is
[07:08] usable. Hopefully, I don't have to do this all manually. Um, I'm sure that there is probably a way to do this. It did it. Okay. Um, some of the lines are maybe not quite long enough. Um, but it is all
[07:25] formatted. There are lines and just making them a little bit longer will be a piece of cake, but it has made all of the like the headers for the different sections of the content into the right types of headings. So, this is saving me
[07:40] a ton of work. So, at this point, I got into some kind of continual multitasking. So basically I was going back and forth between chat GBT asking it to generate the next chapter of the book and then going into the word
[07:54] document that it had just generated and cleaning it up. And by cleaning it up I extended, adding some more lines where I thought there needed to be some more forth working on one while it was generating the other, then downloading
[08:09] up, and kind of going in a continual circle with these different things throughout the entire rest of the book. And this book ended up being a lot might notice that I'm now calling it a book because that really is what it
[08:24] ended up turning into. It started out it was going to be like a very kind of just fill in the blank. Well, it ended up being a book for the first solid half of this thing and then this kind of fill-in- thelank content planner for the
[08:37] second half and over a 100 pages total. Okay, so I am 2 hours in and I've made some really good headway. I have about six out of the eight main chapters of the book formatted and ready to go. And so there's just a couple more chapters
[08:51] and then getting into the actual like content planner calendar layout sort of go, but unfortunately, I got to stop here for now because my husband is about to leave to take the kids to jiu-jitsu. So, I have to go home to be with my
[09:05] 2-year-old who does not do jiu-jitsu. So, I'm going to hit pause on this and then come back tomorrow and try to finish it all up in the remaining 2 to go. It's going to be tight. I know that. Okay, so it's day two. I'm back.
[09:19] clock and there is a lot to do. I got to finish putting all of the content into the book. Finish generating the uh like planning pages for the book and then we
[09:31] all formatted right. We got to design a cover that could take hours on its own and then we have to submit it to Amazon to get it published. So, we'll see if we
[09:43] don't know. So the first part of what I worked on today was a lot like what I was working on yesterday. Just doing that multitasking, that continual multitasking where I was asking Chad GBD to generate a chapter at a time and then
[09:57] working on the previous chapter that had generated. And the timing on this was working out really well. It was taking me just about as long to edit each chapter as it was taking it to generate and then for me to download each
[10:10] chapter. And I would say on average this was about like 10 minutes per chapter. So not bad at all. Now, one thing that did end up needing some specific attention was the calendar layout because I did want this to be a content
[10:25] where people could actually put the different pieces of content that they were going to create like laid out on a calendar for the month. And the calendar calendar for the month. And the calendar that chat GBT generated or formatted was
[10:38] sadly lacking. um it was just these brackets um in kind of a grid. So I went into the word document and I added a table into that part of the workbook draft and I formatted it nicely because like I said that really is some of the
[10:52] meat of this workbook. Uh kind of one of the major sections and so I wanted it to look really nice. So I've officially made it to the end of the contents of the book itself. All the planning pages are created and formatted properly and
[11:05] they look great. So now I'm working on the front matter because if you're going it to have a title page and a copyright page and a table of contents, different things like that. And then once I have those pages created, then it comes to
[11:21] and making sure that every page of the book is on the right page inside the book. Okay, so I've gone ahead and I've added in this copyright page onto one of the first pages of the workbook and then also this table of contents page. Um,
[11:34] and I just created this table of contents manually myself, which is fine. It certainly does the job, but it doesn't look quite how I would like it to. I would like it if all of those page numbers were right aligned. Um, so they
[11:46] were kind of like in a column on the right hand side. Um, not just having the chapter names left aligned over on the left hand side. Um, so I'm going to see if I can get that looking a little bit more professional here. Well, I've run
[12:00] into a bit of a rough spot here trying to format the table of contents. And I decided to try using the automatic Word table of contents generator, and it created this massive table of contents that includes way, way, way more detail
[12:15] than I wanted it to and has ended up freezing up the Word document. So, we're resolved. Okay, so we're not frozen anymore, and that is great, but I am
[12:27] just going to leave the table of contents as it is with the numbers not take me a bit of time to fix. I think it looks fine. It's not as professional as it could be, but I think it'll be okay. So, let's move on to getting these pages
[12:42] on the right pages of the book. [Music]
[12:58] exporting this book, which is choose a title so that the title page of the book has the right title. So, here are the options that I came up with earlier. The ones I was most strongly considering are the smart content system, plan, create,
[13:14] convert, or the visibility blueprint, 90 days of strategic content. I think I'm going to go with this one for now. Maybe I'll change it in the future. I don't necessarily like it any better than the other ones, but
[13:30] but I have to choose something. Well, I ended up running into a huge snag there at the very end of the process with KDP being down. So, I couldn't actually get the book published on the same day. But, it's a new day now and KDP is working
[13:43] again. So, I've been able to go ahead and finish publishing the book, which I'm really excited about. It ended up taking a little bit longer than I was initially hoping. didn't quite make that 4 hours. It ended up being right about 5
[13:56] and 1/2 hours, but I would way rather spend a little bit more time than get it done in just the minimum amount of time, but have created something that people wouldn't actually find useful. So, I'd highly recommend this process. If you
[14:09] are looking to make money online by self-publishing books, especially if you want to use AI to do so, please don't just create a ton of junky, lowquality books. I know it's faster, but it'll be a lot more satisfying. And ultimately,
[14:24] it will result in, I would say, much bigger and better results if you create actually good books because then people will want to buy more of your books. You'll get good ratings on Amazon. You will get good rankings on Amazon. So, I
