[00:00] Hey, what's up YouTube? My name is Matt Modai. I'm a content producer and betting analyst for oddsham.com and I'm here to talk to you about an insane sports betting strategy called middle [00:12] betting. I'm about to use my ESPN 30 for 30 voice and say, what if I told you you could place a bet on both sides of the same exact play but somehow win both bets? That is exactly what middle betting [00:27] is doing. You're taking it over on one side. You're taking it under on the same exact side, but because of the pricing discrepancy between the two numbers, between the two books, you could possibly win both bets. So the easiest way for me to talk to you about middle betting [00:44] would just be to show you, which is exactly what I have up on my screen here. So if you go to iShame.com, you go to tools, you go to middle, you can see every opportunity in which you can successfully and profitably middle or specific sports betting opportunity. [00:59] The first one we see on the screen here is in the Washington State versus Oregon State game. The cool thing about Osham tells you everything you need to know. This percent here, this percent is assuming one bet wins and one bet loses. [01:12] But as you can see based on the bet itself, if the player lands at exactly 70 receiving yards, you would win both of your bets, which is just insane. So the play to confirm is Donovan Olley over 69.5 receiving yards plus 122 on Sandwell, [01:31] and then you also going to bet the same player Donovan Olley to go under 71 receiving yards minus 115 on DraftKings If he lands at exactly 70 you win both bets But you can use this calculator here to do the math for you [01:48] Let's say only one side of the bet wins. Then that's the most likely scenario, right? Like it's a very specific number for him to land at exactly 70. It's not crazy. 70 receiving yards is a very normal number, [02:00] but unlikely that he lands at exactly that number. So what happens if he goes over or if he goes under? Well, our team does all that work for you. So let's say you bet $100 on the over $69.50 side. [02:14] If that bet wins, so actually let me back up. So if you were to bet $100 on Donovan Ollie to go over $69.50 receiving yards, you would risk $100 to profit $122 to get a payout of $222. [02:31] On the other side of it, you would bet Donovan Ollie to go under $71,500 in half-receiving yards. You would risk about $118 to make the same exact payout. [02:43] So the total sum of the transaction here, you are risking $218 to get at a minimum a payout of $220, which gives you at a minimum a profit of $3.26. [02:58] Now, what happens if both of them win? you get a payout of $444. It's insane. Middle betting, if you have a lower bankroll and you are middle betting, you can guarantee a profit, right? [03:11] If one of them hits, it doesn't matter. If one loses, you're still going to guarantee a profit. But in the off chance that it lands exactly in the middle, you could win both bets and increase your bankroll by a dramatic amount So middle betting is a really good way like I said to build up your bankroll If you not quite ready you know you learning positive expected value betting [03:31] you're not quite ready to risk the variance that comes with just betting on one side, you can bet both sides from middle betting and just literally double your bankroll possibly on one given bet if you get lucky and win both sides. [03:45] There's also a scenario where you can middle bet and have a higher chance of winning both your bets, but the percent if only one bet hits, obviously, won't be as high. So we see another player receiving yards in another college game, Cam Camper, [04:00] over 89.5 receiving yards, plus 130 on same goal. The same player, Cam Camper, to go under 92.5 receiving yards, minus 130 on drafting. So they have the same exact odds, just inversed, right? [04:14] plus 130 and minus 130. So in this case, you have a little bit of a wider gap. He can land at exactly 90, 91, or 92, and you would have won both bets. But if he goes either over 93 or he goes under [04:27] 89, you still wouldn't lose money. And again, let me show you. So let's pretend again we're risking $100 on the fangirl side. If you bet $100 and he wins the fangirl bet, you will get a profit [04:40] of $130, a payout at $230. If you bet the under 92.5, $130 at minus 130 odds, you would profit $100. So again, you are risking $130 for a profit of $100, total payout of $230. So in this case, [05:00] your total risk is going to be Your total payout is also going to be if one bet wins and one bet loses So in this case obviously you didn lose any money So you increased your probability of winning both bets but the payout or the other side [05:16] of that is you're not guaranteeing a profit like you are on this first one. But that doesn't mean necessarily one is better than the other. Why not place just both sides of it or both bets, I should say, so four bets total. [05:28] Why not place both middle bets? You're still guaranteeing an income, right? There's no scenario in which you place all four of these bets in which you lose money, but you are also giving yourself an opportunity of winning both sides. [05:40] And if both of these bets win both, then you are just exponentially increasing your bankroll. So middle betting, I think, like I mentioned at the beginning, is a really, really good way to build your bankroll. You're betting both sides, so there's no guarantee of losing money, but you give yourself the [05:56] upside of winning both bets and dramatically increasing your bankroll. So I like doing middle bets in situations such as this where you can either guarantee a profit or there's no guarantee, there's no possibility of losing money like both of these examples. [06:10] So go to iGram.com, check out the middle betting tool, start placing middle bets yourself and start profiting betting on sports. But that's going to be it. So hopefully this video makes sense in terms of the middle betting strategy and what middle betting is, why it's such an insanely profitable betting strategy. [06:26] If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. You can hit me up at Matthew at ICM.com. You can also comment on the video with your feedback that way, but that is going to be it. So I appreciate you guys watching, and have a good one.
