Creators with channel memberships, YouTube has some new info on international pricing, smart pricing recommendations, and updating pricing for new members. Hello, insiders. I'm Rene Richie, a longtime creator now working at YouTube. And here's what's up. First, YouTube will be updating international pricing for new members to reflect exchange rates to make sure memberships are fair for all creators globally. YouTube will notify creators when this is happening and we'll have until August 17, 2026 to review the recommended changes or set up our own custom prices before automatic updates go into effect. So, keep a lookout for that. We'll also be getting smart pricing recommendations right in YouTube Studio. These are personalized pricing suggestions based on our location, audience, and engagement. So, we can have some frames of reference for our pricing and don't have to stress about starting from scratch. And yeah, creators will be able to update pricing for new members once every 12 months per membership tier, all while keeping existing members at their current pricing.
